Revelation Timeline Decoded by David Nikao Wilcoxson - end times prophecy

On 01/14/21, I published my Revelation Timeline Decoded book.

Messiah’s apocalyptic vision is a war manual, designed to hide the explanation from those who should not understand it. It uses symbolic words that are defined in the Old Testament to point to a literal fulfillment. If you read Revelation only from a literal perspective, the interpretation is hidden.

Understanding the vision is like taking a Biblical final exam. If you’ve read the whole Word, you will have seen the symbolism that Messiah uses and can apply it to the fulfillment.

If you read Revelation as one chronological narrative, the prophecies seem out of sequence. That’s because it has four chronological layers, each of which spans from when it was written until Messiah returns.

This book explains the prophecies of Revelation on a timeline to help you see how the four chronological layers interact with each other, so that you can comprehend the whole vision.

You will learn how to identify who fulfills the role of the son of perdition, the antichrist beast, the false prophet, and the harlot called ‘Mystery, Babylon the Great.’ You will understand the proper context of the seal, trumpet, and bowl judgments; the little book of Revelation 10, and the two witnesses of Revelation 11.

Whether you’re a novice at Bible prophecy or someone who has studied it extensively, I provide an explanation that is easy to understand yet has the depth of verse by verse explanations to provide you the evidence you need to prove it out.

This video is about the events that the saints have faced during the last 1,900 years. The false, futuristic view of Revelation says that Messiah had nothing to say about these major events, and that the prophecies in Revelation are all fulfilled during the last few years.

This video is about Messiah foretelling major world events in His apocalyptic vision. He didn’t name them, but He used symbolic language to point to them taking place.

The most important thing to save and print out is the Revelation Timeline Decoded summary image.

Revelation Prophecy Summary Studies - Revelation Chart

This one page Revelation Chart summarizes the fulfillment of Revelation, showing the four chronological layers. Each layer gives a chronological explanation which spans from the first century until Messiah returns. When you overlay the layers on top of each other, you see how they interact, and you get the fulfillment story.

The bottom layer shows who is leading the Roman beast kingdom: pagan Emperors > antichrist beast Popes > false prophet Jesuit Superior Generals.

The 2nd layer shows the seven church eras. The 3rd layer shows the fulfillment of the seals, trumpets and bowls. The 4th layer shows the explanation of Revelation 17-19. It will help you visualize the fulfillment of Revelation. Be sure to print it in landscape mode.

Revelation prophecy fulfillment is fairly straight-forward.

It’s all of the futuristic deceptions of the enemy that make it hard to see the truth of the fulfillment.

The enemy has programmed believers to look to the future for the fulfillment, as most prophecy teachers say that all of the Revelation seals, trumpets and bowls take place in the end-times. This is called futurism.

The truth is that most of Revelation has been fulfilled during the last 1,900 years, since it was written. This is called historicism.

Revelation 1:1 says, “The Revelation of Jesus Christ, which God gave Him to show His servants–things which must shortly take place.”

And as you will learn, the first seal of Revelation was fulfilled shortly after John recorded the book of Revelation.

Revelation1:3 says, “Blessed is he that readeth, and they that hear the words of this prophecy, and keep those things which are written therein: for the time is at hand.”

You will be blessed as you learn the true fulfillment of the apocalyptic vision.

Ask yourself, what makes more sense?

That none of the Revelation prophecies would be fulfilled for 1,900+ years, and then all of them would be fulfilled during the final few years?

Or, that the Revelation prophecies would be fulfilled during the time from when they were written, until Messiah returns?

Doesn’t it make more sense that Revelation describes what Messiah’s saints would face during all of the years until Messiah returns?

Let me put it another way. If the futuristic view of prophecy is true, then that means that our Messiah had nothing to say to His Church about the following events which occurred during the last 1,900 years:

Satan using the Roman Empire to kill 10 million saints, in his attempt to wipe out the Early Church.

The fall of the mighty Roman Empire from civil war, disease, famine and financial collapse.

Roman Emperor Constantine and the Roman Bishops creating a new pagan religion of Christianity, the Roman Catechism, in the name of Jesus Christ.

Army after army attacking the great Roman Empire to desolate it, causing the last Roman Emperor to be removed from power in 476 A.D.

