This Revelation Timeline Decoded post features a video from Dr. John Barnett of Discover the Book Ministries DTBM, called JESUS WAS A PESSIMIST ABOUT FUTURE DECEPTIONS, THE COMING WORLD LEADER & GLOBAL PROBLEMS.
Video description: Jesus spends the last part of the Wednesday of Passion Week teaching the disciples, and by virtue of inspiration, us, about the False King who was coming and who would be received by the world. The coming False King, or the Antichrist, is central to the long and final message Jesus gave that afternoon. The same message we see here in Matthew 24, is also in Mark 13, Luke 21, and Revelation 6-19.

That’s ironic, as it’s the Jesuits who created the false, futuristic prophecy fulfillment explanations that Dr. John Barnett teaches!
In the 16th century, the Pope empowered Ignatius Loyola and his Jesuit army to counter the Protestant Reformers, who all proclaimed that the office of the papacy, the Popes of Rome, fulfill Bible prophecy as the ‘little horn’ of Daniel 7, the ‘son of perdition’ of 2 Thessalonians 2, and the ‘beast’ of Revelation 13, who leads the ‘harlot’ church of Rome.
They based the futurism deception on the concept of the 70th week of Daniel 9 being an end-times seven-year tribulation period, that features a one-man antichrist; and that most of the prophecies in Revelation are fulfilled during the last 3 1/2 years of great tribulation. This is all a false narrative which has fool most of the end-times saints. Pastors like Dr. John Barnett are either woefully ignorant or a wolf in sheep’s clothing.

This is a false narrative to serves to deflect blame away from the office of the papacy, the popes of Rome!
The antichrist is one who comes in the place of Christ, who pretends to be his representative, but deceives people. That is what the Popes do as they proclaim to lead Messiah’s church but they teach a false Gospel and that Mary is the intercessor to the Father. They now deceive 1.3 billion Catholics.
The Popes take the title of the “Vicar of Christ” which means in place of Christ, which is antichrist. The Popes have already proclaimed to be God, to be Jesus Christ in the flesh, to forgive sins and to provide salvation; which is blasphemy.
The Popes have banned and burned the Scriptures, and caused tens of millions of saints to be killed during the Dark Ages and the Inquisition.

Dr. John Barnett of DTBM says that Matthew 24 is about the end times and Messiah’s return.
He says that Matthew 24, Mark 13, Luke 21 and Revelation 6-19 are telling the same story. This is a false association.
The context of Messiah’s Olivet Discourse is the desolation of the temple that He just came out of, in which He rebuked the Jewish leaders who were seeking to kill Him. He proclaimed that judgment would come upon them in that generation.
We know that within a generation, the Jewish-Roman War of 66-70 AD caused Jerusalem, the temple and the Jewish nation to be desolated. 1.1 million Jews died in and around Jerusalem from famine, pestilence, infighting, suicide, evisceration, crucifixion and by the Roman sword.
All of the things that Messiah described from Matthew 23:36 to Matthew 24:33 were fulfilled by 70 AD. The enemy has deceived people about the symbolism of the sun, moon, and stars being darkened; Messiah coming in power and glory; and the elect being gathered. But the Bible gives the proper definitions for the symbols.

The abomination of desolation is defined in Luke 21:20-21, “And when ye shall see Jerusalem compassed with armies, then know that the desolation thereof is nigh. Then let them which are in Judea flee to the mountains.“
Josephus says that in the fall of 66 AD, Cestius and his army surrounded the temple and were ready to capture Jerusalem, and then suddenly they left for no explained reason. The Jewish rebels chased after the Romans, which gave the saints the opportunity to flee Jerusalem.

Dr. John Barnett of Discover the Book Ministries teaches a false, futuristic fulfillment of the 70th week of Daniel 9, the Olivet Discourse and the prophecies in Revelation.
The 70th week of Daniel 9 is about Messiah’s ministry and His blood sacrifice as the Spotless Lamb to atone for our sins. It has nothing to do with the antichrist or the end times.
The Olivet Discourse foretold the events that would lead to the desolation of Jerusalem, the second temple and the Jewish nation; as punishment for the Jewish leaders continuing in rebellion against the Heavenly Father and for delivering His Son up to be killed. It has nothing to do with the antichrist or the end times.
Most of the prophecies in Revelation have been fulfilled in exacting detail during the last 1,900 years. It describes the historical narrative of the Satan-empowered leaders of the Roman beast kingdom (pagan Emperors > antichrist beast Popes > false prophet Jesuit Superior Generals) fighting against Messiah and His saints.
The explanations of Dr. John Barnett of Discover the Book Ministries serve to deflect blame away from the enemy in Rome, and to mislead the end-times saints so that they’re not prepared for how the end-times will play out, and don’t know the context of Messiah’s return.

