Wow, that is so misguided!!! The mark of the beast is also mentioned in Revelation 14:9-11, Revelation 15:2, Revelation 16:2, Revelation 19:20 and Revelation 20:4.
Some of the references to the mark of the beast have already been fulfilled, as Catholic countries obeyed the antichrist beast Pope’s command to kill the saints. 1.3 billion Catholics have the mark of the beast as they revere (mark on forehead) and obey (mark on right hand, actions) the antichrist beast Pope of Rome.

Dalton Thomas says that the mark of the beast starts with the abomination of desolation then a 42 month period.
The abomination of desolation in Messiah’s Olivet Discourse took place in 66 AD, when Cestius and his army surrounded the temple and were ready to take Jerusalem captive. They left for no explained reason, which gave Messiah’s saints the opportunity to flee to the mountains for safety.
But the unbelieving Jews stayed in Jerusalem, and then three strong divisions of the Roman army were sent to Judea, which led to 1.1 million Jews dying in and around Jerusalem from famine, pestilence, infighting, suicide, crucifixion and by the Roman sword.
This was punishment for the Jewish leaders continuing in rebellion against the Heavenly Father and delivering His Son up to be killed. It all took place in that generation just like Messiah proclaimed!

Dalton Thomas points to a futuristic one-man little horn of Daniel 7, son of perdition of 2 Thessalonians 2 and antichrist of Revelation.
This is a false narrative! As you saw above, the Pope of Rome fulfill these roles. And the explanations of Dalton Thomas and Joel Richardson serve to deflect blame away from the antichrist.
The antichrist is one who comes in the place of Christ, who pretends to be his representative, but deceives people. That is what the Popes do as they proclaim to lead Messiah’s church but they teach a false Gospel and that Mary is the intercessor to the Father. They now deceive 1.3 billion Catholics.
The Popes take the title of the “Vicar of Christ” which means in place of Christ, which is antichrist. The Popes have already proclaimed to be God, to be Jesus Christ in the flesh, to forgive sins and to provide salvation; which is blasphemy.
The Popes have banned and burned the Scriptures, and caused tens of millions of saints to be killed during the Dark Ages and the Inquisition.

I agree with this statement as the mark of the beast is about revering (mark on forehead) and obeying (mark on right hand, actions) the antichrist beast Pope of Rome.

Messiah proclaimed that false prophets would come in His name, and the Popes of Rome have the title of the ‘Vicar of Christ’ which means substitute Christ.
The Popes of Rome proclaim to lead Messiah’s church, but they teach a false Gospel of works through the sacraments and that Mary is the intercessor to the Father; which is antichrist.

The Popes of Rome lead the harlot Roman Catholic Church, which symbolically carries out the Babylonian Mystery Religion of sun-god worship with the veneer of the Scriptural faith.

The antichrist is hidden in plain sight!
Dalton Thomas is well-spoken and seems very smart and sincere. But his explanations reveal that he is misled. I pray that he comes to learn the glorious truth about the fulfillment of Revelation, for in it we see the glory of Messiah.
Messiah’s apocalyptic vision is a war manual, designed to hide the explanation from those who should not understand it. It uses symbolic words that are defined in the Old Testament to point to a literal fulfillment. If you read Revelation only from a literal perspective, the interpretation is hidden.
