This is known as futurism. It’s based on the concept of a futuristic 70th week of Daniel 9, which is a faulty foundation.
Any teacher who is basing their explanation of Revelation on the concept of a future 70th week of Daniel 9, the 7-year tribulation period, is misleading you. The false concept of a 7-year tribulation period is based on the 70-weeks of Daniel 9 prophecy.
The prophecy foretold when Messiah would appear to carry out His ministry, and when (in the middle of the 70th week) He would confirm the (everlasting) covenant (that was mentioned in Daniel 9:4) with His blood as the Passover Lamb, to atone for our sins. It’s not about the end times or the antichrist.

Dr. John Barnett of DTBM is misleading people by proclaiming that most of Revelation is yet to be fulfilled.
The truth is that most of its been fulfilled during the last 1,900 years, as Messiah was foretelling what His saints would face from when it was written until He returns. The enemy has hidden this information to deceive the end-times saints.

Dr. John Barnett of Discover the Book Ministries teaches a false, futuristic fulfillment of the 70th week of Daniel 9, the Olivet Discourse and the prophecies in Revelation.
The 70th week of Daniel 9 is about Messiah’s ministry and His blood sacrifice as the Spotless Lamb to atone for our sins. It has nothing to do with the antichrist or the end times.
The Olivet Discourse foretold the events that would lead to the desolation of Jerusalem, the second temple and the Jewish nation; as punishment for the Jewish leaders continuing in rebellion against the Heavenly Father and for delivering His Son up to be killed. It has nothing to do with the antichrist or the end times.
Most of the prophecies in Revelation have been fulfilled in exacting detail during the last 1,900 years. It describes the historical narrative of the Satan-empowered leaders of the Roman beast kingdom (pagan Emperors > antichrist beast Popes > false prophet Jesuit Superior Generals) fighting against Messiah and His saints.
The explanations of Dr. John Barnett of Discover the Book Ministries serve to deflect blame away from the enemy in Rome, and to mislead the end-times saints so that they’re not prepared for how the end-times will play out, and don’t know the context of Messiah’s return.

In Re: False Preachers and Bible Teachers (Dr. John Barnett and others)
As believers and followers of Jesus Christ, our Messiah, we are not only called to protest against the antichrist beast popes of Rome and their false prophet generals, we are also called to reprove and expose the deception of false, phony, downright doers of inquity behind the pulpits of America and so-called teachers of the inspired Word of our Heavenly Father God.
I’ve said it before. I’ll say it again. GET OUT OF THE CHURCHES NOW! They ALL serve Rome whether they know it or not. This includes Pastor Chuck Baldwin in Montana who continues to promote Jesuit Coadjutors Ron Paul (and others) and NEVER mentions the fact that Satan’s Jesuit Papacy is behind it all. This too is ecumenism because in every message I have heard Chuck Baldwin preach compromises the gospel and truth in order to elevate and replace the Gospel with the Constitution and Bill of Rights. The Constitution of the US and its founders are Pastor Baldwin’s Bible. This is as much idolatry as anything else in that it places once again man at the forefront instead of our Heavenly Father, through our Messiah, Jesus Christ.
You know when Pastor Baldwin is not teaching the whole truth when he can endlessly preach and teach about the (fake Khazar) Jews and not talk about who really controls and enriches them – the Jesuit-led Vatican. It really is that simple but Baldwin won’t touch the subject. This is exactly what the Jesuits want Baldwin to do – deflect blame away from the antichrist harlot church of Rome and put the focus on the JOOOOOOOS!
Pastor Baldwin is a politician 1st (research his history) and a pastor second. It can’t be any more obvious now.
My opinion based on Baldwin’s actions and inactions is that he is running interference so he can protect the Jesuit puppets and freemasonic ties and connections he too associated / associates with such as papists Ron Paul, Jerry Falwell, Ronald Reagan and the founders and financiers (the Carroll family) of the USA. Revealing the truth about these men and others take you right back to Rome and the Papacy, period.
I encourage everyone who may read this to do your own research and read Wilcoxson’s books and SCRIPTURE. The Word of God has all the answers. Daniel, Paul and John knew who the antichrist was, IS TODAY, and will forever be – the Office of the Papacy – who uses anyone (fake Jews, non-Catholics, Catholics, deceived Christians, Muslims et al) for its antichrist earthly kingdom.
Get out of the churches and away from organized religion!
To date, I have not found one 501c3 church or non-501c3 church that doesn’t have its hand in futurism or ecumenism in some way, shape or form. Pastors are supposed to be students of the Bible and history. They have no excuse! They either KNOW the truth or they don’t want to know the truth.
Do you know what’s worse than Barnett? A pastor like Baldwin who KNOWS and teaches against the fallacy of futurism but then stops short of its origin so that you don’t have a clue who birthed it (Jesuits) and who is preparing the world to accept a false Messiah. Darby / Scofield didn’t birth futurism. They advanced it.
