This Revelation Timeline Decoded post features a video from Dr. John Barnett of Discover the Book Ministries DTBM, called HOW DOES JESUS TELL US TO LIVE DURING COSMIC QUAKES & ASTRONOMICAL SIGNS.
Dr. John Barnett of Discover the Book Ministries says that whenever we study the Bible, we’re never wanting to just gullibly follow anything. We’re supposed to be Acts 17:11 Bereans.
Amazingly, then Dr. Barnett proceeds to give the false, dispensational explanation of prophecy fulfillment; which sadly, most people gullibly follow because of teachers like him.
In his timeline of the ‘order of events of Bible prophecy,’ Dr. Barnett shows a 2000 year time gap in between the 69th and 70th week of Daniel 9, which is a grand deception that people gullibly follow.
Any teacher who is basing their explanation of Revelation on the concept of a future 70th week of Daniel 9, the 7-year tribulation period, is misleading you. The false concept of a 7-year tribulation period is based on the 70-weeks of Daniel 9 prophecy. The prophecy foretold when Messiah would appear to carry out His ministry, and when (in the middle of the 70th week) He would confirm the (everlasting) covenant (that was mentioned in Daniel 9:4) with His blood as the Passover Lamb, to atone for our sins. It’s not about the end times or the antichrist.

In this futurism chart of the ‘order of events of Bible prophecy,’ Dr. Barnett shows a pretribulation rapture before the supposed 7-year tribulation period, during which he proclaims that most of the prophecies in Revelation will be fulfilled.
This is a false narrative that most people gullibly follow. Most of the prophecies in Revelation have already been fulfilled during the last 1,900 years, as the Satan-empowered leaders of the Roman beast kingdom have fought against Messiah and His saints. The pagan Roman Emperors tried to wipe out the early church, killing millions. The Roman Popes banned and burned the Scriptures and caused tens of millions of saints to be killed during the Dark Ages and the Inquisition. These are the things that Messiah is pointing to in His apocalyptic vision.

Dr. John Barnett of Discover the Book Ministries says that dispensationalism sees a difference between Israel and the Church.
This is an unscriptural perspective, which is based on his false, futuristic prophecy fulfillment explanations. Scripture clearly declares that a true Israelite is one who has a covenant relationship with the Father through the Son.
Romans 2:28-29 tells us that a Jew is one inwardly, whose heart is circumcised. “For he is not a Jew who is one outwardly, nor is circumcision that which is outward in the flesh; but he is a Jew who is one inwardly; and circumcision is that of the heart, in the Spirit, not in the letter; whose praise is not from men but from God.”
Romans 9:6-8 declares that Abraham’s fleshly descendants ARE NOT the children of Elohim. “For they are not all Israel who are of Israel, nor are they all children because they are the seed of Abraham; but, “In Isaac your seed shall be called.” That is, those who are the children of the flesh, these are NOT the children of God; but the children of the promise are counted as the seed.”
Galatians 3:7 tells us that ONLY those who are of faith are the children of Elohim. “Therefore know that only those who are of faith are sons of Abraham.”
Galatians 3:16 tells us that the seed of Abraham is Messiah. “Now to Abraham and his Seed were the promises made. He does not say, “And to seeds,” as of many, but as of one, “and to your Seed,” who is Christ.”
Galatians 3:28-29 tells us that followers of Messiah (Jew and Gentile) are Abraham’s seed who receive the promises made to Abraham. “There is neither Jew nor Greek, there is neither slave nor free, there is neither male nor female; for you are all one in Christ Jesus. And if you are Christ’s, then you are Abraham’s seed, and heirs according to the promise.”
Paul is clearly telling us that true Israel, true Jews, believe by faith, and so inherit the promises made to father Abraham. Everyone who believes in Messiah by faith, are the Chosen People of God. They will inherit Holy Jerusalem when Messiah returns.

Dr. John Barnett of Discover the Book Ministries gives the Dallas Theology Seminary explanation of prophecy fulfillment.
He proclaims this to seem to give his explanation credibility, but it’s the very opposite.
In pointing to DTS, Dr. Barnett is identifying the primary place from which the enemy’s false, futuristic explanations of prophecy fulfillment have spread around the world.
DTS graduates such as Hal Lindsey, Chuck Swindoll, David Jeremiah and Dr. Thomas Ice of Left Behind, all learned the false, futuristic explanations of prophecy fulfillment at Dallas Theological Seminary. The leaven of the Jesuit’s false, futuristic deceptions has spread around the world through DTS graduates.

Dr. John Barnett of Discover the Book Ministries says that the antichrist rises to power over the Roman confederacy.
That’s an interesting statement, as the antichrist beast popes ruled in civil power for 1,260 years, from 538-1798 AD, as the leader of the Roman beast kingdom. And now the false prophet Jesuit Superior General controls the Vatican and the Roman beast kingdom.
The false, futuristic explanations of prophecy fulfillment that Dr. Barnett teaches serve to deflect blame away from the enemies of Messiah and His saints, and of the world.

Dr. John Barnett of Discover the Book Ministries says that in the middle of the 7-year tribulation period, that the antichrist will be revealed as the man of lawlessness.
I’m amazed at the ignorance of people pointing to an end times man of sin, son of perdition, when the popes have clearly fulfilled this role.
The Roman popes proclaim to lead Messiah’s one-true church, but they teach a false gospel and that Mary is the intercessor to the Father, which has left billions of Catholics lost in their sins.
The man of sin popes cause Catholics to break the second commandment, in having them make graven images which adorn their many churches and homes. Catholics revere the graven images of Mary and bow to her and pray to her.
The man of sin popes have caused Catholics to torture and kill tens of millions of Messiah’ saints during the Dark Ages and Inquisition, which breaks the commandment about murder.
The man of sin popes forbid their priests from marrying, which is unscriptural, and it has led to priests raping nuns and children, and many being homosexual.

