Episode 9: Not Appointed to Wrath?
Before I begin my review of Joel Richardson’s explanations, let me declare that I do these type of reviews, not just to expose false teachers; but to show what they teach, which you may have also been taught, so that you can see the truth and the deception.
These reviews serve as an open rebuttal of their explanations. It’s not about me, it’s about the truth of prophecy fulfillment which reveals the glory of our beloved Messiah!
It’s great that Joel Richardson and Dalton Thomas feel the need to debunk the concept of a pretribulation rapture, but most of their explanations are based on the false, futuristic narrative of prophecy fulfillment.
Joel Richardson of FAI Studios Points to pretribbers saying that the final seven years represents the wrath of God, therefore they will be raptured out beforehand.
The Rapture and the Endurance of the Saints video series from Joel Richardson is based on the false premise of a future 70th week of Daniel 9, which a deception from the enemy to fool the end times saints.
The 70th week of Daniel 9 prophecy foretold when Messiah would appear to carry out His multiyear ministry and when (in the middle of the 70th week) He would confirm the everlasting covenant (that was mentioned in Daniel 9:4) with His blood as the Passover Lamb, to atone for our sins. It’s not about the end times or the antichrist.

Joel Richardson of FAI Studios points to John the Baptist saying to the Jewish leaders, “who warned you to flee the wrath of god?” and applies it to eternal wrath.
Joel misapplies these prophetic words from John the Baptist as he’s declaring to the Jewish leaders that judgment is coming upon the unbelieving Jewish nation, which was foretold in Daniel 9:26 and Daniel 12.
Then said he to the multitude that came forth to be baptized of him, O generation of vipers, who hath warned you to flee from the wrath to come? Bring forth therefore fruits worthy of repentance, and begin not to say within yourselves, We have Abraham to our father: for I say unto you, That God is able of these stones to raise up children unto Abraham. And now also the axe is laid unto the root of the trees: every tree therefore which bringeth not forth good fruit is hewn down, and cast into the fire. Luke 3:7-9
This was fulfilled during the Jewish-Roman war of 66-70 AD, when Jerusalem, the temple and the unbelieving Jewish nation were destroyed; and 1.1 million Jews died in and around Jerusalem from famine, pestilence, infighting, suicide, evisceration, crucifixion and by the Roman sword.
The believing Jews heeded Messiah’s warnings in the Olivet Discourse and they escaped to the mountains of Pella in the Decapolis region, to be protected during the Jewish-Roman War of 66-70 AD.

Joel Richardson of FAI Studios says that in the middle of seven years of 70th week of Daniel 9, the antichrist will set up an idol in rebuilt temple, and then there will be 3 1/2 years of great tribulation.
Joel’s explanations of the fulfillment of the prophecies in Revelation are based on the false concept of a futuristic 70th week of Daniel 9.
Most of the prophecies in Revelation have already been fulfilled during the last 1,900 years, as the Satan-empowered leaders of the Roman beast kingdom have fought against Messiah and His saints. The pagan Roman Emperors tried to wipe out the early church, killing millions. The Roman Popes banned and burned the Scriptures and caused tens of millions of saints to be killed during the Dark Ages and the Inquisition. These are the things that Messiah is pointing to in His apocalyptic vision.