The rise of the Popes of Rome to power in the 6th century, who went on to relentlessly burn the Holy Scriptures and kill the saints during the Dark Ages and the Inquisition, during which over 50 million saints were killed.

The Popes of Rome proclaiming blasphemous things, such as they are God, that they forgive sins, that they control the whole world, and condemning saints as heretics.

The translation of the Scriptures into English, German, and other languages, after it had been hidden for so long in Latin by the Papal Church. And the advent of the printing press, which caused Bibles to spread around the world.

Martin Luther, a Catholic Monk, being led to read the Bible to see that the Papal Church was a false Church, a Harlot Church. He responded by posting his 95 Thesis, which sparked the Protestant Reformation, causing millions of people to be saved by faith, come out of the Catholic Church and form the Protestant Churches.

The rise of the Jesuit Order, which the Roman Catholic Church empowered, to counter the Reformation, to bring the Protestants back under their power.

The Spanish Inquisition and wholesale slaughter of the saints in France, by order of the Pope of Rome.

The French Revolution and Napoleonic Wars, which killed many Catholics, in countries which had previously killed the saints.

The time of the Great Awakening when missionaries traveled around the world spreading the Good News.

The Futuristic view tells you that Messiah had nothing to say to His Church which endured all of those things.

The Futuristic view tells you that Messiah had nothing to say to the 10 million who died at the hands of the Roman Empire, and nothing to say to the 50 million plus who died at the hands of the Roman Catholic Church.

I promise you that our Messiah did in fact speak of all of those things in the book of Revelation, not by name of course, but the events and the people groups were all described in clear detail, and history proves the fulfillment.

So my friend, you’re going to have to pray for discernment, because your programming, the things that you’ve been taught about the seals, the trumpets and the bowls… are going to interfere with your ability to understand what the Bible is really telling us.

I’m not asking you to be empty-minded, but you will need to be open-minded.
Seek to pursue truth, instead of defending what you’ve been led to believe.

The enemy has worked hard to deceive the end times Church, because the culmination of all that he has worked for to push the world into a New World Order, takes place in the last few years.

By causing you to look to a future fulfillment of prophecy, he has caused you to not understand who the enemy of Messiah and His Church really are.

Many Christians haven’t studied the scriptures to validate the meaning of prophecies,
so they have blindly trusted what Pastors have told them.

Friend, you’re going to stand before your Messiah some day and be accountable for knowing the true fulfillment.  Saying that your Pastors told you is not going to cut it.

The historic fulfillment of Messiah’s Revelation reveals the battle between Satan and his followers, warring against Messiah and His followers.

Right now, the enemy is prevailing, because most believers don’t even know who the real enemy is.

And most believers think that they will be raptured before the supposed 7-year tribulation period, so most don’t care.

This explains why Messiah called our Laodicean Church era, lukewarm, wretched, miserable, blind, naked and poor. 🙁

The enemy has infiltrated seminaries and caused them to teach a futuristic fulfillment of Revelation. This has blinded believers from seeing who Satan has empowered to war against them, so they are unable to fight back with the rod of iron, the Word of God.

Father, I pray that you wake the church up from her slumber, and that you anoint each visitor with eye salve to help them see the truth. I pray this for your honor and your glory. Amen!

I am sure you have had many such articles and videos to watch, but I wanted to forward this to you for reference anyway. There is a lot that is similar to your teaching, some different ways of explanation, and a difference on the earth beast of Revelation.
The video is long; I have to give it credit for including a lot of verses and being organized to make a clear presentation of the study.

Appreciate your writings, David, thank you

  2. I’m just starting to study your material but I recently went through 2 studies from verse by verse ministries Daniel and Revelation and it was different due to the historical references, cold you check it out and see what you think.
    Thanks, Sherry

    • Shalom Sherry 🙂 Pastor Stephen Armstrong appears to teach the concept of a futuristic 70th week of Daniel, the seven-year tribulation period, during which most of Revelation is fulfilled. This is all a false narrative that was created by the enemy in the 16th century, in order to deflect blame away from the Popes, as the Protestant Reformers were proclaiming that the office of the papacy, the Popes of Rome, fulfill Bible prophecy as the ‘little horn’ of Daniel 7, the ‘son of perdition’ of 2 Thessalonians 2, and the ‘antichrist beast’ of Revelation 13, who leads the ‘harlot’ church of Rome. You can read this summary study:

I would suggest that you start with the 70th week of Daniel 9 prophecy, to see the glorious fulfillment by Messiah, and to see the deception that’s based on it. You can get a free PDF copy of my The 70th Week Of Daniel 9 Decoded book @

I made a few videos about the 70th week of Daniel which you can watch on this playlist:

Then you will be better equipped to understand the fulfillment of the prophecies in Revelation.

