It’s all of the futuristic deceptions of the enemy that make it hard to see the truth of the fulfillment.

The enemy has programmed believers to look to the future for the fulfillment, as most prophecy teachers say that all of the Revelation seals, trumpets and bowls take place in the end-times. This is called futurism.

Regarding the fulfillment of the prophecies in Revelation, ask yourself, what makes more sense?

That most of the prophecies wouldn’t be fulfilled for 1,900+ years and are only about the events of the final 7 or 3 1/2 years? Or that they describe the events that the saints face from the 1st century until Messiah’s return?

Do you realize that Revelation starts with Messiah proclaiming, “The Revelation of Jesus Christ, which God gave unto him, to shew unto his servants things which must shortly come to pass and for the time is at hand”? Messiah is declaring that the prophecies would start to be fulfilled shortly after the vision was given to John.

Did you know that the great theologians of the 16th-20th centuries taught that Revelation has been in the process of being fulfilled since the first century? People like Albert Barnes, Adam Clarke, Henry Grattan Guinness, John Gill, Joseph Benson and Matthew Poole, point  to the historical narrative of Revelation. This is called historicism.

Did you know that the Protestant Reformers proclaimed the historicist narrative of Revelation and that the office of the papacy, the Popes, fulfill prophecy as the ‘little horn’ of Daniel 7, the ‘son of perdition’ of 2 Thessalonians 2, and the ‘antichrist beast’ of Revelation 13, who leads the ‘harlot’ church of Rome?

If the futuristic view of prophecy is true, then that means that our Messiah had nothing to say to His saints about the following events which have occurred during the last 1,900 years:

Satan using the Roman Emperors to kill millions of saints during ten persecution periods. During the harshest period, Emperor Diocletian sought to wipe out Messiah’s early church during ten years of great persecution from 303-312 AD.

Constantine and the Roman bishops codifying Catholicism, blending pagan god worship and the true faith.

The rise of the popes of Rome to power in the sixth century, who banned and burned the Scriptures and tortured and killed tens of millions of saints during the Dark Ages and the Inquisition.

The Popes proclaiming to lead Messiah’s church, but teaching a false Gospel of works through the sacraments and that Mary is the intercessor to the Father, which denies Christ.

The Popes taking the title of ‘holy father’ and declaring that they are God, that they can forgive sins, and that they can provide salvation, which is blasphemy.

The great harvest of the Protestant Reformation when the saints came back to life and proclaimed the Scriptural Gospel, which caused millions of Catholics to be saved.

The translation of the Scriptures into common languages after it had been hidden in Latin during the Dark Ages. And the advent of the printing press, which led to Bibles being spread around the world.

The futuristic view tells you that in Revelation, Messiah had nothing to say to His saints about those things. I will show you that our Messiah did in fact speak of all of those things in the book of Revelation, not by name of course, but the events and the people groups were all described in clear detail, and history proves the fulfillment.

Did you know that in the 16th century, the Jesuits were empowered by the Pope to counter the Reformation?

They created false, futuristic explanation of prophecy fulfillment which says that most of Revelation is fulfilled during the last seven years and points to a one-man antichrist to deflect blame away from the pope.

During the last century, the enemy has pushed aside the witness of the saints who have gone before us and promoted their false futuristic explanations, which now mislead most believers. They’re hiding that most of Revelation has been fulfilled in exacting detail during the last 1,900 years and that there’s not much left to occur before Messiah returns. I pray that you will seek truth, not defend a belief so that you’re prepared.

You can save and print a one-page PDF called What Makes More Sense? to review and share with others.

As you read the summaries and watch the videos, pray for discernment, because your programming, the things that you’ve been taught about the seals, the trumpets and the bowls, are going to interfere with your ability to understand what the Bible is really telling us.

I’m not asking you to be empty-minded, but you will need to be open-minded.
Seek to pursue truth, instead of defending what you’ve been led to believe.

The enemy has worked hard to deceive the end times Church, because the culmination of all that he has worked for to push the world into a New World Order, takes place in the last few years.

