The John Barnett DTBM video description says: For just a moment turn back to Matthew 24:36, for Christ’s personal description of the Tribulation. The Judge Himself tells us exactly what the earth will be like just before He starts this cataclysmic, global holocaust. Christ’s description always amazes me when I think of the powder keg that surrounds us each day we live.
Right now the earth is one big ticking bomb of nuclear arsenals, biological and chemical warfare agents; of trained terrorists, of special forces, and soldiers; of nations bristling with unbelievable amounts of weaponry; and on top of all those external dangers we all face as humans the depletion of breathable clean air, of drinkable water supplies, of available food-producing land, and of energy sources. That is daily life as we know it: dangerous and depleting.
But in Matthew 24:36, as Jesus describes the Tribulation, He says that just before the global holocaust hits, the whole earth is going to be like one big party: A global time of peace, prosperity, safety, and enjoyment. Life will seem wonderful on earth.

He says that Satan is an angel of light and will fake time of piece.
John was given the Revelation in the 90-95 AD, and in Revelation 1:1 Messiah told him that these things would take place shortly.
The 1st Seal – The white horse represents the ‘conquering’ Roman Empire, from 98-117 AD, as under the reign of Emperor Trajan it was a time of its greatest expansion and their military conquests were celebrated by riding ‘white horses’ in their victory parades. Roman Emperors Nerva, Trajan, Hadrian, Antoninus Pius and Marcus Aurelius, were descendants of the Isle of Crete, who were famous bowmen, so the ‘bow‘ points directly at them. The ‘crown’ represents the laurel wreathes of victory that were worn by the Caesars after their armies had won a military battle.

The 2nd Seal – The Red horse represents a bloody time in the Roman Empire from 185-284 AD, as it went into a phase of revolution and civil war for 90 years, during which there were 32 emperors and 27 contenders for the throne.

The 3rd Seal – The Black horse represents a period of gloom and despair, as the Romans suffered under excessive taxes that were needed to pay for wars. The pricing for wheat and barley point to food scarcity from 222-235 AD.
Dr. John Barnett of DTBM says that the pale horse represents pestilence.
The 4th Seal – The Pale horse represents 1/4th of Romans dying from famine, plague, pestilence and violence, from 250-300 AD. The word ‘earth‘ is pointing to the Roman Empire as the ‘land’ of prophecy.
Dr. John Barnett of DTBM says that tribulation starts with god releasing these forces.
He’s pointing to a seven-year tribulation period. That concept is based on a futuristic 70th week of Daniel 9.
Any teacher who is basing their explanation of Revelation on the concept of a future 70th week of Daniel 9, the 7-year tribulation period, is misleading you. The false concept of a 7-year tribulation period is based on the 70-weeks of Daniel 9 prophecy.
The prophecy foretold when Messiah would appear to carry out His ministry, and when (in the middle of the 70th week) He would confirm the (everlasting) covenant (that was mentioned in Daniel 9:4) with His blood as the Passover Lamb, to atone for our sins. It’s not about the end times or the antichrist.

Dr. John Barnett of DTBM points to a one-man antichrist.
That is a false concept, which was created to deflect blame away from the Popes of Rome, as the office of the papacy fulfills Bible prophecy as the ‘little horn’ of Daniel 7, the ‘son of perdition’ of 2 Thessalonians 2, and the ‘antichrist beast’ of Revelation 13, who leads the ‘harlot’ church of Rome.

Dr. John Barnett of Discover the Book Ministries teaches a false, futuristic fulfillment of the 70th week of Daniel 9, the Olivet Discourse and the prophecies in Revelation.
The 70th week of Daniel 9 is about Messiah’s ministry and His blood sacrifice as the Spotless Lamb to atone for our sins. It has nothing to do with the antichrist or the end times.
The Olivet Discourse foretold the events that would lead to the desolation of Jerusalem, the second temple and the Jewish nation; as punishment for the Jewish leaders continuing in rebellion against the Heavenly Father and for delivering His Son up to be killed. It has nothing to do with the antichrist or the end times.
Most of the prophecies in Revelation have been fulfilled in exacting detail during the last 1,900 years. It describes the historical narrative of the Satan-empowered leaders of the Roman beast kingdom (pagan Emperors > antichrist beast Popes > false prophet Jesuit Superior Generals) fighting against Messiah and His saints.
The explanations of Dr. John Barnett of Discover the Book Ministries serve to deflect blame away from the enemy in Rome, and to mislead the end-times saints so that they’re not prepared for how the end-times will play out, and don’t know the context of Messiah’s return.

The easiest way for people to compare the truth of statements is to compare them toGod’s Word.
If it makes God’s Word a lie then it’s not true. God’s Word is the one and only truth in this world.
Our Father knows how to count. He’s the one that created counting. He counts all through the Word.
If He says that the 70th week is the 70th week, then it’s the 70th week… period! It comes after the 69th week.
For it to be a future week then it would be 300 + weeks as of now.
God is not a deceiver. He doesn’t need to deceive Satan to get passed him. Or to deceive anyone! He declares the end from the beginning.
He tells us what will happen and when it will happen so that we will know that it’s Him.
There is no future 7 week tribulation. We are currently in the last days and might not even have 7 years left.
Wake up people and get your heart right. The Day of the YHVH is coming soon, if not here already.

It’s amazing how effectively the enemy has been at misleading people about the 70th week of Daniel, when the simple explanation points to our beloved Messiah confirming the covenant mentioned in Daniel 9:4. I pray that the Spirit moves to show people truth, to cast down the enemy from power, for a great harvest in the end times!
