Dalton Thomas Revelation Video Description: MARANATHA Global Bible Study // The Book Of Revelation. Session 15: Emerging New World Order and the Coming World War – Dalton Thomas

Let me start by saying that the historical fulfillment of the 70th week of Daniel 9 from 27-34 AD, Messiah’s Olivet Discourse which describes events leading to the Jewish-Roman War of 66-70 AD, and most of prophecies in Revelation during the last 1,900 years; validates the authority of Scripture and the deity of Messiah. Dalton’s futuristic explanations serve to hide those proofs.

The Protestant Reformers and great theologians of the 16th-19th centuries all taught the historical fulfillment of prophecy. It’s only during the few centuries that the futuristic deceptions have taken hold as the enemy has deceived even the very elect.

The concept of a future 70th week of Daniel 9, in which a one-man antichrist appears and most of Revelation is fulfilled, is a deception from the enemy. I know that sounds crazy since most people teach these concepts, but the enemy has worked hard to mislead the end-times saints so that even the very elect are deceived. I pray that you will seek truth, not to defend a belief.

Please understand that I declare these things not because I think that I know it all, and I’m not saying that everything that Dalton Thomas teaches is false. He seems to be very sincere in his beliefs and His love for Messiah. What I’m showing is that what he teaches about prophecy fulfillment is false, because it’s based on the futuristic model that was created by the enemy to deceive the end-times saints.

I don’t proclaim this for my sake, because this isn’t about me. You can dismiss what I’m saying and defend your beliefs, but now you’re accountable and I’ve fulfilled my role as the watchman blowing the trumpet.

Dalton Thomas says that the seal judgments point to a New World Order that is to come.

The first seal is pointing primarily at Roman Emperor Trajan, who reigned from 98-117 AD and took the Empire to its height of power as they were ‘conquering’ nations. Trajan is of the line of Cretan Emperors who ruled after John wrote down the apocalyptic vision, fulfilling Messiah’s word in Revelation 1:1 and 1:3, that these things would begin to ‘take place shortly’ and that ‘the time is at hand.’

The five Cretan Emperors were not of Roman birth, but descendants of people of the Isle of Crete, who were famous bowmen. Emperor Nerva, who reigned from 96-98 AD, was the first Roman Emperor to not be of Roman lineage, which is a very significant point. These Cretan Emperors, Trajan in particular, are identified by Messiah as having a ‘bow‘ in their hand. There’s no arrow as the Romans used swords and spears. Trajan rode on a ‘white horse‘ and wore a ‘laurel wreath crown‘ during their military victory parades after they conquered nations.

Messiah was not proclaiming that the seals would be opened 1,900 years after Revelation was written down! Dalton is way off target with his explanations of the first seal of Revelation!

Dalton Thomas says that the seal judgments are end-time events.

He points to theologians who he says take events from Revelation and put them in history past. He says that “it is foolish and dangerous to take the events of Revelation and put it in the past and then wash your hands of it.” He says if you take information that was given for a specific time frame and put it in the past, then you’re washing your hands of the events. That makes no sense.

The very opposite is true, as he’s taking events that are pointing to specific times in the history of the Roman beast kingdom, and putting them into the future. He’s ignoring all of the tribulation that the saints endured from persecution from the pagan Roman Emperors and the antichrist beast Popes.

Dalton Thomas is ignoring the witness of the great theologians and that of Roman historian Edward Gibbon, who show how the seal judgments caused the decline of the Roman Empire through bloody civil wars (red horse), economic strife (black horse), famine, pestilence and death (pale horse).

Dalton Thomas says that because the seal judgments are all ‘eschatological,’ they are all future.

He’s making that statement based on the false association that all of Revelation is fulfilled during the end-times. But we can see how most of the prophecies in Revelation have been fulfilled during the last 1,900 years, as the Satan-empowered leaders of the Roman beast kingdom have made war with Messiah and His saints.

Dalton Thomas points to the rise of the one-man antichrist.

He is dogmatic that it is the antichrist on the white horse in the first seal. But he is wrong, as the first seal of Revelation has nothing to do with the antichrist or the end-times.

The office of the papacy, the Popes of Rome, fulfill Bible prophecy as the ‘little horn’ of Daniel 7, the ‘son of perdition’ of 2 Thessalonians 2, and the ‘antichrist beast’ of Revelation 13, who leads the ‘harlot’ church of Rome.