By causing you to look to a future fulfillment of prophecy, he has caused you to not understand who the enemy of Messiah and His Church really are.

Many Christians haven’t studied the scriptures to validate the meaning of prophecies,
so they have blindly trusted what Pastors have told them.

Friend, you’re going to stand before your Messiah some day and be accountable for knowing the true fulfillment.  Saying that your Pastors told you is not going to cut it.

The historic fulfillment of Messiah’s Revelation reveals the battle between Satan and his followers, warring against Messiah and His followers.

Right now, the enemy is prevailing, because most believers don’t even know who the real enemy is. And most believers think that they will be raptured before the supposed 7-year tribulation period, so most don’t care.

This explains why Messiah called our Laodicean Church era, lukewarm, wretched, miserable, blind, naked and poor. The enemy has infiltrated seminaries and caused them to teach a futuristic fulfillment of Revelation. This has blinded believers from seeing who Satan has empowered to war against them, so they are unable to fight back with the rod of iron, the Word of God.

Friend, are you ready to learn the truth?

Below is a path of learning, to help you see the big picture of prophecy fulfillment, and then the verse by verse explanations which prove it out.

Father, I pray that you wake the church up from her slumber, and that you anoint each visitor with eye salve to help them see the truth. I pray this for your honor and your glory. Amen!

These summary studies show you how Revelation points to Rome.

In Messiah’s apocalyptic vision, He describes the historical battle between the Satan-empowered leaders of the Roman beast kingdom: pagan emperors > antichrist beast popes > false prophet Jesuit Superior Generals, fighting against Messiah and His saints.

This video is about the events that the saints have faced during the last 1,900 years. The false, futuristic view of Revelation says that Messiah had nothing to say about these major events, and that the prophecies in Revelation are all fulfilled during the last few years.

This video is about Messiah foretelling major world events in His apocalyptic vision. He didn’t name them, but He used symbolic language to point to them taking place.

Revelation Timeline Decoded by David Nikao Wilcoxson - end times prophecy

Messiah’s apocalyptic vision is a war manual, designed to hide the explanation from those who should not understand it.

It uses symbolic words that are defined in the Old Testament to point to a literal fulfillment. If you read Revelation only from a literal perspective, the interpretation is hidden.

Understanding the vision is like taking a Biblical final exam. If you’ve read the whole Word, you will have seen the symbolism that Messiah uses and can apply it to the fulfillment.

If you read Revelation as one chronological narrative, the prophecies seem out of sequence. That’s because it has four chronological layers, each of which spans from when it was written until Messiah returns.

This book explains the prophecies of Revelation on a timeline to help you see how the four chronological layers interact with each other, so that you can comprehend the whole vision.

You will learn how to identify who fulfills the role of the son of perdition, the antichrist beast, the false prophet, and the harlot called ‘Mystery, Babylon the Great.’ You will understand the proper context of the seal, trumpet, and bowl judgments; the little book of Revelation 10, and the two witnesses of Revelation 11.

Whether you’re a novice at Bible prophecy or someone who has studied it extensively, I provide an explanation that is easy to understand yet has the depth of verse by verse explanations to provide you the evidence you need to prove it out.

  1. Hi David, I fully agree with you. I am busy reading David Chiltons book “The days of Vengeance. I believe that the 70 years of Daniel points right to the cross.
I believe that the so called Great Tribulation were fulfilled in about 70 AD when the Jews were killed in Jerusalem. This tribulation were 42 months long. 1260 days right to the day.

I believe that people are interpreting Math: 24 wrong. Jesus spoke to His Apostles as well as the Pharisees, telling them that these things WILL happen before “THIS GENERATION” came to pass.

The Jews killed the prophets and they were about to kill Jesus also. They took the curse upon themselves when they told Pilot that they accept the blood of Jesus death on themselves as well as their children.

    • Thank you for your comment Einar! The challenge is that people lump together the prophecies that speak of ‘great tribulation’, but they are different.