Dr. John Barnett of Discover the Book Ministries points to the Revelation 6:12 natural disturbances and worldwide fear of divine wrath.
How does a man with a doctorate in Biblical studies not understand that the Bible uses the symbolism of the darkening of heavenly bodies, to point to a leadership system being removed from power? Or maybe he does understand and he’s just hiding it in order to promote the false, futuristic explanations.
Dr. Barnett cites Joel 2:10 and Matthew 24:29, which pointed to the Jewish leadership system (high priest = sun, Sanhedrin = moon, priests = stars) being removed from power during the Jewish-Roman War of 66-70 AD, as punishment for them continuing in rebellion against the Heavenly Father and for delivering His Son up to be killed.

Dr. John Barnett of Discover the Book Ministries says that Jerusalem will be overrun by Gentiles.
That’s misleading and ironic, since today Jerusalem is overrun by Gentiles, as many of the people called Jews are Jews by religion not blood. The Khazar Jews are descendants of Turkish people who converted to Judaism in the 8th century AD.
When they were pushed out of Khazaria, they move primarily into Russia and Poland. Then under the guise of WWI and WWII, they justified moving to Palestine. The Khazar Jews were welcomed by Palestinians, but then the Khazars turned against the Palestinians, destroyed many hundreds of their unwalled villages, killed many people and took control of the land.
Most of Zionist Israel’s Prime Ministers came from Russia and Poland, and they changed their last names to sound more Jewish.
Messiah foretold these people in Revelation 3, when He said that they are “of the synagogue of Satan, which say they are Jews, and are not, but do lie.”
People like Dr. Barnett are either woefully ignorant about who these people are, or they are deceivers.

Dr. John Barnett of Discover the Book Ministries says that the antichrist and false prophet deceive many people.
Wow, what irony, as the explanations from Dr. Barnett are from the false prophet Jesuit Superior General, who was commissioned by the antichrist beast pope, to deflect blame away from the popes, as the Protestant Reformers proclaimed that the office of the papacy, the Popes of Rome, fulfill Bible prophecy as the ‘little horn’ of Daniel 7, the ‘son of perdition’ of 2 Thessalonians 2, and the ‘beast’ of Revelation 13, who leads the ‘harlot’ church of Rome.
Dr. Barnett’s explanations serve to deflect blame away from the black pope and white pope, who are the two leaders (horns) of the end-times earth-beast phase of the Roman beast kingdom which is described in Revelation 13:11-18.
They pretend to be priests of Messiah (like a lamb) but the really serve Satan (the dragon) to make war with Messiah and His saints.

Dr. John Barnett of Discover the Book Ministries mocks being prepared for the supposed 3 1/2 years of great tribulation.
Dr. Barnett says that withdrawing from society in order to prepare for tribulation is not good.
That is nonsense and it’s unscriptural! First of all, we’re not going to be magically raptured out, so we need to be prepared for times of trouble as the enemy makes war with mankind and seeks to push the world into their One World Government.
Only the Heavenly Father can protect us against calamity, but that doesn’t mean that we shouldn’t be prudent and be prepared to survive without depending on help in times of need. That’s a wise thing to do anyway, as weather can affect our ability to have power, water, food, etc.
In Genesis 41, we see that the Heavenly Father used Joseph to preserve food in the good years, in order to be prepared for the years of famine so that he could help many people including his family.
Proverbs 22:3 says “A prudent man foresees evil and hides himself, but the simple pass on and are punished.”
In Messiah’s Olivet Discourse, He gave His followers the sign of when they should flee Jerusalem to the mountains for safety, so that they wouldn’t be traumatized and killed during the Jewish-Roman War of 66-70 AD, when 1.1 million Jews died in and around Jerusalem from famine, pestilence, infighting, suicide, evisceration, crucifixion and by the Roman sword.
The enemy is going to crash the worldwide economy, which will prevent people from being able to buy and sell. We see that event on the near horizon.
Then the antichrist beast pope may offer a One World Government financial system, which would allow people to buy and sell again. If you revere (mark on forehead, thoughts) and obey (mark on right hand, actions) the antichrist beast pope, then you will have the mark of the beast on you. It’s prudent to be prepared so that you can provide for family and friends during times of trouble. The less you rely on the system for power, water, food, etc., the better off you will be. And you will be able to minister to others in their time of need.

Dr. John Barnett of Discover the Book Ministries teaches a false, futuristic fulfillment of the 70th week of Daniel 9, the Olivet Discourse and the prophecies in Revelation.
The 70th week of Daniel 9 is about Messiah’s ministry and His blood sacrifice as the Spotless Lamb to atone for our sins. It has nothing to do with the antichrist or the end times.
The Olivet Discourse foretold the events that would lead to the desolation of Jerusalem, the second temple and the Jewish nation; as punishment for the Jewish leaders continuing in rebellion against the Heavenly Father and for delivering His Son up to be killed. It has nothing to do with the antichrist or the end times.
Most of the prophecies in Revelation have been fulfilled in exacting detail during the last 1,900 years. It describes the historical narrative of the Satan-empowered leaders of the Roman beast kingdom (pagan Emperors > antichrist beast Popes > false prophet Jesuit Superior Generals) fighting against Messiah and His saints.
The explanations of Dr. John Barnett of Discover the Book Ministries serve to deflect blame away from the enemy in Rome, and to mislead the end-times saints so that they’re not prepared for how the end-times will play out, and don’t know the context of Messiah’s return.
