Revelation 12-13 are about the fourth beast kingdom of Daniel, the Roman beast kingdom. Revelation 12 describes the pagan Emperors who tried to wipe out Messiah’s early church, making its birth painful.
The Revelation 13 sea beast phase of the Roman beast kingdom describes the Popes of Rome rising to power over the sea of people of the ten kingdoms of the fallen Roman Empire. They reigned in power from 1260 years, from 538-1798, and banned and burned the Scriptures and persecuted the saints during the Dark Ages and Inquisition.
The Revelation 13 earth beast phase of the Roman beast kingdom describes the Jesuit General rising to power out of the earth (land) of the Vatican. The black pope and the white pope are the two horns, the two leaders, who pretend to be priests of Messiah (like a lamb) but really serve Satan (the dragon). They are pushing the world into their One World Government, to exalt their god Satan.

Dr. John Barnett of Discover the Book Ministries says that the Revelation 13:3 describes the antichrist coming back to life during a false resurrection.
Revelation 13:3 says, “And I saw one of his heads as it were wounded to death; and his deadly wound was healed: and all the world wondered after the beast.”
The head wound is to the office of the Western Roman Emperor, which was ended in 476 AD as part of the fourth trumpet judgment. Then the Popes rose to power over the Roman beast kingdom and took the title of ‘Pontifex Maximus’ healing the deadly head wound.

Dr. John Barnett of Discover the Book Ministries says that the antichrist has a sidekick, the false prophet.
John in Revelation 12-13 is describing the leaders of the fourth beast of Daniel, during three phases the Roman beast kingdom. He points to the Satan-empowered pagan Roman Emperors of Revelation 12; the sea beast phase of the (antichrist) beast Popes reigning in power for 1,260 years from 538-1798 AD; and the false prophet Jesuit Superior General who rose to power out of the land (earth, ge in the Greek) of the beast, the Vatican.
It is the Jesuit Superior General who was given authority in the 16th century, who lived in the land (earth) of the Vatican. It is the General who caused the first four bowl judgments to be poured out on countries which had banned the Jesuits. It is the General who used Napoleon to remove the Pope from power as part of the fifth bowl. The black pope has controlled the Vatican ever since, and he exercises his authority in front of the white pope.
Horns point to leaders. The earth beast phase of the Roman beast kingdom has two horns, the black pope and the white pope, the false prophet Jesuit Superior General and the antichrist beast Pope; who pretend to serve Messiah (lamb-like), but really serve Satan (the dragon).
The General in Rome controls the city-state corporation of the District of Columbia, and is using it to push the world into their One World Government.

The office of the papacy, the Popes of Rome, fulfill Bible prophecy as the ‘little horn’ of Daniel 7, the ‘son of perdition’ of 2 Thessalonians 2, and the ‘antichrist beast’ of Revelation 13, who leads the ‘harlot’ church of Rome.
The Popes rose to power out of the ten kingdoms of the fallen Roman Empire. They demanded that the ten kings bow down to their authority.

Dr. John Barnett of Discover the Book Ministries says that the antichrist focuses on being in place of Christ, not against.
The antichrist is one who comes in the place of Christ, who pretends to be his representative, but deceives people. That is what the Popes do as they proclaim to lead Messiah’s church but they teach a false Gospel and that Mary is the intercessor to the Father. They now deceive 1.3 billion Catholics.
The Popes take the title of the “Vicar of Christ” which means in place of Christ, which is antichrist. The Popes have already proclaimed to be God, to be Jesus Christ in the flesh, to forgive sins and to provide salvation; which is blasphemy.
The Popes have banned and burned the Scriptures, and caused tens of millions of saints to be killed during the Dark Ages and the Inquisition.

Dr. John Barnett of Discover the Book Ministries teaches a futuristic fulfillment of the 70th week of Daniel 9, the Olivet Discourse and the prophecies in Revelation.
DTBM has 287K YouTube subscribers, so they are misleading a lot of people.
The 70th week of Daniel 9 is about Messiah’s ministry and His blood sacrifice as the Spotless Lamb to atone for our sins. It has nothing to do with the antichrist or the end times.
The Olivet Discourse foretold the events that would lead to the desolation of Jerusalem, the second temple and the Jewish nation; as punishment for the Jewish leaders continuing in rebellion against the Heavenly Father and for delivering His Son up to be killed. It has nothing to do with the antichrist or the end times.
Most of the prophecies in Revelation have been fulfilled in exacting detail during the last 1,900 years. It describes the historical narrative of the Satan-empowered leaders of the Roman beast kingdom (pagan Emperors > antichrist beast Popes > false prophet Jesuit Superior Generals) fighting against Messiah and His saints.
The explanations of Dr. John Barnett of Discover the Book Ministries serve to deflect blame away from the enemy in Rome, and to mislead the end-times saints so that they’re not prepared for how the end-times will play out, and don’t know the context of Messiah’s return.

If one is studying the Bible, and specifically Bible prophecy, even though also following Dr. John Barnett, how can you not eventually see that what he is teaching is not aligned with what is written and described in Bible prophecy which is long-proven truth? How in the world can even Dr. John Barnett not eventually realize that what he is teaching is wrong and is a deception lead by satan? How does a supposed Christian and Bible scholar like Dr. John Barnett not see the real truth eventually on his own?

People like Dr. John Barnett have their minds programmed at places like Dallas Theological Seminary and they blindly trust their professors, so it’s hard for them to see another explanation. We’re blessed to have eyes to see! 🙂
