Joel Richardson of FAI Studios ask what comes first, the rapture or the apostasy?
This whole discussion is baseless, as the apostacy that was foretold in 2 Thessalonians 2 took place in the fourth century when Emperor Constantine and the Roman bishops codified Romanism, a false Christian religion.
After centuries of persecution, many of the saints fell away from the Scriptural faith to compromise with the Roman church.
The Roman bishops pushed away the Heavenly Father’s seven Holy Feast Days and promoted the pagan-based holidays of Easter and Christmas.

Joel Richardson of FAI Studios says that 2 Thessalonians 2:1-4 is one of the most important critical passages that needs to be explored when discussing the rapture.
This statement is off-target, as the falling away already took place and the son of perdition has already been revealed!
In the 16th century, when the Protestant Reformers all proclaimed that the office of the papacy, the Popes of Rome, fulfill Bible prophecy as the ‘little horn’ of Daniel 7, the ‘son of perdition’ of 2 Thessalonians 2, and the ‘beast’ of Revelation 13, who leads the ‘harlot’ church of Rome.

Joel Richardson of FAI Studios points to ‘realized eschatology’ and preterism.
Joel Richardson and Dalton Thomas teach futurism, which assigns the 70th week of Daniel 9, the Olivet Discourse and most of the prophecies in Revelation to the last seven years.
Joel rightly proclaims that preterism is wrong, which assigns the fulfillment of the prophecies to the first century.
This false dichotomy of futurism verse preterism serves to hide historicism which shows how the prophecies in Revelation have been in the process of being fulfilled since the first century.

Joel Richardson of FAI Studios says that the coming of our Lord and our being gathered to Him, is preceded by the apostasy and the revealing of the man of lawlessness.
This is a true statement, but it’s based on the false explanation that the falling away and the appearance of the son of perdition takes place in the end times.
This is the fatal flaw with the teachings of Joel Richardson and Dalton Thomas, as they ignore the history of the church during the last 1,900 years.
The son of perdition popes proclaim to lead Messiah’s church, thus they sit in the temple. And their temples are overtly ornate. They man of sin popes have already proclaimed to be God, to forgive sins and provide salvation, which is blasphemy.

Joel Richardson of FAI Studios cites Cyril of Jerusalem (313 – 386 AD) to debunk the pretribulation rapture, but it also proves that his explanation is wrong.
Cyril said, “Men, that is, have fallen away from the true faith… So there you have the “falling away,” and the coming of the enemy is to be expected next.”
Cyril is declaring that the falling away had already happened in his lifetime, which validates that it took place with Constantine and the Roman bishops creation of Romanism, the false Christian religion which paved the way for the son of perdition to lead.
In 2 Thessalonians 2, the Apostle Paul says that the restrainer held the son of perdition back. The restrainer was the Western Roman Emperor who prevented the popes from taking power over the Roman beast kingdom.
The last Western Roman Emperor was removed from civil power in 476 AD, during the fourth trumpet judgment. Shortly afterward, the son of perdition popes were given civil authority in 538 AD.

Joel Richardson of FAI Studios read Matthew 24:9-13 to point to a last days apostasy.
In His Olivet Discourse, Messiah was talking to his disciples who witnessed all of the things that Messiah’s described, which led to the time of tribulation for the unbelieving Jewish nation in that generation, during the Jewish-Roman War of 66-70 AD.
1.1 million Jews died in and around Jerusalem from famine, pestilence, infighting, suicide, evisceration, crucifixion and by the Roman sword.
Most of Matthew 24 is not about the end times, but the desolation of Jerusalem, the temple and the unbelieving Jewish nation in 70 AD.

Joel Richardson of FAI Studios says that the Bible predicts a great apostasy in the last days.
Ironically, there has been a great apostasy during the last few centuries, as people have fallen away from truth in regard to Bible prophecy. The majority of people teach the false, futuristic explanations of prophecy fulfillment. Some teach the false, preterist explanations. And a minority teach the historicist explanations.
I pray that this posts helps wake you up, so that you can see how the enemy has deceived the end-times saints, for Messiah’s return draw nigh and you don’t want to be caught off-guard like the foolish virgins who don’t have the oil of Scriptural truth to light their way.
Joel Richardson and Dalton Thomas teach a futuristic fulfillment of the 70th week of Daniel 9, the Olivet Discourse and the prophecies in Revelation.
The 70th week of Daniel 9 is about Messiah’s ministry and His blood sacrifice as the Spotless Lamb to atone for our sins. It has nothing to do with the antichrist or the end times.
The Olivet Discourse foretold the events that would lead to the desolation of Jerusalem, the second temple and the Jewish nation; as punishment for the Jewish leaders continuing in rebellion against the Heavenly Father and for delivering His Son up to be killed. It has nothing to do with the antichrist or the end times.
Most of the prophecies in Revelation have been fulfilled in exacting detail during the last 1,900 years. It describes the historical narrative of the Satan-empowered leaders of the Roman beast kingdom (pagan Emperors > antichrist beast Popes > false prophet Jesuit Superior Generals) fighting against Messiah and His saints.
The explanations of Joel Richardson and Dalton Thomas serve to deflect blame away from the enemy in Rome, and to mislead the end-times saints so that they’re not prepared for how the end-times will play out, and don’t know the context of Messiah’s return.
