This Revelation Timeline Decoded post reviews a video by RisenLamb called ‘How did we miss THIS?! – The connection between Daniel 7 and Revelation 13.’
A friend requested that I review this video to see what I think about the explanations.
Before I begin my review of RisenLamb’s explanations, let me declare that I do these type of reviews, not just to expose false teachers; but to show what they teach, which you may have also been taught, so that you can see the truth and the deception.
These reviews serve as an open rebuttal of their explanations. It’s not about me, it’s about the truth of prophecy fulfillment which reveals the glory of our beloved Messiah!
RisenLamb says that we’ve yet to see the Revelation 13 beast appear.
This is a false declaration, as Revelation 12-13 describes the different phases of the Satan-empowered leaders of the Roman beast kingdom: the pagan emperors in Revelation 12, the antichrist beast popes Revelation 13 sea beast and the false prophet Revelation 13 earth beast.
RisenLamb says that the four beast kingdoms of Daniel rise to power after Babylon. He said that the lion is Cyrus the Great, the bear is Cambyses II, the leopard was Smerdis (Bardia) and the first of the ten horned beast was Darius the Great.
This explanation is off-target, as Daniel 2 and Daniel 7 describe the four beast kingdoms of Babylon, Medo-Persia, Greece and Rome, with the last one enduring in power until Messiah returns.
The head of gold in Daniel 2, the lion of Daniel 7, was the empire of Babylon. The kingdom of Babylon was strong, courageous and fierce as a lion; and they used the lion as a symbol on the Ishtar Gate.
The chest of silver in Daniel 2, the bear of Daniel 7, was the Medo-Persian Empire. Like a bear, their army was huge, up to 1.5 million people, and they overwhelmed the enemy with their size.
The waist of brass in Daniel 2, the leopard of Daniel 7, was the Grecian Empire. Alexander the Great and his Grecian army were smaller, so they were able to move swiftly like a leopard and were agile in their battles.
The legs of iron in Daniel 2, the dreadful beast of Daniel 7, was the Roman Empire. It was in power during Messiah’s ministry and when John wrote Revelation. Pagan Rome collapsed internally, and then army after army attacked it, resulting in the Roman Emperor being removed in 476 AD.
The ten toes of Daniel 2, the ten horns of Daniel 7, was the divided Roman Empire. It then split into ten civil kingdoms, symbolized by the ten toes and the ten horns.
In Revelation, John picks the narrative of the Roman beast kingdom, in describing the pagan Emperors who persecuted Messiah’s saints during ten persecutions periods, making the birth of Messiah’s church very painful; and the antichrist beast popes of Rome who caused tens of millions of Messiah’s saints to be tortured and killed during the Dark Ages and Inquisition.
Revelation 17 describes the harlot church of Rome which is led by the beast popes, who rose to power after seven forms of government of the Roman Empire.
RisenLamb says that the ten kings in Daniel 7:24 were leaders of Medo-Persia.
This false narrative is based on his incorrect explanation of the four beasts of Daniel 2 and Daniel 7.
Daniel 7:24 points to the popes of Rome who rose to power among the ten kingdoms of the fallen Western Roman Empire, after the last Western Roman Emperor was removed from power in 476 AD during the fourth trumpet judgment.
Three of the kingdoms (the Heruli, the Ostrogoths and the Vandals) were destroyed by the Roman Catholic Church, because they wouldn’t bow down to their authority.
Daniel 7:25 points to the popes of Rome who blasphemed against God, made war with the saints during the Dark Ages and Inquisition, changed the calendar and changed the law by removing the second commandment about making and bowing to graven images.
RisenLamb says that the Revelation 13 should be compared to the Medo-Persian Empire.
Revelation 13:2 is telling us that the Roman beast kingdom has the characteristics of the previous three kingdoms of Babylon the lion, Medo-Persia the bear, and Greece the leopard, and that it controls the territories which were once held by those kingdoms.
It’s pointing to the Roman beast kingdom rising to power as the fourth beast kingdom of Daniel 2 and Daniel 7.
Revelation 13:1 shows that the crowns are upon the ten horns, meaning that the ten kingdoms of the fallen Western Roman Empire have given their power to the antichrist beast popes. In Revelation 12, the crowns were on the seven heads, which pointed to the seven forms of government of the Roman Empire.
RisenLamb cites Revelation 17:10, saying that people try to apply it to the Roman Emperors, holding to a preterist view.
RisenLamb says Revelation 17:10 is pointing to Egypt, Neo-Assyria, Neo-Babylon, Medo-Persia, Greece, Rome and the Islamic Caliphate.
His statement serves to hide the historicist view of prophecy fulfillment. Revelation 17:10 points to seven phases of the Roman beast kingdom.
Messiah tells us that references in Revelation are according to what John saw at the time that it was written down, “Write the things which thou hast seen, and the things which are, and the things which shall be hereafter.”
