This Revelation Timeline Decoded post reviews a video by Lew White called ‘Who is the lawless one?’
Lew White says that the lawless one is being revealed to millions of people today, as he says that Jesus is the lawless one that the Apostle Paul foretold in 2 Thessalonians 2.
He bases this explanation on the concept that Messiah’s name is Yahusha and that under no other name can people be saved. He says, the Name YAHUSHA means “I am your Deliverer,” and no one can explain the meaning of any of the transformations men have invented such as IC-XC, IHS, IESV, IESOUS, JESUS, JEZUS (Polish), as these are also replacements.
Lew White says that the lawless one is not Yahusha; it’s the imposter the translators invented for public consumption.
Lew White’s explanation is a perversion of truth. I left the following comment on his YouTube video, to try to help him and others see truth.
The lawless one is pointing to the office of the papacy, the Popes of Rome, who cause Catholics to sin. They proclaim to lead Messiah’s church, but they teach a false gospel of works through the sacraments and that Mary is the intercessor, which leaves Catholics condemned in their sins.
They caused Catholics to murder during the Dark Ages and the Inquisition. They cause Catholics to make and bow to idols of Mary, the crucifix and the saints; and they removed the second commandment about idol worship from their list.
They cause Catholics to call them Holy Father, which Messiah warned about. They cause Catholics to make repetitive prayers using the rosary. They cause Catholics to pray to dead saints and revere their bones.
The Popes rose to power after the Western Roman Emperor office was ended in 467 AD, which had ‘retrained’ them from taking power. The Popes have already proclaimed to be God, to forgive sins and to provide salvation.
Lew White promptly deleted my comment.
Why would he do that? Is he just intolerant of views that disagree with his explanation? Or is he a wolf who is serving to deflect blame away from the antichrist beast Popes of Rome?
There are many false teachings that are associated with the name Jesus Christ, but that doesn’t make Jesus the man of sin.
To proclaim that people can only be saved using the Hebrew name Yahusha is the height of ignorance and arrogance!
That would mean that all of the saints during the last 1,900 years, who have been relentlessly persecuted by the Roman Emperors, antichrist beast Popes and Jesuits; were not saved, as they used the Greek transliteration of Messiah’s name, Iesous, or the English transliteration, Jesus.
It would mean that all of the Protestant Reformers, who played a huge role in the fulfillment of Revelation as they fought against the antichrist beast Popes, all used the wrong name and weren’t saved. It’s a ridiculous premise by Lew White!
The Greek name Iesous in the New Testament Scriptures, which became English Jesus, is based on the same Hebrew words as the Hebrew name that Lew White proclaims.
The office of the papacy, the Popes of Rome, fulfill Bible prophecy as the ‘little horn‘ of Daniel 7, the ‘son of perdition‘ of 2 Thessalonians 2, and the ‘antichrist beast’ of Revelation 13, who leads the ‘harlot‘ church of Rome.

What Lew White is proclaiming about the name Jesus is false and it serves to deflect blame away from the antichrist beast and false prophet.

As for the name Jesus, it’s based on the same Hebrew words as Messiah’s Hebrew name. Though Jesus is a valid English transliteration, it’s absurd to say that Messiah’s name has always been Jesus, as He is a Hebrew Israelite. Oh no I’m not him. Just thought of showing the article and to compare and contrast your articles. I’ve read and find your stuff pretty good and on point on many things, especially Rome. He does agree on Rome being the Harlot, in fact you two are the best sources of information regarding proper interpretation of the Bible. BUT… there are minor discrepancies between you two, and that is OK. I’m just on the path to truth, guided by the Holy Spirit. J did not exist I agree but was used equally with I (i). He explains that Paleo-Hebrew is NOT the same as modern-day Hebrew. Also, there was no such thing as the numerical system 0 – 9 back then, so 666 made no sense. John said it is the symbols, or marks. Not a mathematical value. I understand the Catholic deflection on the number, though and don’t correlate with his findings. Thanks and blessings!