The great tribulation of the Olivet Discourse in Matthew 24 took place from 66-70 A.D., when the temple, city, and 1.1 million Jews were desolated. Here is a study on the time of Jacob’s Trouble http://theolivetdiscourse.com/the-great-tribulation-of-matthew-24/

The great tribulation of Revelation 13 took place during the 1,260 year reign of the Popes of Rome, from 538-1798 A.D., in which 1.1 million saints were killed.

Sadly, most people assign both of those events to the future, instead of seeing the historical fulfillment.

  2. Jesus has plenty to say to His Church. Jesus spoke to His Church not in the book of revelation, but in the writings of the apostle Paul. Unfortunately this fact is overlooked by many well meaning Christians.
Ephesians 3 says that Jesus, after he ascended to heaven, visited him and gave him a revelation which Paul referred to as the revelation of the Mystery of Christ. This revelation showed that gentiles would now be fellow heirs and partakers of the gospel.
Prior to God giving this revelation to Paul, if you weren’t a Jew you were ‘aliens of the Commonwealth of Israel’ and ‘without God in the world’. Ephesians 2.
Jesus was not talking to you in Matthew Mark Luke or John, instead He was talking to ‘the lost sheep of the house of Israel. E.g. Matthew 15:24.
Paul wrote the books of Romans through to Philemon. These books are specifically addressed to His Church and written to anyone who lives today. These books contain the gospel message which is that Jesus Christ died on the cross to pay for your sin, and if you recognise your sin and trust that Christ paid the price for that sin with His own precious blood then you will be saved!
Believe the gospel. When you do you become a member of the true church, which is the body of Christ. Remember the 2 prisoners hanging on the cross next to Jesus? The one who went to be with Jesus in paradise was the one who believed.

    • Tim, I’m not sure how you say that Messiah did not talk to His Church in the book of Revelation, when this website proves that He was speaking to the saints, who would have to battle against the Satan-empowered Roman beast; which has relentlessly tried to wipe them out.

10 million saints were killed by the Roman Empire, as Satan used the Roman Emperors to try to wipe out the early church; but they overcame by the blood of the Lamb and the Word of their testimony, and they loved their lives not unto death.

The Popes of Rome caused over 50 million saints to be killed, because they proclaimed the truth of Scripture, rather than the teachings of men.

      • Hi David, Thanks for responding. Can provide me with evidence of the 10M saints killed under the Roman empire and the 50M killed under the popes? I’m not denying it was a blood bath, they’re mass murderers, but I’d like to reference some numbers as I couldn’t find anything.

I don’t disagree that Messiah is talking to his church in the book of Revelation. Our difference in understanding relates to which Church He is talking to. The Word shows us that there is more than one Church that has existed throughout Gods dealing with humanity. Before I go any further, all believers do make up the ‘Church’, the difference is in administration and it is extremely important to grasp.
The Church in Jerusalem, whom the Holy Spirit fell upon and filled in Acts 2. The Jerusalem Church dealing primarily with the Nation Israel. The ‘gospel of the kingdom’ was preached in the synagogues. The earthly Kingdom was coming just as God had promised the Jews through the prophet Jeremiah. The Messiah was to return with power and glory. This is what they prayed for and this is what they preached to their Jewish counterparts. As a result, many Jews converted to Christianity and believed in their Messiah. The church grew. Even a small number of gentiles were converted. These believers were instructed by the apostle Peter. They were to repent and be baptized in water for the remission of their sin. They had to sell everything they had and give everything they had, they pooled and shared everything, they sacrificed everything and they were on a mission just as Jesus instructed them when he spoke to them in Matthew 24.

Even though many Jews believed, Israel as a whole, it’s leaders etc. were stubborn and unrepentant and refused to accept their Messiah whom they had killed. As a result God bought Israel into judgement at the moment of the stoning of Stephen in Acts chapter 9 and Israel was ‘counted in unbelief’ and salvation was offered as a ‘free gift’ to all gentiles. Shocking!! No one saw this coming, but God had a plan that he had kept secret until He revealed it to us through the Apostle Paul.

