The False Narrative Of Replacement Theology

This Revelation Timeline Decoded page focuses on replacement theology.

Many believers have been misled to think that the ‘church‘ has replaced ‘Israel,’ which is known as ‘replacement theology.’

The enemy has caused people to assign the Heavenly Father’s promises to physical Jews, instead of understanding that the promises are to the Commonwealth of Israel, which is made up of believing Jews and Gentiles.

The ‘seed‘ of Abraham points to Messiah and those who believe in Him. Abraham, Isaac, Jacob/Israel, David, Daniel, etc., all believed that the Anointed One would atone for their sins. We look back on that event.

Because most believers don’t understand that they are Israelites, as the enemy has misled them by putting people called Jews in the Zionist state of Israel, and proclaim that they are ‘God’s Chosen People.’

Messiah foretold these Jews in Zionist Israel when He proclaimed in Revelation 3:9, that they are “of the synagogue of Satan, which say they are Jews, and are not, but do lie.”

When the Apostle Paul’s declares in Romans 11:26 that “all Israel is saved,” he is proclaiming that the spiritual nation of Israel is made up of those who believe in the atoning work of Messiah.

In the preceding verses, Paul told the believers in Rome to not boast as they understood that judgment was coming against the unbelieving Jewish nation.

Then Paul proclaimed that the unbelieving Jews were blinded to the declaration in Daniel 9:26 and Daniel 12, about the determined desolation of Jerusalem, the temple and the Jewish nation.

For I would not, brethren, that ye should be ignorant of this mystery, lest ye should be wise in your own conceits; that blindness in part is happened to Israel, until the fulness of the Gentiles be come in.  And so all Israel shall be saved: as it is written, There shall come out of Sion the Deliverer, and shall turn away ungodliness from Jacob. Romans 11:25-26

The believers in Jerusalem were saved spiritually, and they were saved from the time of trouble for the Jewish nation during the Jewish-Roman War of 66-70 AD, as they heeded Messiah’s warning about the abomination of desolation and fled to the mountains of Pella for safety.

The same narrative is proclaimed in Daniel 12:1, pointing to the true Israelites, the believing Jews, being saved from the time of trouble, and the unbelieving Jewish nation facing a time of trouble in the first century.

And at that time shall Michael stand up, the great prince which standeth for the children of thy people: and there shall be a time of trouble, such as never was since there was a nation even to that same time: and at that time thy people shall be delivered, every one that shall be found written in the book.

The Jews who believed in Messiah had their names written in the book of life. The Jews who rejected Messiah faced a time of trouble during the Jewish-Roman War of 66-70 AD.

Daniel 12:4 says that the narrative of the desolation of the Jewish nation during the 3 1/2 years of the Jewish-Roman War of 66-70 AD, was sealed up so that the unbelieving Jews would not understand and escape their judgment.

The saints, both Jews and Gentiles, are the priests of Messiah’s kingdom.

“But ye are a chosen generation, a royal priesthood, an holy nation, a peculiar people; that ye should shew forth the praises of him who hath called you out of darkness into his marvelous light.” 1 Peter 2:9

And indeed, the early believers were rewarded for their faithful service, even unto death:

“And hath made us kings and priests unto God and his Father; to him be glory and dominion for ever and ever. Amen.” Revelation 1:6

Many Jews believed in Messiah and were saved, and they played a huge role in the Early Church. But many rejected Him and delivered Him up to be killed, and they were desolated and removed from power.

Romans 2:28-29 tells us that a Jew is one inwardly, whose heart is circumcised.

“For he is not a Jew who is one outwardly, nor is circumcision that which is outward in the flesh; but he is a Jew who is one inwardly; and circumcision is that of the heart, in the Spirit, not in the letter; whose praise is not from men but from God.”

Romans 9:6-8 declares that Abraham’s fleshly descendants ARE NOT the children of Elohim.

“For they are not all Israel who are of Israel, nor are they all children because they are the seed of Abraham; but, “In Isaac your seed shall be called.” That is, those who are the children of the flesh, these are NOT the children of God; but the children of the promise are counted as the seed.”

Galatians 3:7 tells us that ONLY those who are of faith are the children of Elohim.

“Therefore know that only those who are of faith are sons of Abraham.”

Galatians 3:16 tells us that the seed of Abraham is Messiah.

“Now to Abraham and his Seed were the promises made. He does not say, “And to seeds,” as of many, but as of one, “and to your Seed,” who is Christ.”

Galatians 3:28-29 tells us that followers of Messiah (Jew and Gentile) are Abraham’s seed who receive the promises made to Abraham.

“There is neither Jew nor Greek, there is neither slave nor free, there is neither male nor female; for you are all one in Christ Jesus. And if you are Christ’s, then you are Abraham’s seed, and heirs according to the promise.”

Paul is telling us that true Israel, true Jews, believe by faith, and so inherit the promises made to father Abraham. Everyone who believes in Messiah by faith, are the Chosen People of God. They will inherit Holy Jerusalem when Messiah returns.