Thank you for highlighting the wolves in sheep’s clothing among these so-called pastors. They are not ignorant!
I am in the beginning of The Olivet Discourse Decoded book. Wow! The 1st chapter alone reveals just how real Daniel’s 70th week prophecy and Jesus the Messiah’s Olivet Discourse concerning the judgment of the Jewish nation (and ministry, sacrifice, and resurrection) line up with Scripture, history, and prophecy.
I want people to know that there is a remnant out there that know the truth about Biblical prophecy and the Papacy and the Jesuit leadership of the Roman [Catholic] Empire. This is why I believe the enemy will use people like Pastor John Barnett and Pastor Chuck Baldwin to deflect away from Rome. Pastor Baldwin is a history buff. He knows exactly what he’s doing and it’s deceptive. Idols aren’t just statutes. They are man-made, worldly obsessions and possessions. All you have to do is listen and watch what Baldwin does (sermons, writings/columns, interviews, Catholic/Jesuit associates) – his continued deflection away from Rome (Papacy) and his focus on the Jews. This is exactly what the Jesuits love! To deflect away from Rome’s Jesuits and Superior Generals.
It will appear that these Pastors are true and sound but they are indeed wolves by their very own omissions and deflections away from the 4th and final beast of Rome (until Jesus returns) and the Jesuits that empower the Papacy.
Like I said, GET OUT OF THE CHURCHES – ALL OF THEM! Meet with family and friends and study the Bible. Pray. Repent. Share the Gospel.
Every church I know (501c3 or non-501c3) serves Rome (directly or indirectly). Theses pastors (like Baldwin and others) are also ecumenical. It is sad but they will answer to GOD f Heaven for their deceptions and compromises and dancing with the enemy.
Everyone, do your own research. You will know them by their fruit. Test them against the Scriptures.

Yeah, the 70th week of Daniel 9 and the Olivet Discourse are directly connected. In the 70th week, Messiah carried out His ministry and confirmed the covenant to atone for our sins.
And in the 70th week, the Jewish leaders continually sought to kill Messiah, leading to the abomination of delivering Him up to be crucified. And their punishment came within a generation, during the Jewish-Roman War of 66-70 AD.
I agree about churches. I’ve learned more during the last ten years of my own Bible study, than I did in forty years of going to church. Pastors are going to be held to account for their false teachings and how they failed to warn the saints about what’s taking place in this world.
Beautifully said and simply the Truth.
What I’ve come to realize is that all of these 21st century pastors (and 20th century) are still holding on to this world:
man-made traditions, man-made freedoms and liberties (all relative to the Godless tyrants in charge anyway); doctrines, be it liberty and freedom in a man-made Constitution instead of liberty in Jesus Christ; possessions; positions; $$$; power. It sounds like what the Jews did for centuries (especially with the Romans during Messiah Jesus’ ministry) and after they rejected their promised Messiah.
These so -called pastors are false teachers (deceivers) and are repeating history except time is running out. We know not the hour but we know the season.
If I can see and hear this truth in less than a year of study and prayer (because my eyes, ears and heart have been on Jesus’ truth not myself which I have repented dearly for in the past 2 years), you know pastors who have studied history, Scripture, and prophecy for decades must know. BUT, they reject truth and can’t let go of their false idols and false gods of this world. Simply no excuse.

Understanding the actual meaning of symbolisms used in Matthew, Luke, Revelation, and of course Daniel, is what is taking pastors and Christians down the wrong path. That path is futurism, in this case, in my opinion.
If it’s not in the Bible, as Pastor John Barnett stated a few times in this video, then it is a deception and people need to be careful. This is amazingly ironic since he himself is saying and teaching things that are not stated as such in the Bible! But in his mind he is taking the words in the Bible literally as seen in black and white (or red!) and assigning incorrect out-of-context meaning to them.
So many people believe the teachers like Pastor John Barnett because it is easy. It does not require work or independent effort to learn if you follow the easy way of what they all believe is the literal truth.
