This Revelation Timeline Decoded post reviews a video by Joel Richardson of FAI STUDIOS, called ‘Jacob’s Trouble in Isaiah and Ezekiel.’
Video description: MARANATHA Global Bible Study // The Return of Jesus. Episode 16: Jacob’s Trouble in Isaiah and Ezekiel.
Before I begin my review of Joel Richardson’s explanations, let me declare that I do these type of reviews, not just to expose false teachers; but to show what they teach, which you may have also been taught, so that you can see the truth and the deception.
These reviews serve as an open rebuttal of their explanations. It’s not about me, it’s about the truth of prophecy fulfillment which reveals the glory of our beloved Messiah!
Joel Richardson of FAI Studios points to Daniel 12:1 and a future, final period of Jacob’s Trouble in the end times.
And at that time shall Michael stand up, the great prince which standeth for the children of thy people: and there shall be a time of trouble, such as never was since there was a nation even to that same time: and at that time thy people shall be delivered, every one that shall be found written in the book.
The time of Jacob’s Trouble took place during the 3 1/2 years of the Jewish-Roman War of 66-70 AD, which was within forty years of Messiah proclaiming that great tribulation would take place in that generation.
1.1 million Jews died in and around Jerusalem from famine, pestilence, infighting, suicide, evisceration, crucifixion and by the Roman sword.
Joel Richardson’s association of the time of Jacob’s Trouble being about the end times is off-target.
Joel Richardson of FAI Studios points to Daniel 12:1, saying that it describes the worst of all times.
Daniel 12:1 points to the Jews who believed in Messiah during the first century, and to the time of trouble for the unbelieving Jews as Jerusalem, the temple and the Jewish nation were desolated in 70 AD. This was their punishment for rejected their promised Messiah and delivering Him up to be killed.
Joel Richardson of FAI Studios points to the great tribulation in Matthew 24:21, applying it to the end times.
For then shall be great tribulation, such as was not since the beginning of the world to this time, no, nor ever shall be.
All of the things that Messiah described from Matthew 23:36 to Matthew 24:33 were fulfilled by 70 AD. The enemy has deceived people about the symbolism of the sun, moon, and stars being darkened; Messiah coming in power and glory; and the elect being gathered. But the Bible gives the proper definitions for the symbols.
The term ‘this generation’ was used ten times in Matthew, the last time in Matthew 24:34. The previous nine times it points to the Jews who lived during Messiah’s first advent. When you take Messiah at His Word you see the fulfillment of His Olivet Discourse and how the things that He described took place in that generation of Jews, for their punishment of continuing their rebellion against the Father, for delivering Messiah up to be killed, and for persecuting His disciples.
They proclaimed ‘let His blood be on us,’ and that prophetic statement was fulfilled in that generation, during the Jewish-Roman War of 66-70 AD, when Jerusalem, the temple and the Jewish nation were desolated.

Joel Richardson of FAI Studios cited Luke 21, applying it to the end times.
For these be the days of vengeance, that all things which are written may be fulfilled. But woe unto them that are with child, and to them that give suck, in those days! for there shall be great distress in the land, and wrath upon this people. And they shall fall by the edge of the sword, and shall be led away captive into all nations: and Jerusalem shall be trodden down of the Gentiles, until the times of the Gentiles be fulfilled. Luke 21:22-24
When the Roman army flooded into Jerusalem in 70 AD, they slew hundreds of thousands of Jews by the sword, and they captured some and sold them as slaves.
The Gentiles being referred to is the Roman army. The times of the Gentiles points to the determined judgment against the rebellious Jewish nation, when the Romans tread in Jerusalem to destroy the nation.
I pray that this posts helps wake you up, so that you can see how the enemy has deceived the end-times saints, for Messiah’s return draw nigh and you don’t want to be caught off-guard like the foolish virgins who don’t have the oil of Scriptural truth to light their way.
Joel Richardson and Dalton Thomas teach a futuristic fulfillment of the 70th week of Daniel 9, the Olivet Discourse and the prophecies in Revelation.
The 70th week of Daniel 9 is about Messiah’s ministry and His blood sacrifice as the Spotless Lamb to atone for our sins. It has nothing to do with the antichrist or the end times.
The Olivet Discourse foretold the events that would lead to the desolation of Jerusalem, the second temple and the Jewish nation; as punishment for the Jewish leaders continuing in rebellion against the Heavenly Father and for delivering His Son up to be killed. It has nothing to do with the antichrist or the end times.
Most of the prophecies in Revelation have been fulfilled in exacting detail during the last 1,900 years. It describes the historical narrative of the Satan-empowered leaders of the Roman beast kingdom (pagan Emperors > antichrist beast Popes > false prophet Jesuit Superior Generals) fighting against Messiah and His saints.
The explanations of Joel Richardson and Dalton Thomas serve to deflect blame away from the enemy in Rome, and to mislead the end-times saints so that they’re not prepared for how the end-times will play out, and don’t know the context of Messiah’s return.
