This Revelation Timeline Decoded post reviews a video by Joel Richardson of FAI STUDIOS, called ‘Who is the Bride and Where is the Wedding? // THE RAPTURE & ENDURANCE OF THE SAINTS’
Video description: MARANATHA Global Bible Study // The Rapture and the Endurance of the Saints. Episode 10: Who is the Bride and Where is the Wedding?
Before I begin my review of Joel Richardson’s explanations, let me declare that I do these type of reviews, not just to expose false teachers; but to show what they teach, which you may have also been taught, so that you can see the truth and the deception.
These reviews serve as an open rebuttal of their explanations. It’s not about me, it’s about the truth of prophecy fulfillment which reveals the glory of our beloved Messiah!
It’s great that Joel Richardson and Dalton Thomas feel the need to debunk the concept of a pretribulation rapture, but most of their explanations are based on the false, futuristic narrative of prophecy fulfillment.
The video starts with Matthew 24:8, all these are the beginning of birth pains, applying it to the end times.
The video shows dramatic scenes which show troubling events. But the Olivet Discourse is not about what takes place in the end times, so Joel Richardson is misleading people.
The context of Messiah’s Olivet Discourse is the desolation of the temple that He just came out of, in which He rebuked the Jewish leaders who were seeking to kill Him. He proclaimed that judgment would come upon them in that generation.
We know that within a generation, the Jewish-Roman War of 66-70 AD caused Jerusalem, the temple and the Jewish nation to be desolated. 1.1 million Jews died in and around Jerusalem from famine, pestilence, infighting, suicide, evisceration, crucifixion and by the Roman sword.
All of the things that Messiah described from Matthew 23:36 to Matthew 24:33 were fulfilled by 70 AD. The enemy has deceived people about the symbolism of the sun, moon, and stars being darkened; Messiah coming in power and glory; and the elect being gathered. But the Bible gives the proper definitions for the symbols.

Joel Richardson of FAI Studios says that he’s not a dispensationalist and that he holds to something called historical premillennialism.
Joel says that the term historical means that this is what the earliest Christians believed.
This explanation is very misleading, as Joel Richardson and Dalton Thomas are futurists, not historicists. And Joel’s explanations in this series serve to hide the historicist narrative.
He’s effectively hiding the historicist narrative of the saints through history of the last 1,900 years, who proclaimed that the prophecies in Revelation have been in the process of being fulfilled since it was written.

Joel Richardson of FAI Studios says that dispensationalists believe in a future 70th week and then says that he agrees with them.
That’s a really big disconnect! Dispensationalists are futurists. Joel is a futurist.
Any teacher who is basing their explanation of Revelation on the concept of a future 70th week of Daniel 9, the 7-year tribulation period, is misleading you. The false concept of a 7-year tribulation period is based on the 70-weeks of Daniel 9 prophecy.
The prophecy foretold when Messiah would appear to carry out His ministry, and when (in the middle of the 70th week) He would confirm the (everlasting) covenant (that was mentioned in Daniel 9:4) with His blood as the Passover Lamb, to atone for our sins. It’s not about the end times or the antichrist.

