Revelation Timeline Decoded by David Nikao Wilcoxson - end times prophecy

On 01/14/21, I published my Revelation Timeline Decoded book.

Messiah’s apocalyptic vision is a war manual, designed to hide the explanation from those who should not understand it. It uses symbolic words that are defined in the Old Testament to point to a literal fulfillment. If you read Revelation only from a literal perspective, the interpretation is hidden.

Understanding the vision is like taking a Biblical final exam. If you’ve read the whole Word, you will have seen the symbolism that Messiah uses and can apply it to the fulfillment.

If you read Revelation as one chronological narrative, the prophecies seem out of sequence. That’s because it has four chronological layers, each of which spans from when it was written until Messiah returns.

This book explains the prophecies of Revelation on a timeline to help you see how the four chronological layers interact with each other, so that you can comprehend the whole vision.

You will learn how to identify who fulfills the role of the son of perdition, the antichrist beast, the false prophet, and the harlot called ‘Mystery, Babylon the Great.’ You will understand the proper context of the seal, trumpet, and bowl judgments; the little book of Revelation 10, and the two witnesses of Revelation 11.

Whether you’re a novice at Bible prophecy or someone who has studied it extensively, I provide an explanation that is easy to understand yet has the depth of verse by verse explanations to provide you the evidence you need to prove it out.

This video is about the events that the saints have faced during the last 1,900 years. The false, futuristic view of Revelation says that Messiah had nothing to say about these major events, and that the prophecies in Revelation are all fulfilled during the last few years.

This video is about Messiah foretelling major world events in His apocalyptic vision. He didn’t name them, but He used symbolic language to point to them taking place.

The most important thing to save and print out is the Revelation Timeline Decoded summary image.

Revelation Prophecy Summary Studies - Revelation Chart

This one page Revelation Chart summarizes the fulfillment of Revelation, showing the four chronological layers. Each layer gives a chronological explanation which spans from the first century until Messiah returns. When you overlay the layers on top of each other, you see how they interact, and you get the fulfillment story.

The bottom layer shows who is leading the Roman beast kingdom: pagan Emperors > antichrist beast Popes > false prophet Jesuit Superior Generals.

The 2nd layer shows the seven church eras. The 3rd layer shows the fulfillment of the seals, trumpets and bowls. The 4th layer shows the explanation of Revelation 17-19. It will help you visualize the fulfillment of Revelation. Be sure to print it in landscape mode.

Revelation prophecy fulfillment is fairly straight-forward.

It’s all of the futuristic deceptions of the enemy that make it hard to see the truth of the fulfillment.

The enemy has programmed believers to look to the future for the fulfillment, as most prophecy teachers say that all of the Revelation seals, trumpets and bowls take place in the end-times. This is called futurism.

The truth is that most of Revelation has been fulfilled during the last 1,900 years, since it was written. This is called historicism.

Revelation 1:1 says, “The Revelation of Jesus Christ, which God gave Him to show His servants–things which must shortly take place.”

And as you will learn, the first seal of Revelation was fulfilled shortly after John recorded the book of Revelation.

Revelation1:3 says, “Blessed is he that readeth, and they that hear the words of this prophecy, and keep those things which are written therein: for the time is at hand.”

You will be blessed as you learn the true fulfillment of the apocalyptic vision.

Ask yourself, what makes more sense?

That none of the Revelation prophecies would be fulfilled for 1,900+ years, and then all of them would be fulfilled during the final few years?

Or, that the Revelation prophecies would be fulfilled during the time from when they were written, until Messiah returns?

Doesn’t it make more sense that Revelation describes what Messiah’s saints would face during all of the years until Messiah returns?

Let me put it another way. If the futuristic view of prophecy is true, then that means that our Messiah had nothing to say to His Church about the following events which occurred during the last 1,900 years:

Satan using the Roman Empire to kill 10 million saints, in his attempt to wipe out the Early Church.

The fall of the mighty Roman Empire from civil war, disease, famine and financial collapse.

Roman Emperor Constantine and the Roman Bishops creating a new pagan religion of Christianity, the Roman Catechism, in the name of Jesus Christ.

Army after army attacking the great Roman Empire to desolate it, causing the last Roman Emperor to be removed from power in 476 A.D.

The rise of the Popes of Rome to power in the 6th century, who went on to relentlessly burn the Holy Scriptures and kill the saints during the Dark Ages and the Inquisition, during which over 50 million saints were killed.

