There are two key reasons to read this book. First, the 70th week of Daniel is the only prophecy in the Bible that foretold exactly when Messiah would start His ministry and when He would die for our sins.
When you understand the fulfillment, you have tangible proof to give to the world, that the Bible is true and that Messiah is deity.
The second reason is that the popular explanations for the fulfillment of Revelation are based on the concept of a futuristic 70th week of Daniel, an end-times seven-year tribulation period.
When you understand that the 70th week of Daniel is about the Jewish nation waiting for their promised Messiah to appear in the first century; then you know that it’s not about the antichrist.
If you insist that the 70th week of Daniel has not been fulfilled, then read Daniel 9:24-27, and ask yourself these questions. During which week of the seventy-week prophecy did Messiah carry out his multiyear ministry? And in which week did He die for our sins? If you’re honest with the text, you’ll see that the only place for those events is in the 70th week.
Regarding the ‘covenant’ of Daniel 9:27, it’s the same covenant that Daniel just mentioned in Daniel 9:4, which already existed.It is the everlasting covenant that was made to Abraham, which Messiah came to ‘confirm’ with His blood as the Passover Lamb, which paid the price for our sins and ended the need for temple animal sacrifices.
We’ll all stand before our Righteous Judge to account for what we believe and teach about the most important prophecy in the Bible. I pray that you will read the explanations in this book about the 70th week of Daniel, compare it to Scripture, and discern it for yourself.

Matthew records that Messiah pointed to “this generation” ten times. In the final time, Messiah said, “Verily I say unto you, this generation shall not pass, till all these things be fulfilled.” Matthew 24:34
The nine previous mentions are pointing to the Jews who opposed Messiah. Are we to believe that the tenth time that He described “this generation,” that He is pointing to the end times? No!
The context of Messiah’s Olivet Discourse is the desolation of the temple that He was just in when He rebuked the Jews and said, “Verily I say unto you, all these things shall come upon this generation.”
All of the things that Messiah described from Matthew 23:36 to Matthew 24:33 were fulfilled by 70 AD when the Romans desolated Jerusalem, the temple, and the Jewish nation.The enemy has deceived people about the symbolism of the sun, moon, and stars being darkened; Messiah coming in power and glory; and the elect being gathered into the kingdom. But the Bible gives the proper definitions for the symbols.
We need to take Messiah at His Word and look at how the things that He described were about the Jewish nation, for their punishment of continuing their rebellion against the Father, for delivering Messiah up to be killed, and for persecuting His disciples.
The Olivet Discourse is directed related to the 70th Week of Daniel 9, which I cover in my previous book, which says that the city and temple will be desolated because of the abominations of the Jews.

Messiah’s apocalyptic vision is a war manual, designed to hide the explanation from those who should not understand it. It uses symbolic words that are defined in the Old Testament to point to a literal fulfillment. If you read Revelation only from a literal perspective, the interpretation is hidden.

Thank you for your comment. A 70 week prophecy gets fulfilled in 70 consecutive weeks, or there’s no sense in calling it a 70 week prophecy. The 70th week of Daniel 9 was fulfilled after the 69th week, from 27-34 AD, when Messiah confirmed the everlasting covenant as the Spotless Lamb to atone for our sins.
Messiah proclaimed that all of the things that He described in His Olivet Discourse would be fulfilled in that generation. Before this, Matthew records the Messiah pointed to that generation nine times, each time He was describing the Jews who stood before Him? Should we not think that the tenth time that He proclaimed it, that He was still referring to that generation of Jews who He has just berated and cast judgment upon them?
In Revelation 1:1, Messiah proclaimed that the prophecies must shortly come to pass, meaning that they would start to be fulfilled right away. Why do you not believe Him?
the film Babylon to America is pretty spot on. It differs from some of the opinions you’ve mentioned here. Nothing wrong with that, different views bring us closer to truth. Just wanted to point that out. appreciate your work and thoughts.
Thank you for your comment Pori! Though the film points to the office of the papacy as the antichrist, they’re misleading people by proclaiming that the earth beast is the USA. It’s still the Roman beast kingdom, which is now led by the black pope, the Jesuit Superior General. And in typical Seventh-Day Adventist fashion, they proclaim that a Sunday law is the mark of beast, which is false. It’s based on the false premise that Saturday is the Scriptural Sabbath. The mark of the beast is revering and obeying the antichrist beast Pope, which may come into play after a worldwide economic collapse, and the Pope will offer people a way to buy and sell again, in the One World Government. So again, the SDA church is misleading people about a major prophecy.

I fully agree with your explanation. Coming out of futurism, I watch this since a lot of years. Wrong doctrines try always to hide the real role of the unholy Vatican and the Global Roman Empire / Babylon (=NWO).

The thousand years spoke of in Rev are not a millennium to come. The Greek word is Chilioi its plural not singular. You don’t start counting until you get to 2. So yes from the moment of the resurrection until now, we are ruling and reigning with Christ in the last days, If so we are prepared to give up ourselves. And yes die for him. I also agree the antichrist is not one person we should be waiting for. It is a group of people counted as one like the Church is counted as “The Body” There is also the 42 generation in Matt chapter 1. It says until Christ. There is so much there to discuss. That’s an interesting perspective Gregg. Revelation 19 points to the antichrist beast and false prophet being captured before the millennium. How is that possible if the millennium started at Messiah’s resurrection?

I myself do believe that the Sabbath will always be the Sabbath day Saturday as even Jesus apostles in the new testament worshiped on the Sabbath and Jesus rested on the Sabbath in the tomb after His crucifixion. I am not affiliated with any church right now since I left the Roman Catholic Church years ago based on their false teachings. Sunday is NOT the Sabbath and God has written it with His finger in stone and nobody can change that fact. The Papacy even admitted that Saturday is the Sabbath day and admitted that they changed it to Sunday to coincide with Sun worship which is a pagan practice.
The antichrist beast Popes have created a double deception, as neither Saturday or Sunday is the Sabbath of Scripture. It’s a false dichotomy, which causes people to debate between two options, neither of which is the truth.
Saturday used to be the first day of the Roman week, but then they changed the calendar to make SUNday the first day of the week. So there’s no way to proclaim that Saturday has always been the Sabbath.
Besides that, Scripture declares that there are three types of days, not two; the New Moon day, work days and the Sabbath day. A continuously repeating six work day – one Sabbath day cycle does not include the New Moon day.

Many people believe in a pre-trib rapture which is based on the false concept of a futuristic 70th week of Daniel.