Joel Richardson of FAI Studios says that the story of prophecy fulfillment is fairly simple, and that dispensationalists make it confusing by overcomplicating it.
That’s ironic coming from Joel, who makes prophecy fulfillment overly complicated by:
Inserting a 2000 year time gap into the 490 years of the 70th week of Daniel 9 prophecy, despite the fact that the text doesn’t declare a gap. Read 70th Week Of Daniel 9 Decoded
Proclaiming that the prophecies in Messiah’s Olivet Discourse are fulfilled in the end times, despite Messiah’s clear declaration that all of the things that He described would take place in that generation of Jews, as punishment for delivering Him up to be killed. Read The Olivet Discourse Deception
Proclaiming that most of the prophecies in Revelation are fulfilled during the last 3 1/2 years, despite Messiah declaration in the first verse that “The Revelation of Jesus Christ, which God gave unto him, to shew unto his servants things which must shortly come to pass.” Read Revelation Fulfillment Timeline
Joel Richardson of FAI Studios says that the bride of Messiah is not the church, but Israel. He says that dispensationalists divide people into two groups, Jews and gentiles.
Joel understands that the Commonwealth of Israel is made up of believing Jews and Gentiles, but then he proclaims things like “All Israel will be saved.”
That statement doesn’t make sense! If Israel is made up of believers, then of course all Israel is saved. But that’s not what Joel means.
Joel accuses dispensationalists of having different people groups, but in him saying that “All Israel will be saved,” he is pointing to the unbelieving Jews who are in Israel.
This is hypocritical and double-minded!
In Romans 11, the Apostle Paul is not declaring that all Jews will be saved. In Romans 9, Paul had already declared that a true Israelite is one who has a covenant relationship with the Father through the Son.
In Romans 11, Paul is pointing to the coming desolation of the Jewish nation and telling the gentile believers not to gloat over it. And he told them that all of the believers in Jerusalem, the true Israelites, would be saved from that time of tribulation.
And this was fulfilled when Messiah’s disciples saw the sign of the abomination of desolation in November 66 AD, when Cestius and his army surrounded Jerusalem to take it captive, fulfilling Luke’s clear definition of the abomination of desolation in Luke 21:20-21.
When Cestius and his army left for no explained reason, the saints took the opportunity to flee to the mountains in Pella, in the Decapolis region east of the Jordan River. They they were protected from the time of trouble for the Jews during the Jewish-Roman War of 66-70 AD.
Joel Richardson of FAI Studios Points to a future seven years, a time of Jacob’s trouble, a time of great tribulation in Israel, when the Lord will wash his people to prepare for wedding.
First of all, the whole premise is flawed, as the 70th week of Daniel 9 was fulfilled on time and it’s not about an end-times 7-year tribulation period. Read 70th Week Of Daniel 9 Decoded
Secondly, the times of great tribulation that are mentioned in Daniel and Revelation have already been fulfilled. Read Times Of Great Tribulation In Daniel And Revelation
And once again Joel is giving a dispensationalist view, as he’s saying that the Heavenly Father will refine the Jews in Israel during a time of trouble, to prepare them for the wedding.
I pray that the Spirit moves in Jew’s lives in the end times to draw more into the kingdom, but Joel’s explanations are off-target.
Sadly, the prophecy fulfillment explanations of Joel Richardson and Dalton Thomas serve to hide proof of Messiah’s deity from the eyes of Jews, as Joel and Dalton hide the historical fulfillment of the 70th week of Daniel 9 which point to the exact year that Messiah died for our sins; the Olivet Discourse which pointed to the desolation of Jerusalem, the temple and the Jewish nation; and most of the prophecies in Messiah’s Apocalyptic vision during the last 1,900 years.
I pray that this posts helps wake you up, so that you can see how the enemy has deceived the end-times saints, for Messiah’s return draw nigh and you don’t want to be caught off-guard like the foolish virgins who don’t have the oil of Scriptural truth to light their way.
Joel Richardson and Dalton Thomas teach a futuristic fulfillment of the 70th week of Daniel 9, the Olivet Discourse and the prophecies in Revelation.
The 70th week of Daniel 9 is about Messiah’s ministry and His blood sacrifice as the Spotless Lamb to atone for our sins. It has nothing to do with the antichrist or the end times.
The Olivet Discourse foretold the events that would lead to the desolation of Jerusalem, the second temple and the Jewish nation; as punishment for the Jewish leaders continuing in rebellion against the Heavenly Father and for delivering His Son up to be killed. It has nothing to do with the antichrist or the end times.
Most of the prophecies in Revelation have been fulfilled in exacting detail during the last 1,900 years. It describes the historical narrative of the Satan-empowered leaders of the Roman beast kingdom (pagan Emperors > antichrist beast Popes > false prophet Jesuit Superior Generals) fighting against Messiah and His saints.
The explanations of Joel Richardson and Dalton Thomas serve to deflect blame away from the enemy in Rome, and to mislead the end-times saints so that they’re not prepared for how the end-times will play out, and don’t know the context of Messiah’s return.