The Popes of Rome proclaiming blasphemous things, such as they are God, that they forgive sins, that they control the whole world, and condemning saints as heretics.

The translation of the Scriptures into English, German, and other languages, after it had been hidden for so long in Latin by the Papal Church. And the advent of the printing press, which caused Bibles to spread around the world.

Martin Luther, a Catholic Monk, being led to read the Bible to see that the Papal Church was a false Church, a Harlot Church. He responded by posting his 95 Thesis, which sparked the Protestant Reformation, causing millions of people to be saved by faith, come out of the Catholic Church and form the Protestant Churches.

The rise of the Jesuit Order, which the Roman Catholic Church empowered, to counter the Reformation, to bring the Protestants back under their power.

The Spanish Inquisition and wholesale slaughter of the saints in France, by order of the Pope of Rome.

The French Revolution and Napoleonic Wars, which killed many Catholics, in countries which had previously killed the saints.

The time of the Great Awakening when missionaries traveled around the world spreading the Good News.

The Futuristic view tells you that Messiah had nothing to say to His Church which endured all of those things.

The Futuristic view tells you that Messiah had nothing to say to the 10 million who died at the hands of the Roman Empire, and nothing to say to the 50 million plus who died at the hands of the Roman Catholic Church.

I promise you that our Messiah did in fact speak of all of those things in the book of Revelation, not by name of course, but the events and the people groups were all described in clear detail, and history proves the fulfillment.

So my friend, you’re going to have to pray for discernment, because your programming, the things that you’ve been taught about the seals, the trumpets and the bowls… are going to interfere with your ability to understand what the Bible is really telling us.

I’m not asking you to be empty-minded, but you will need to be open-minded.
Seek to pursue truth, instead of defending what you’ve been led to believe.

The enemy has worked hard to deceive the end times Church, because the culmination of all that he has worked for to push the world into a New World Order, takes place in the last few years.

By causing you to look to a future fulfillment of prophecy, he has caused you to not understand who the enemy of Messiah and His Church really are.

Many Christians haven’t studied the scriptures to validate the meaning of prophecies,
so they have blindly trusted what Pastors have told them.

Friend, you’re going to stand before your Messiah some day and be accountable for knowing the true fulfillment.  Saying that your Pastors told you is not going to cut it.

The historic fulfillment of Messiah’s Revelation reveals the battle between Satan and his followers, warring against Messiah and His followers.

Right now, the enemy is prevailing, because most believers don’t even know who the real enemy is.

And most believers think that they will be raptured before the supposed 7-year tribulation period, so most don’t care.

This explains why Messiah called our Laodicean Church era, lukewarm, wretched, miserable, blind, naked and poor. 🙁

The enemy has infiltrated seminaries and caused them to teach a futuristic fulfillment of Revelation. This has blinded believers from seeing who Satan has empowered to war against them, so they are unable to fight back with the rod of iron, the Word of God.

Father, I pray that you wake the church up from her slumber, and that you anoint each visitor with eye salve to help them see the truth. I pray this for your honor and your glory. Amen!

  1. I believe the Lord lead me to your content. The book of Revelation totally makes sense to me now & I think your timeline is accurate. I’m grateful for stumbling here. We’re actually closer to the end than I originally thought & I pray that this information reaches more people who are yearning to understand the times were in.

    • Thank you for your comment Kendall! Sorry for the slow reply. I pray for people like you who are searching for truth. Yeah, there’s not much left to be fulfilled before Messiah returns. I pray that the Spirit moves in a mighty way in these last days, to show people the truth about the fulfillment of prophecy, and to expose the deceptions of the enemy. We’re blessed to live in an epic time! Keep learning and growing in The Way! David

  2. Just finished your book.
    Spot on!
It “rings-true” and coordinates very well with other sites I have been studying.
I would suggest that WWIII is currently starting and “good” is making headway to prevent the “one world order”….
Reference for some good info and an expose on the “freemason” satinists.

    • Thank you for your comment Walt! I love hearing from people who the Spirit has shown the same truths! I’ll check out the website, thank you!