Had we not the writings of the Apostle Paul, this fact would not be known. Jesus gave this message to Paul by revelation. The recipients of this free gift are members of the Church today. This Church is described as the Body of Christ and it’s made up of those who simply believe the Gospel. As much as people like to think that the idea of a rapture is bologne, it isn’t. It’s what the bible says that God will do. Today people call it a ‘rapture’. The real word is ‘harpazo’ which is interpreted as ‘catching away’. The Body of Christ will be taken out when He is ready to take us out, and God will then complete His dealing with the remnant nation of Israel.

At this future time, there will be a literal antichrist, but many people will be saved. These people who are saved at this time will make up that future Church. These people are saints too. It will not be as simple to be saved then as it is now. It will be a terrible time and not one that anyone would want to live through but salvation will still be possible by His Grace.

All true believers are saints – no matter which time they lived and regardless of the administration. Even the ones who lived in Old Testament times. However, it is really important to know which scripture is written directly to us, and which scripture is written for others at different times. (No Christian today should apply the full writings of Deuteronomy to their daily life and likewise they shouldn’t apply the writings of Revelation because neither of those books are written to us for now.. Instead, we read all scripture for doctrine, for reproof, for correction etc) If ‘christians’ were taught to do this – that would end the 33000+ denominations that exist because the Body of Christ is not divided it is united and it is one in Christ and the gospel.

        Reply
          • If the ‘1260 days’ was really referring to the 1260 year reign of the antichrist popes from 538 – 1798 why does the bible say 1260 literal days?
If you are correct, and it is actually 1260 years, why do other verses refer to this time period as 42 months? Can 42 months be converted to mean 1260 years?

          • Sometimes in prophecy, 1 day represents one prophetic year. Look at the 70 weeks of Daniel. It wasn’t fulfilled in 70 weeks. It was fulfilled in 490 years, as each week has 7 days, times 70 weeks, equals 490 days; and one day pointed to one year. It was fulfilled from 457 B.C. to 34 A.D.

            Daniel and John described the same 1,260 days in different ways; 42 months (42 x 30 = 1,260); time (360), times (720) and half a time (180) = 1,260.

Here is a study that shows how those prophecies which described 1,260 days, pointed to 1,260 years. http://revelationtimelinedecoded.com/the-1260-year-reign-of-the-popes-of-the-roman-catholic-church/

          • Agreed. However, I’d like to highlight the first word in your reply. ‘Sometimes’. This does not mean ‘all the time’. In light of my comments in relation to Daniels 70th week on other posts, knowing that the bible says that 69 weeks had passed at the time of the ‘cutting off’ of the Messiah in Daniel 9, the 2 periods in Revelation referring to the 1260 days and the 42 months totals 7 years so logically, this is the last week of years in Daniel 9. It does not appear to be prophesying about popes who have existed over the last 2000 years who are living in the ‘dispensation of the grace of God’, so even though it makes sense and the dates are convincing, it is very unlikely that this is talking about 1260 years.
Aside from all the so called ‘jew’ fakery, all the christian fakery, with all the denominations, and non denominations, and orthodox, and catholics and who knows what else, in spite of all this God does have a real future for the faithful remnant of Israel. 7000 of them. Refer Romans 11. Only it would appear that they don’t exist now according to Ezekiel 36. For them to enter the kingdom, they must first be ‘born again’. So what happened? They were born once and died, and they will be raised up by God and given new life. At this time in the future, the 3rd temple will exist but the sacrifices and oblations will be stopped fulfilling the prophecy of Daniel 9:27.

          • “. . . the 2 periods in Revelation referring to the 1260 days and the 42 months totals 7 years so logically, this is the last week of years in Daniel 9.” Question: I quiery, what is the evidence that you can present that truthfully supports, from the Bible and actual history, the Historicist method, that “. . . logically, this is the last week of years in Daniel 9”??? Please show how the 1,260 days, being 42 months, is in fact the last 7 years of the 70 weeks of Daniel chapter 9 verses 24 to 27?