Dalton Thomas Revelation teachings effective deflect blame away from the antichrist beast Pope and the false prophet Jesuit Superior General. It was the Black Pope who caused the false futuristic explanations to be created in the 16th century to deflect blame away from the Popes as the Protestant Reformers all proclaimed the Pope to be the son of perdition and the antichrist.

Dalton Thomas says that the first seal is torn either at the beginning of the future 70th week of Daniel 9 or in the middle of the 70th week when the ‘abomination of desolation’ takes place.

Here is the crux of Dalton’s false Revelation fulfillment explanations! They are based on the concept of a futuristic 70th week of Daniel 9.

The false concept of a 7-year tribulation period is based on the 70-weeks of Daniel 9 prophecy. The prophecy foretold when Messiah would appear to carry out His ministry, and when (in the middle of the 70th week) He would confirm the (everlasting) covenant (that was mentioned in Daniel 9:4) with His blood as the Passover Lamb, to atone for our sins. It’s not about the end times or the antichrist.

Once you understand the fulfillment of the 70th week of Daniel 9 by Messiah, you know that the concept of Revelation being fulfilled during a supposed 7-year tribulation period is based on a faulty foundation. That’s why I wrote a book about the 70th week of Daniel 9 before I published a book about Revelation. Sadly, the enemy has deceived many with a false explanation of the 70th week of Daniel 9, which removes a powerful proof of the validity of Scripture and the deity of Messiah.

We’ll all stand before our Righteous Judge to account for what we believe and teach about the most important prophecy in the Bible. I pray that you will read the explanations in this book about the 70th week of Daniel, compare it to Scripture, and discern it for yourself.

As for the ‘abomination of desolation,’ Dalton is applying Messiah’s Olivet Discourse to the end times. With his focus on Jews, you would think that Dalton would understand that Matthew 24 is pointing to the desolation of Jerusalem, the second temple and the Jewish nation during the Jewish-Roman War of 66-70 AD, which took place in that generation just like Messiah declared!

The context of the ‘abomination of desolation‘ is Messiah declaring judgment on the Jewish leaders and the ‘desolation’ of the second temple; which took place in 70 A.D. It says when you see the abomination of desolation, then flee Judea, so it’s a sign that people in Judea saw. It’s not about the end times.

Luke 21:20-21 tells us what it was, an army surrounding Holy Jerusalem, which Josephus documented as taking place in November of 66 AD, when Cestius and his army came to Jerusalem to end the Jewish rebellion. Messiah’s saints in Judea saw the sign, and knew that they needed to take the first opportunity to flee to the mountains of Pella for safety.

That opportunity came when Cestius and his army left Jerusalem for no explained reason. Messiah’s saints urgently left Jerusalem like Messiah told them to, but the Jews stayed. Then three strong divisions of the Roman army were sent to Judea, which led to 1.1 million Jews dying in and around Jerusalem from famine, pestilence, infighting, suicide, crucifixion and by the Roman sword.

I explain the fulfillment of the Olivet Discourse in detail in my book.

Dalton Thomas points to the antichrist ruling for 3 1/2 years.

What he fails to understand is that the 1260 days is pointing to 1260 years. The antichrist beast Popes were given civil and ecclesiastic authority in 538 AD. They ruled for 1260 years, during which they made war with the saints, killing tens of millions of saints during the Dark Ages and Inquisition. And they they were removed from power as part of the fifth bowl judgment in 1798 AD.

Dalton Thomas says that the antichrist attacks Jerusalem.

That is true, as the antichrist beast Popes of Rome have attacked Holy Jerusalem, the saints.

The fulfillment of the 70th week of Daniel 9, the Olivet Discourse and Revelation validate the authority of Scripture and the deity of Messiah, but Dalton Thomas and Joel Richardson are effectively hiding those proofs with their false, futuristic prophecy fulfillment explanations.

    • Thank you for your encouragement! I get no satisfaction out of exposing people’s false teachings, but I’m called to teach the true fulfillment and expose the deceptions, so that the saints are prepared for our the end-times will play out, and ready for Messiah’s return. Keep learning and growing in The Way! David