  3. David,
I just purchased your three books and have started the study on Daniel’s 70th Week. I have spent some time on your website and that is what led me to get the books. I followed a very similar path as yours to a Historicist viewpoint. I was stuck for some time with amillennialism but always came back that the Historicist position was the most aligned with the truth. I have spent a huge amount of time over the last three or so years originally with the intent, like you, to write a book on these same major topics along with a discussion of the “real” Israel. That effort remains as yet incomplete. In researching that effort, I ran across an interesting writeup called “The 13th Enumeration” by William Struse. In it he takes the genealogy from Matthew and uses that to build a case that the 70th Week of Daniel must be consecutive to the first 69. It is also interesting in that Mr. Struse claims to be a premillennialist and after disproving an underlying tenet of premillennialism questions whether the premillennialist viewpoint might have other flaws. I believe you will find Mr. Stuse’s commentary complicated but interesting.

    • Thank you for sharing your story Michael! That’s awesome that the Spirit has guided your path to see the Historicist narrative of prophecy fulfillment! I’m still doing research on Revelation 19-22, which hopefully will result in a future book. I’ll check out the book by William Struse, thank you Keep learning and growing in The Way! David

      • David,
I have finished reading the 70 Weeks book and about half way through the Olivet Discourse book. One major point that I have seen in some of your other writings on this website deals with the “dual fulfillment” argument that premillennialists use to justify Matthew 24 as depicting a future 7-year tribulation period and an antichrist, etc. I can find, in other sources, support for that position but very little that refutes the dual fulfillment theory. Many use several references from the Old Testament to prove the point. I haven’t yet seen anything in your Olivet Discourse book that directly addresses that. I believe it is a significant issue. Can you point me in a direction that is helpful in understanding this? I, like you, do not believe in dual fulfillment. Thanks! Mike

        • Michael, that’s great that you’re reading through the Bible Prophecy Decoded book series! Those who teach a dual fulfillment of prophecy promote the futuristic explanations of the 70th week of Daniel. We know that the 70th week of Daniel 9 was fulfilled on time and it’s not future, so their dual fulfillment theory is invalid as it’s based on a false premise.

Most don’t proclaim that the prophecies in Messiah’s Olivet Discourse have been fulfilled, so I don’t see explanations of dual fulfillment.

When you read the Revelation Timeline Decoded book, you’ll see the historical fulfillment of most of Revelation; which again proves that there’s not a dual fulfillment.

The bottom line is that their futuristic explanations are all based on a false premise, and the prophecies won’t be fulfilled in the future, so there’s no actual dual fulfillment; just one in their minds.

That said, the enemy will do things to mimic the fulfillment of their false, futuristic explanations, but it’s all a faux narrative.

          I hope that helps, David

          • Thanks, David. I have seen some premillennialists admit that Matthew 24 has been fulfilled with the destruction of the temple in AD70 as that is so plainly obvious but then insist that it is a blueprint for the tribulation period, rapture, antichrist, third temple, etc. as a second fulfillment.

  4. It is important to keep in mind that the three woes are linked to the last three Trumpets.

    Revelation 8:13 KJVS
[13] And I beheld, and heard an angel flying through the midst of heaven, saying with a loud voice, Woe, woe, woe, to the inhabiters of the earth by reason of the other voices of the trumpet of the three angels, which are yet to sound!

The above verse establishes a linear chronology throughout the 8th-12th chapters of Revelation based on when these three woes transpire within the narrative. The third woe is when Satan is cast down to earth, Rev 12:12

    • Luke, I agree that the three woes are linked to the last three trumpets, but Revelation 12 is not part of the same timeline. Revelation has four chronological layers. Revelation 12-13 describe the leaders of the three phases of the Roman beast kingdom, which span from the first century until Messiah returns.

Satan being cast down in Revelation 12 points to him losing power over the pagan Roman Empire as it was declining from the seal judgments and falling from the trumpet judgments.

The seals, trumpets and bowls describe a different layer; so Revelation 6-11, 14-16 gives the narrative of that layer.

This study explains the four chronological layers of Revelation:

  5. David, thank you so much for opening my eyes to see the truth. It came at a time when I needed to hear the truth. I have read all three books of the 70th week series. I feel closer to Yah and very comforted in my knowledge of His word. I hope you continue to research and share your gift of writing and exposing the truth. God bless you.

    • Thank you for your comment Patrick. I pray for people like you who are seeking the truth of prophecy fulfillment. I was in that place about ten years ago and have been blessed to have been shown the glorious fulfillment of the 70th week of Daniel, the Olivet Discourse and Revelation. My mindset is that I’m called to share what I’ve been shown with others. All praise goes to our Heavenly Father, beloved Messiah and the Spirit of Truth who guides us! Keep learning and growing in The Way! David