  4. For one Christianity is a lie and farce of Constantine and his pagan bishops. They made the scriptures void of salvation. Constantine killed off the last of Yahweh’s Elect, then this became Satan’s world fully. Salvation comes again during the 7 Year Peace Plan after WW3. Constantine started the 5th Seal and we are living at the very end of it. The 5th Seal is also the rule of the Papacy as we watch the Papacy getting their power back…. You guys have so much to learn and it is not going to be found in Christianity.

  5. Hi David,
Thank you for allowing me to comment on this thread and share my views. I’ve read some of your articles and readers’ comments concerning Revelations and End times prophecy of which there are many interpretations. For example, the Scarlet woman Mystery Babylon is commonly perceived as being Papal Rome or the Roman Catholic Church, however careful reading will show compelling evidence for Jerusalem.
Revelations 17 is where we first see the emergence of the woman riding the beast with seven heads and ten horns which certainly seems to fit the Roman Empire. Here the Scarlet woman is identified as the great city, so at this stage it could easily be construed as Papal Rome and the Vatican city. However our first clue is given when the great city is described earlier in Ch.11 “ And their dead bodies will lie in the street of the great city which spiritually is called Sodom and Egypt, where also our Lord was crucified”. As we know Jesus was crucified in Jerusalem.
The names given to the woman provide further clues; Mystery, Babylon the great, The Mother of Harlots and Abominations of the earth. At this point in time Jerusalem already had a history of being a harlot nation likened to Sodom and Egypt which disobeyed God, embraced idolatry from Egyptian and Babylonian influence, murdered the prophets, and used the power and authority of Rome to kill Christ and the saints. Hence the “Woman who sits on the beast”. At this stage God’s judgement and wrath upon Israel and Jerusalem was still pending and had not yet been fulfilled, let alone Papal Rome and the RCC which had not even been established.
Revelations 18 is the fulfilment of God’s wrath upon Israel and Jerusalem or Babylon the great, and when cross referenced with Matthew 23 provides the final clue.
“Babylon the great is fallen, is fallen, and has become a dwelling place of demons, a prison for every foul spirit, Rev 18:2 “Rejoice over her, O heaven, and you holy apostles and prophets, for God has avenged you on her!”Rev18:20 And in her was found the blood of prophets and saints, and of all who were slain on the earth.” Rev18: 24
“so that upon you may fall the guilt of all the righteous blood shed on earth, from the blood of righteous Abel to the blood of Zechariah,”Mat23:35 “Jerusalem, Jerusalem, who kills the prophets and stones those who are sent to her! “Mat 23:37.
It’s important to keep in mind that Bible prophecy from Daniel to the book of Revelations is largely the fulfilment of God’s wrath upon Israel and Jerusalem. Jesus was the fulfilment of prophesy, and His prophecy of the end given in Mat.24 relates not to the end of our world as we know it, but the destruction of Jerusalem AD70, and the end of the old covenant age. He directed this primarily to His apostles who had asked him in private, of which He quotes the abomination of desolation spoken by Daniel as the sign for them to watch out for. He was even more specific when He told them “this generation will not pass away until all these things are fulfilled.”
The book of Revelations expands on the very same prophesy, and was directed at the early church (seven churches) as it concerned their immediate future and a warning of the coming judgement upon Israel and Jerusalem. Before the seventh trumpet John is asked to measure the temple, which suggests the destruction of Jerusalem; still a future event was about to occur. We know it’s the earthly temple because it mentions the Holy city would be trodden underfoot by the Gentiles 42 months or 3 ½ years. By AD70 this prophesy was fulfilled within the very generation that Jesus had foretold. Yet today many still believe this prophesy is directed at us living in the 21st century. This is not to say there isn’t more to Revelations as there is still the second beast and the false prophet, but that’s for another time.
