It’s all of the futuristic deceptions of the enemy that make it hard to see the truth of the fulfillment.

The enemy has programmed believers to look to the future for the fulfillment, as most prophecy teachers say that all of the Revelation seals, trumpets and bowls take place in the end-times. This is called futurism.

Regarding the fulfillment of the prophecies in Revelation, ask yourself, what makes more sense?

That most of the prophecies wouldn’t be fulfilled for 1,900+ years and are only about the events of the final 7 or 3 1/2 years? Or that they describe the events that the saints face from the 1st century until Messiah’s return?

Do you realize that Revelation starts with Messiah proclaiming, “The Revelation of Jesus Christ, which God gave unto him, to shew unto his servants things which must shortly come to pass and for the time is at hand”? Messiah is declaring that the prophecies would start to be fulfilled shortly after the vision was given to John.

Did you know that the great theologians of the 16th-20th centuries taught that Revelation has been in the process of being fulfilled since the first century? People like Albert Barnes, Adam Clarke, Henry Grattan Guinness, John Gill, Joseph Benson and Matthew Poole, point  to the historical narrative of Revelation. This is called historicism.

Did you know that the Protestant Reformers proclaimed the historicist narrative of Revelation and that the office of the papacy, the Popes, fulfill prophecy as the ‘little horn’ of Daniel 7, the ‘son of perdition’ of 2 Thessalonians 2, and the ‘antichrist beast’ of Revelation 13, who leads the ‘harlot’ church of Rome?

If the futuristic view of prophecy is true, then that means that our Messiah had nothing to say to His saints about the following events which have occurred during the last 1,900 years:

Satan using the Roman Emperors to kill millions of saints during ten persecution periods. During the harshest period, Emperor Diocletian sought to wipe out Messiah’s early church during ten years of great persecution from 303-312 AD.

Constantine and the Roman bishops codifying Catholicism, blending pagan god worship and the true faith.

The rise of the popes of Rome to power in the sixth century, who banned and burned the Scriptures and tortured and killed tens of millions of saints during the Dark Ages and the Inquisition.

The Popes proclaiming to lead Messiah’s church, but teaching a false Gospel of works through the sacraments and that Mary is the intercessor to the Father, which denies Christ.

The Popes taking the title of ‘holy father’ and declaring that they are God, that they can forgive sins, and that they can provide salvation, which is blasphemy.

The great harvest of the Protestant Reformation when the saints came back to life and proclaimed the Scriptural Gospel, which caused millions of Catholics to be saved.

The translation of the Scriptures into common languages after it had been hidden in Latin during the Dark Ages. And the advent of the printing press, which led to Bibles being spread around the world.

The futuristic view tells you that in Revelation, Messiah had nothing to say to His saints about those things. I will show you that our Messiah did in fact speak of all of those things in the book of Revelation, not by name of course, but the events and the people groups were all described in clear detail, and history proves the fulfillment.

Did you know that in the 16th century, the Jesuits were empowered by the Pope to counter the Reformation?

They created false, futuristic explanation of prophecy fulfillment which says that most of Revelation is fulfilled during the last seven years and points to a one-man antichrist to deflect blame away from the pope.

During the last century, the enemy has pushed aside the witness of the saints who have gone before us and promoted their false futuristic explanations, which now mislead most believers. They’re hiding that most of Revelation has been fulfilled in exacting detail during the last 1,900 years and that there’s not much left to occur before Messiah returns. I pray that you will seek truth, not defend a belief so that you’re prepared.

You can save and print a one-page PDF called What Makes More Sense? to review and share with others.

As you read the summaries and watch the videos, pray for discernment, because your programming, the things that you’ve been taught about the seals, the trumpets and the bowls, are going to interfere with your ability to understand what the Bible is really telling us.

I’m not asking you to be empty-minded, but you will need to be open-minded.
Seek to pursue truth, instead of defending what you’ve been led to believe.

The enemy has worked hard to deceive the end times Church, because the culmination of all that he has worked for to push the world into a New World Order, takes place in the last few years.

By causing you to look to a future fulfillment of prophecy, he has caused you to not understand who the enemy of Messiah and His Church really are.

Many Christians haven’t studied the scriptures to validate the meaning of prophecies,
so they have blindly trusted what Pastors have told them.

Friend, you’re going to stand before your Messiah some day and be accountable for knowing the true fulfillment.  Saying that your Pastors told you is not going to cut it.

The historic fulfillment of Messiah’s Revelation reveals the battle between Satan and his followers, warring against Messiah and His followers.

Right now, the enemy is prevailing, because most believers don’t even know who the real enemy is. And most believers think that they will be raptured before the supposed 7-year tribulation period, so most don’t care.