Joel Richardson of FAI Studios says that the saints are promised tribulation.
Indeed they are and we see that in the fulfillment of the prophecies of Revelation.
The fifth seal points to the martyrs who were killed by the Roman Empire during ten persecution periods from the first century until 312 AD. Their blood is crying out for the Father to avenge their deaths. Read Revelation 6 – 5th Seal Martyrs
This aligns with Messiah’s message to the Smyrna church martyrs as He said that they would have tribulation for ten days. This was fulfilled during ten prophetic years, from 303-312 AD, when Emperor Diocletian sought to wipe out Messiah’s Ekklesia of saints. Read Revelation 2-3 Seven Church Eras
We also see tribulation for the saints during the 1,260-year reign of power of the antichrist beast popes from 538-1798 AD, when tens of millions of saints were tortured and killed during the Dark Ages and Inquisition. Read 1,260 Years Of Great Tribulation
Joel Richardson of FAI Studios says that the wrath of God is not poured out until the bowl judgments.
Indeed, the wrath of the Heavenly Father is poured out in the bowl judgments, but Joel’s explanation is off-target.
The seal judgments were against the pagan Roman Empire which persecuted Messiah’s saints. The seals point to bloody civil wars (red horse), economic strife (black horse), famine, pestilence and death (pale horse) during the decline of the empire. Read Revelation 6 – 7 Seals Overview
The trumpet judgments point to barbarian armies being sent to attack the mighty Roman Empire, leading to the Western Roman Emperor being removed from power during the fourth trumpet judgment, and the Eastern Roman Emperor being removed from power during the sixth trumpet judgment, and the fall of the Roman Empire. The vial judgments are against Catholics who have the mark of the beast on them, as they revere (mark on forehead, thoughts) and obey (mark on right hand, actions) the antichrist beast pope. The first four vial judgments are against Catholics in France, Spain and other countries, as they obeyed the pope’s command to kill the saints. The wrath of the Father come upon them during the bloody French Revolution and Napoleonic Wars. The fifth vial points to the end of the 1260-year civil reign of the antichrist beast popes in 1798 AD. The false, futuristic explanations of Joel Richardson and Dalton Thomas serve to hide the truth of the historicist narrative of prophecy fulfillment.
Joel Richardson of FAI Studios cites the sixth seal of Revelation 6 and aligns it with Matthew 24:29, saying that it occurs after the tribulation.
In the Old Testament we see several examples of the symbolic language of the darkening of the sun, moon and stars, which point to a leadership system losing power. How does Joel Richardson not understand the clear symbolism that’s declared in the Bible?
Messiah’s Olivet Discourse is about the judgment of the unbelieving Jewish nation who rejected Him and delivered Him up to be killed. In that generation, in 70 AD, the high priest (sun), Sanhedrin (moon) and priests (stars) were either killed or taken captive, thus the Jewish leadership system was darkened. Read Sun, Moon And Stars

Joel Richardson of FAI Studios says that Revelation 6:16-17 is the wrath of the Lamb which is poured out on the wicked, on the earth after Jesus returns, by Him personally.
This is a bizarre statement and it’s nonsensical as the seal judgments were against the pagan Roman Empire.
In the video, Joel says that the rapture of the saints doesn’t take place until the seventh trumpet, so how would the sixth seal represent Messiah being on the earth pouring out wrath?
Joel Richardson of FAI Studios says that the saints will be delivered from the wrath because at the time they will be in their glorified, impervious, immortal, untouchable bodies.
This is another bizarre statement and it’s nonsensical because most of the prophecies in Revelation have already been fulfilled during the last 1,900 years, and we’re currently in the sixth vial judgment, waiting on a few more prophecies to be fulfilled before Messiah returns.

Joel Richardson of FAI Studios points to the wrath that’s mentioned in Revelation 14:9-10.
Joel mistakenly assigns Revelation 14 to the end times, but it’s about the harvest of souls during the Protestant Reformation, and about the bloody judgment of the Catholics who persecuted Messiah’s saints when the obeyed the orders of the antichrist beast pope.
There is not one period during which the mark of the beast is fulfilled. It primarily points to Catholics who revere and obey the antichrist beast pope as their leader.
Revelation 14 is pointing to Catholics revering and obeying the pope’s orders to kill the saints in France, Spain and other countries. Their judgment came during the first four bowl judgments.
Today, 1.3 billion Catholic have the mark of the beast on them and the false teachings of people like Joel Richardson and Dalton Thomas hide this truth and the need to proclaim the Scriptural Gospel to Catholics so that that they’re saved.
There’s an end-times fulfillment of the mark of the beast that affects the whole world, after a worldwide economic collapse when people won’t be able to buy and sell.