      Blessings to you, David

  3. David,
Almost finished the book on Revelation. Great work! Using and studying the chart makes me think of the chiasms that are contained in the book of Revelation. I have studied the various chiasms that strongly support a historicist viewpoint, especially your and my view of the identity of the two witnesses in Chapter 11. Have you ever investigated the chiasms and how they might reinforce your chart and its layers?

    Thanks, Mike

    • Thank you for your comment Michael! I’ve studied the chiastic structure of the 70th week of Daniel 9 prophecy, but not Revelation. If you have a PDF of your teachings you can email it to me, david at christianitybeliefs dot org

      Thank you, David

      • David,
Mush of the best work I’ve seen on chiasms in Revelation are from Dr. Ellis Skofield. He is deceased now but was a prolific author about the threat of Islam. He saw the Two Witnesses as the Church and Messianic Jews. I believe your interpretation in your book better fits the scripture. Searching his name will bring up links to his various works. Searching Revelation chiasms will bring up many other views — there appears to be an overarching chiasm for the entire book as well as two separate chiasms (roughly the first 11 chapters and then one for the remaining chapters). Skofield demonstrates the two separate chiasms as he sees Revelation as two books within one with the second half a repeat of the first half but from a different perspective.

        • Thank you for your comment Michael! Chiastic structures are interesting. I’ve seen it in the 70 weeks of Daniel 9 prophecy. And I see it in Revelation 20, which I’m researching for a new book. Thanks for the references! Keep learning and growing in The Way! David

          • David,
I’m excited to see you are working on a book concerning Revelation 20. While reading your book on Revelation, I was looking ahead to see if you covered the 1,000 years. I am interested in whether you believe it is literal or symbolic.

          • Michael, all of Revelation has used symbols to point to a literal fulfillment, so I don’t see that Revelation 19-20 are any different. Most people point to a very literal fulfillment. I’m still doing research for the book. Keep learning and growing in The Way! David

  4. I followed you right up to the remark of the deadly wound being one of the Roman leaders. Can’t be. The deadly wound occurs much after that point. Revelation 13:2 says The dragon gave him his power, his throne, and great authority. This is when Pagan Rome handed power and authority over to papal Rome. Constantine and Justinian.
The deadly wound is the power of the Catholic Church/Pope being removed by France. The deadly wound was healed in 1929, by the signing of the Lateran treaty.

    • I understand your point Harry, but the mention of the head being ‘wounded to death’ and being healed, takes place at the beginning of the narrative of the sea beast, not in the middle or the end. It takes place before the Popes were given power by Satan and before the 42 months, the 1260-year reign of power of the antichrist beast Popes.

The office of the papacy has never ceased, thus there has never been a ‘deadly head wound.’ The office of the papacy ‘had the wound by the sword, and did live.’ It’s saying that the office of the papacy was removed from civil authority, which took place in 1798, so it was wounded by the sword. But the office did not stop and it lives on until Messiah captured the pope and false prophet.

The Lateran Treaty created the ‘image of the beast,’ making it seem like the pope has civil authority again, but it’s just an image as the false prophet Jesuit Superior General, the black pope, who controls the Roman beast kingdom in the end times.

This study summarizes the transition of the leaders of the Roman beast kingdom.

    • Abel, it teaches a futuristic 70th week of Daniel, which is wrong, as the 70th week points to Messiah’s first advent and death for our sins.

It teaches a futuristic Daniel 10-11, which is about the past kingdoms of Medo-Persia and Greece.

It teaches that Jerusalem is the harlot of Revelation 17, which is wrong, as Revelation 17-18 describe the Roman Catholic Church of the antichrist beast Popes.