This explains why Messiah called our Laodicean Church era, lukewarm, wretched, miserable, blind, naked and poor. The enemy has infiltrated seminaries and caused them to teach a futuristic fulfillment of Revelation. This has blinded believers from seeing who Satan has empowered to war against them, so they are unable to fight back with the rod of iron, the Word of God.

Friend, are you ready to learn the truth?

Below is a path of learning, to help you see the big picture of prophecy fulfillment, and then the verse by verse explanations which prove it out.

Father, I pray that you wake the church up from her slumber, and that you anoint each visitor with eye salve to help them see the truth. I pray this for your honor and your glory. Amen!

David Nikao Wilcoxson

These summary studies show you how Revelation points to Rome.

In Messiah’s apocalyptic vision, He describes the historical battle between the Satan-empowered leaders of the Roman beast kingdom: pagan emperors > antichrist beast popes > false prophet Jesuit Superior Generals, fighting against Messiah and His saints.

This video is about the events that the saints have faced during the last 1,900 years. The false, futuristic view of Revelation says that Messiah had nothing to say about these major events, and that the prophecies in Revelation are all fulfilled during the last few years.

This video is about Messiah foretelling major world events in His apocalyptic vision. He didn’t name them, but He used symbolic language to point to them taking place.

Revelation Timeline Decoded by David Nikao Wilcoxson - end times prophecy

Messiah’s apocalyptic vision is a war manual, designed to hide the explanation from those who should not understand it.

It uses symbolic words that are defined in the Old Testament to point to a literal fulfillment. If you read Revelation only from a literal perspective, the interpretation is hidden.

Understanding the vision is like taking a Biblical final exam. If you’ve read the whole Word, you will have seen the symbolism that Messiah uses and can apply it to the fulfillment.

If you read Revelation as one chronological narrative, the prophecies seem out of sequence. That’s because it has four chronological layers, each of which spans from when it was written until Messiah returns.

This book explains the prophecies of Revelation on a timeline to help you see how the four chronological layers interact with each other, so that you can comprehend the whole vision.

You will learn how to identify who fulfills the role of the son of perdition, the antichrist beast, the false prophet, and the harlot called ‘Mystery, Babylon the Great.’ You will understand the proper context of the seal, trumpet, and bowl judgments; the little book of Revelation 10, and the two witnesses of Revelation 11.

Whether you’re a novice at Bible prophecy or someone who has studied it extensively, I provide an explanation that is easy to understand yet has the depth of verse by verse explanations to provide you the evidence you need to prove it out.

  1. This book saved my life. I’m not trying to be dramatic either. Growing up in the futurist churches I came to realize there is not much power for healing and shaping of my soul while underneath those teachings. I needed the BIGGER PICTURE. I needed a deeper understanding of Christian history. I bought this book in January 2021, and my life has been very different. I can see things for what they really are now. Thank you for writing this book, I appreciate all the work that has been put into it, easy to read and understand, well outlined and researched.

    • Thank you for your comment Jennifer! Understanding prophecy fulfillment is life-changing! It was for me! Seeing how many prophecies have been fulfilled in exacting detail makes us more in awe of our Messiah and it gives us tangible evidence for our faith! It validates the authority of the Bible and the deity of Messiah! And knowing history helps us see what the saints have endured during the last 2,000 years, which gives us strength during tough times. My mission is to provide enough information to prove out the fulfillment, but to keep the explanations easy to understand. You’re blessed to have ears to hear and eyes to see. Keep learning and growing in The Way of our beloved Messiah! David

      • Discernment between types, and anti-types, is a great key to understanding unfulfilled prophesy. An accurate understanding of the purpose and fulfillments of the types, and anti-types, will lead to a better knowledge of the timing of the return of Messiah. If you believe in a soon (premillenial) return of Messiah, then you do not have an accurate understanding of the types, and anti-types, and as such your eschatology is flawed.

  2. David I would love to hear your interpretation of Revelation Chapter 20. I have greatly appreciated your highlighting the compelling evidence for the Historicist perspective – but Im still struggling to figure out when the millennial reign begins (if that is physical or not) if it already started or is a future event and whether Satan is about to get his little season now or whether that is future as well –

thanks for all your resources I bought all 3 of your books and binged your YT playlist. Ive also pointed many people to your websites

    • Gary, I appreciate your zeal to understand prophecy fulfillment and for sharing it with others! I’m still researching Revelation 19-20 and I don’t have a full explanation yet. Right now I’m busy with other projects, so that Revelation 19-20 explanation has taken a back seat. Hopefully I’ll get back to it this year. Keep learning and growing in The Way!