Joel Richardson of FAI Studios points to Revelation 17, that the harlot has a golden cup of her prostitution, mixed with the blood of the saints.
Joel is either woefully ignorant or a deceiver, as the Roman Catholic Church clearly fulfills this role.
She proclaims to be the one-true church of Messiah, but she teaches a false Gospel of works and that Mary is the intercessor to the Father, so she is anti-Christ.
She uses the golden cup during her blasphemous Eucharist ceremony which proclaims to sacrifice Messiah again for sins, which denies His one-time blood sacrifice for all sin.
She has been drunk with the blood of the saints, as they’ve tortured and killed tens of millions of Messiah’s saints during the Dark Ages and Inquisition.
The official colors of her Cardinals and Archbishops are purple and scarlet.
The judgment of the harlot Roman Catholic Church draws nigh, but the teachings of Joel Richardson and Dalton Thomas are deflecting blame away from Rome!
Revelation 18 describes her wealth and all of the money that she has spent building her thousands of ornate basilicas and to carry out her man-made sacraments.

Joel Richardson of FAI Studios points to the parable in Luke 19:27, about people who don’t want Messiah to rule over them and assigns it to the end times.
But those mine enemies, which would not that I should reign over them, bring hither, and slay them before me.
Messiah was proclaiming that parable against the unbelieving Jews who rejected Him and His kingdom, because it’s not the type of kingdom they desired.
In 70 AD, the Roman army flooded into Jerusalem and slayed hundreds of millions of Jews by the sword, fulfilling Messiah’s declaration.

Joel Richardson of FAI Studios points to the saints participating in the slaughter of our enemies.
Ephesians 6:12 tells us that we’re engaged in a spiritual battle, For we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high places.
I believe that the saints defeat our enemies by proclaiming the truth of prophecy fulfillment, to expose the deceptions of the antichrist beast pope and false prophet Jesuit Superior General, to cast them down from power, to set the captives free, for a glorious harvest of souls in the end times.
But the false, futuristic prophecy fulfillment explanations of Joel Richardson and Dalton Thomas hide this truth, and support the evil agenda of the enemy to deceive people.
Joel Richardson of FAI Studios believes that the rapture happens at the sounding of the seventh trumpet, the last trumpet.
Once again, Joel’s explanation is off-target, as we’re in the sixth vial right now, so Messiah didn’t return at the seventh trumpet.
The seventh trumpet leads to the seven vial judgments and Messiah will return when they are all fulfilled, at the end, which He proclaimed many times.
I pray that this posts helps wake you up, so that you can see how the enemy has deceived the end-times saints, for Messiah’s return draw nigh and you don’t want to be caught off-guard like the foolish virgins who don’t have the oil of Scriptural truth to light their way.
Joel Richardson and Dalton Thomas teach a futuristic fulfillment of the 70th week of Daniel 9, the Olivet Discourse and the prophecies in Revelation.
The 70th week of Daniel 9 is about Messiah’s ministry and His blood sacrifice as the Spotless Lamb to atone for our sins. It has nothing to do with the antichrist or the end times.
The Olivet Discourse foretold the events that would lead to the desolation of Jerusalem, the second temple and the Jewish nation; as punishment for the Jewish leaders continuing in rebellion against the Heavenly Father and for delivering His Son up to be killed. It has nothing to do with the antichrist or the end times.
Most of the prophecies in Revelation have been fulfilled in exacting detail during the last 1,900 years. It describes the historical narrative of the Satan-empowered leaders of the Roman beast kingdom (pagan Emperors > antichrist beast Popes > false prophet Jesuit Superior Generals) fighting against Messiah and His saints.
The explanations of Joel Richardson and Dalton Thomas serve to deflect blame away from the enemy in Rome, and to mislead the end-times saints so that they’re not prepared for how the end-times will play out, and don’t know the context of Messiah’s return.