At the time that John wrote Revelation, five forms of the Roman kingdom had come and gone; 1) Kings, 2) Consuls, 3) Dictators, 4) Decemvirs, and 5) Military Tribunes.
The sixth form of the Roman government was the Imperial head, commencing with Octavian, better known as Augustus Caesar. This form of government existed in John’s day and was in power until the last Emperor was removed in 476 A.D.
During the ‘short space‘ until the 8th head would arrive; the seventh head of the Roman beast was the Dukedom of Rome. Renowned historian Edward Gibbons tells us that Italy was divided unequally between the kingdom of the Lombards and the Exarchate of Ravenna.
John was being told that the harlot described in verses 1-6, the Roman Catholic Church, would rise to power after the seven forms of government of the Roman Empire.
The Popes of Rome were empowered by Eastern Emperor Justinian in 538 AD, which was a ‘short space‘ after the last Roman Emperor was removed in 476 AD.
RisenLamb says that the entire Bible is a Israel-centric book.
Jerusalem is the center of the 70th week of Daniel 9 prophecy, as it points to Messiah appearing in the 70th week to carry out His multiyear ministry and confirm the everlasting covenant (that was mentioned in Daniel 9:4) in the middle of the seven years to end the need for temple sacrifices. Read The 70th Week Of Daniel 9 Decoded
The 70th week of Daniel 9 is not about an end-times seven-year tribulation which features a one-man antichrist, like Joel Richardson and Dalton Thomas proclaim.
Jerusalem is the center of the fulfillment of Messiah’s Olivet Discourse, as He foretold the judgment of the unbelieving Jewish nation during the Jewish-Roman War of 66-70 AD, in that generation. Read The Olivet Discourse Deception
Messiah’s Olivet Discourse is not about the end times, like Joel Richardson and Dalton Thomas proclaim.
And Jerusalem is not the center of Revelation, as the only mention of Jerusalem is to Holy Jerusalem, which is the name of Messiah’s Ekklesia of saints.
Most of the prophecies have already been fulfilled during the last 1,900 years, and they are primarily focused on the Roman beast kingdom which is based in the great city of Rome. Read Revelation Timeline
RisenLamb points to the Ottoman Empire being dissolved in 1922 AD, saying that it’s trying to revive itself as the eighth king of Revelation 17:10.
The eighth king is the popes of Rome who rose to power after seven forms of government of the Roman Empire.
What he’s not teaching is that the Ottoman Empire being dissolved in 1922 AD, was the fulfillment of the ‘drying up of the Euphrates River’ in the sixth vial.
The Euphrates River symbolized the Turks who were released during the sixth trumpet judgment to attack the eastern Roman Empire, conquering Constantinople in 1453 AD after they used large cannons (fire, smoke and brimstone) to knock down the thick protective walls.
They became the mighty Ottoman Empire as they conquered more territory. Then during the 19th-20th centuries, they lost control of most of the territory (it dried up) and were only left with the country of Turkey which is the source of the Euphrates River.
RisenLamb says that Magog is in modern Turkey.
That’s ironic as he says that prophecy is Israel-centric, because it’s the Khazar Jews from the kingdom of Khazaria (from Ashkena) who are the kings of the east in the sixth vial, who now populate Zionist Israel.
The Khazar Jews fled to Russia and Poland when they were pushed out of their land. Then through the narratives of WWI and WWII, they took possession of Palestine, where they destroyed hundreds of unwalled Palestinian villages, stole the land and killed many, as we see in the narrative of Ezekiel 38.
Lord Rothschild, Gog, was given control of the land of Palestine via the Balfour Agreement. The Khazar Jews, Magog, possess the land. They fulfill Messiah’s words in Revelation 3:9, which says that they say they are Jews, but do lie, but are of the Synagogue of Satan. They revere the Babylonian Talmud and the Satanic Egyptian Kabbalah.
The explanations of RisenLamb are off-target as they’re based on the false, futuristic narrative of prophecy fulfillment that the enemy created to mislead the end-times saints.
The 70th week of Daniel 9 is about Messiah’s ministry and His blood sacrifice as the Spotless Lamb to atone for our sins. It has nothing to do with the antichrist or the end times.
The Olivet Discourse foretold the events that would lead to the desolation of Jerusalem, the second temple and the Jewish nation; as punishment for the Jewish leaders continuing in rebellion against the Heavenly Father and for delivering His Son up to be killed. It has nothing to do with the antichrist or the end times.
Revelation describes the historical narrative of the Satan-empowered leaders of the Roman beast kingdom (pagan Emperors > antichrist beast Popes > false prophet Jesuit Superior Generals) fighting against Messiah and His saints.
The explanations of RisenLamb serve to deflect blame away from the enemy in Rome, and to mislead the end-times saints so that they’re not prepared for how the end-times will play out, and don’t know the context of Messiah’s return.
