Revelation TV Who are the Two Witnesses mentioned in Revelation?

This Revelation Timeline Decoded post reviews a video by Revelation TV called Who are the Two Witnesses mentioned in Revelation?

Video description: Who are the Two Witnesses that are mentioned in the bible book of Revelation chapter eleven? And Why is it important to identify them? Names such as Enoch, Elijah, Moses and John the Baptist are often put forward in various combinations, also could these Two Witnesses who arrive on the scene at the beginning of The Great Tribulation be symbolic of two people groups; the Jewish People and the gentile Church which some theologians have suggested? Special guest appearance Pastor Derek Walker, co hosted by Dr. Hugh Jackman and hosted by Howard Conder.

Revelation TV says that Revelation is not an easy book to comprehend.

Revelation TV Who are the Two Witnesses mentioned in Revelation?Revelation prophecy fulfillment is fairly straight-forward. It’s all of the futuristic deceptions of the enemy that make it hard to see the truth of the fulfillment.

The enemy has programmed believers to look to the future for the fulfillment, as most prophecy teachers say that all of the Revelation seals, trumpets and bowls take place in the end-times. This is called futurism.

This is what Revelation TV is promoting, so they are either ignorant or they are deceivers.

Revelation TV points to two men as the two witnesses, who appear before Messiah returns.

The two witnesses are the Scriptures (the two olive trees) that provide oil for the Saints (the two lampstands). The Popes banned and burned the Scriptures, and caused tens of millions of saints to be killed during the Dark Ages.

The Popes were so relentless that in May 1514 they proclaimed that there were no witnesses left against them, that they were as good as dead. Then 3 1/2 years later, Martin Luther posted his 95 Thesis which sparked the Protestant Reformation and brought the saints back to life, so that they witnesses against the antichrist Popes again.

This matches Messiah’s declaration to the church era of Sardis, that they are dead, but then He gives them commands to carry out their work against the enemy.

Read Revelation 11 – The Two Witnesses

The Scriptures were translated from Latin into English and with the advent of the printing press, the ‘little book’ of Revelation 10, the printed Bible, was spread around the world.

Pastor Derek Walker has hundreds of books behind him, as to establish him as an expert.

Yet his false, futuristic explanations are off the mark! The Protestant Reformers and the great theologians of the 16th-20 centuries knew who the antichrist is and who the two witnesses are; yet Pastor Derek Walker is oblivious to their witness!

Revelation TV asks, what is the role of the two witnesses?

The role of the two witnesses is to testify against the antichrist beast Popes and their harlot church of Rome, to proclaim that they are teaching concepts which are contrary to Scripture. To proclaim that they are teaching a false Gospel of works through the sacraments and that Mary is the intercessor to the Father.

Sadly, ministries like Revelation TV serve to deflect blame away from the antichrist beast Popes and our calling to witness against them, and to witness to Catholics!

Pastor Derek Walker dismisses people who ‘spiritualize’ the two witnesses.

The same can be said of people who take Revelation only literally. Messiah used symbolizes to point to a literal fulfillment. If you just take Revelation symbolically, you will miss the fulfillment. If you only take it literally, you will miss the fulfillment.

Messiah said that the Scriptures testify (witness) about Him, and He said that His saints are His witnesses. It’s not spiritualizing the two witnesses to say that they are the Scriptures and the saints, it’s applying Messiah’s own definitions!

Read Revelation Is Symbolic And Literal

Pastor Derek Walker points to a rebuilt temple that God is going to build.

God is not going to rebuild a temple, for His Son already offered a one-time atonement for our sins.

The temple of Revelation is Messiah’s Ekklesia of saints, His church, as Messiah is the cornerstone, the disciples the foundation and the saints are the stones which make up the walls. This is the temple that is made without hands in which the Father dwells.

I pray that the publishers of Revelation TV find the truth about prophecy fulfillment, for they are declaring things which they will regret when they stand before Messiah.

Joel Richardson Revelation Session 26 Video Review

Messiah’s apocalyptic vision is a war manual, designed to hide the explanation from those who should not understand it. It uses symbolic words that are defined in the Old Testament to point to a literal fulfillment. If you read Revelation only from a literal perspective, the interpretation is hidden.

Understanding the vision is like taking a Biblical final exam. If you’ve read the whole Word, you will have seen the symbolism that Messiah uses and can apply it to the fulfillment.

If you read Revelation as one chronological narrative, the prophecies seem out of sequence. That’s because it has four chronological layers, each of which spans from when it was written until Messiah returns.

This book explains the prophecies of Revelation on a timeline to help you see how the four chronological layers interact with each other, so that you can comprehend the whole vision.

You will learn how to identify who fulfills the role of the son of perdition, the antichrist beast, the false prophet, and the harlot called ‘Mystery, Babylon the Great.’ You will understand the proper context of the seal, trumpet, and bowl judgments; the little book of Revelation 10, and the two witnesses of Revelation 11.

Whether you’re a novice at Bible prophecy or someone who has studied it extensively, I provide an explanation that is easy to understand yet has the depth of verse by verse explanations to provide you the evidence you need to prove it out.

  1. While I hold to all that you say about the Roman Catholic Church ad her place in history and prophecy, both secular and Biblical, I do differ at one point though. It says numerous times in Revelation that He is the same yesterday, today and forever. I see that all of the prophesies of Revelation hold to the same pattern. There WAS a manifestation, there IS a manifestation and THERE WILL YET BE a manifestation of all the different chapters of the “Little Book.” I was sealed in my forehead seven months ago, by Adonai. I woke up on June 1st with Yeshua no longer being an outside voice (AFter 36 years of following hard after him) to him being completely inside of my chest. I could hear his voice, I could feel his presence and I began to know him as the man that he is. His likes and dislikes and his personality. Much like his disciples knew him. The first thing I asked him was “why me?” He said, “Because you overcame your flesh.” While it was true I had been working on myself for four years previous, I had no idea I had succeeded. But I knew I had overcome the lust of the eye and the lust of the flesh and the pride of life. Being sealed in the forehead means that I now have intimate knowledge and understanding of Yehovah, Yeshua and the Ruach HaKodesh and their Kingdom. This came directly from the Spirit. And it is because of this that I offer the three levels of prophetic fufillment. You should read some of what I have written in the last seven months. All of it I wrote before I had ever heard of you.