      • Hi David,

Thank you for your writings, been very helpful for me in my faith walk. I see a lot of people trying to piece Revelation together today like a puzzle and I present your info to them and they say it isn’t possible and I just smile and challenge them to stop with the puzzle and read.

I recently stumbled upon some folks that have a view that there was once a different time period called Tartaria. Within that time period some believe that the Millennial reign of Christ already took place…and that there are two timelines within all this.

Their “evidence” is some coins dug up where the first impression of the year was an uppercase “i” follow by three digits as well as melted red brick structures all over the earth…as well as melted rocks and buildings that exist far below what we can see.

One of the Scriptures being shared in this view is 2 Peter 3:10-13 (with emphasis on v. 10). These folks are saying that the elements have already melted with fervent heat as evidenced by these melted structures.

Have you looked into any of this? It’s all interesting yet very overwhelming to take in.

        • Hi Brian, I’m glad that the explanations have helped you. Sadly, most people’s minds have been so strongly programmed with the futuristic narrative that they can’t conceive of the historical one.

I’ve not heard of people who point to a time period called Tartaria, but I imagine that they’re not historicists. People who believe in Preterism or Futurism are not going to give a good account of Messiah’s return.

We can see the historical narrative of Revelation and that it’s taken 1800 years to get to the sixth vial judgment, in which Messiah proclaims that He’s returning as a thief in the night. Based on that, it’s illogical to say that Messiah returned already and 2 Peter 3:10 was fulfilled long ago.

          I hope that helps,
          David

  3. I am not sure how you can say that the Arabs welcomed the Jews with open arms in 1947. Newspaper clippings from that time tell a very different story….. https://www.israellycool.com/2016/03/09/know-your-history-the-jewish-and-arab-reactions-to-the-partition-plan-1947/ …… the Arabs clearly stated they would push the Jews back into the sea. I am not a fan of the current regime in Israel but you are not correct about the Arabs and it doesn’t give me confidence in the rest of your research. I have not heard of any Jewish terrorists stabbing Arab clergymen to death while praying in their mosques. There have been many atrocities committed against the Jews in Israel and elsewhere. Remember the elderly man who was thrown over the rail in his wheel chair to drown? Remember the Munich Massacre at the Olympics of 1972?

    • The migration of Jews started way before 1947, and during that time the Palestinians did welcome the Jews. But after the Jews became assertive, then the Palestinians pushed back.

  4. My next door neighbor is really into Gods word. I think one of the things she talked about was 3 days of darkness and we are supposed to treat it like the first Passover . You stay in your house for those three days and don’t open the door no exceptions or you have disobeyed God and suffer the consequences. I’m basically just trying to get a second opinion on this.

Yeshua asked that we partake of bread and wine (representing His body and His blood) in communion to remember his sacrifice for our sins..

I have no one to communion with so maybe I do this on my own..

I don’t think anything wrong with recognising history and acknowledging what The Heavenly Father’s Feast Days did represent.. as you said Yeshuah is yet to fulfill:- The Feast of Trumpets.. The Feast of Atonement.. The Feast of Tabernacles..

When I read Amos 5:21 and Amos 8:10.. it put the fear of God in me to turn away from these pagan feast days (which are camouflaged with a bit of Christianity)

    Amos 5:21
I hate, despise your feast days, and I will not smell in your solemn assemblies..

    Amos 8:10
And I will turn your feast into mourning, and all your songs into lamentations; And I will bring sackcloth upon all loins, and baldness on every head; and I will make it as the mourning of an only son, and the end thereof as a bitter day..

    Jeremiah 10:20
Thus said the Lord, learn not the way of the heathen, and be not dismayed at them

    Jeremiah 10:3
For the customs of the people are vain; for one cutteth a tree out of the forest, the hands of the workman with the axe

    Jeremiah 10:4
They deck it with silver and gold, they fasten it with nails and hammers, that it move not

    Isaiah 40:20
He that is so impoverished that he hath no oblation chooseth a tree that will not rot; he seeker unto him a cunning workman to prepare a graven image, that shall not be moved. Jeremiah 10:4

    • Caroline, indeed we need to turn away from man-made ‘Christian’ holidays, and return to the ancient path of Scripture truth in celebrating the Father’s seven Holy Feast days which Messiah is fulfilling to redeem the set-apart saints. I created a new study called The True Gospel Story Decoded, which shows how Messiah is fulfilling His Father’s seven Holy Feast Days to redeem the set-apart saints. Here’s a link to the PDF of the study. https://comeoutofher.org/gospel David
