Flat Earth Pastor Dean Odle Revelation Explanations Debunked

by David on June 2, 2019

This Revelation Timeline Decoded Bible article focuses on a video called ‘Seals and Trumpets of Revelation’ from Pastor Dean Odle.

Video description: This is a teaching on the 7 seals and 7 trumpets of the book of Revelation. This teaching will go through the seals that have been opened and the trumpets that have already blown.

Within 5 seconds Pastor Dean Odle is already teaching false prophecy, as he’s pointing to the futuristic one-man antichrist signing a peace treaty; which is a supposed sign of the 70th week of Daniel, the supposed 7-year tribulation period.

This is the first sign that the person has no clue about prophecy fulfillment. Here’s a pastor who doesn’t even understand that the 70 weeks of Daniel prophecy was the only prophecy to tell us when the promised Messiah would appear. It’s one of the major proofs texts of our Messiah. And Pastor Dean Odle is assigning it to the end times antichrist. Fail!

The text clearly says that Messiah would appear after the 69th week, meaning in the 70th week. It clearly says that He would be “cut off,” killed and that His death would end the need for temple sacrifices. 3 1/2 years after Messiah was baptized and started His ministry, He was delivered up by the Jewish leaders to be killed. And when He died the temple curtain was torn in two.

Messiah and His disciples “confirmed” with the Jews that He’s the promised Messiah who was sent to ratify the “everlasting covenant” with His blood as the Passover Lamb. Read The Covenant Of The 70th Week

Pastor Dean Odle says that whether you believe in pre-trib, mid-trib or post-trib, we should not divide.

That sounds nice but it’s all based on a false foundation. Since the 70th week of Daniel was fulfilled on time, it’s not future; so the whole pre/mid/post debate is faulty.

Pastor Dean Odle says that the sixth seal is very plain, that since the sun, moon, stars are not working anymore, that’s the end.

Seriously? It’s amazing that a pastor doesn’t understand the symbolism of the sun, moon and stars; as it’s been used before regarding the Babylonian Empire. You can see many examples on this study. Revelation 6 – 6th Seal Earthquake

The 6th seal pointed to the political upheaval of the declining Roman Empire, when the Emperor (sun), Senate (moon) and leaders (stars) were in disarray.

Then he incorrectly cites the darkening of the sun, moon and stars, in Matthew 24:29.

Once again, it’s not pointing to the literal sun, moon and stars. It’s pointing to the desolation of the temple, Jerusalem and the Jewish religious system in 70 A.D.: in that generation just like Messiah proclaimed that it would. The High Priest (sun), the Sanhedrin (moon) and the priests (stars) were all killed or captured and sold into slavery. Read The Sun, Moon And Stars

He says that the sixth seal points to the second coming of Christ. He says that the seals can’t come before the trumpets and vials, because it would make no sense, as the sixth seal is the end point.

The seal judgments were about the decline of the pagan Roman Empire, and the trumpet judgments were about the fall of the Empire. They were being judged because of their pagan beliefs, and because Satan has used them to kill millions of saints, the martyrs of the fifth seal.

He says that the seals are the long story of the fulfillment of Revelation, that ends at Armageddon. The trumpets are the shorter story that ends at Armageddon. The vials are the really short story that ends at Armageddon.

That’s wrong, as they are consecutive. The seals were opened, which led to the war trumpets being blown, which led to the bowl judgments being poured out.

He thinks that the seals started after Revelation was written, that the trumpets started in the 1900’s, and that the vials are all yet to happen in the last 3 1/2 years before Messiah comes.

That’s wrong, as the trumpets started in the fifth century and they’ve all sounded, and the first five bowl judgments have already been poured out. We’re in the sixth bowl right now. Read this Revelation Fulfillment Summary

The studies on the Revelation Timeline Decoded website explain the fulfillment verse by verse.

His whole narrative is wrong, as it’s all built on the false foundation of a futuristic 70th week of Daniel. It’s all based on the futuristic deceptions from the enemy, which effectively deflect blame away from the antichrist beast Popes and the false prophet Superior Generals of Rome.

Sadly, Pastor Dean Odle also teaches that the earth is flat with a dome over it. He is going to stand before His Messiah one day and given an account for misleading so many people.

William, the article that you commented on addresses your question. The discussion about pre-mid-post trib gathering of the saints, called the rapture, is based on the faulty premise of a futuristic 70th week of Daniel. But the 70th week of Daniel was about Messiah’s first advent, not the end times.

So there is no pre-trib or mid-trib rapture, as there will be no 7-year tribulation period. The whole concept is a deception from the enemy.

Messiah will return for His saints at the last day, just like He proclaimed.

Here’s a Revelation Fulfillment Summary that shows you what’s already been fulfilled (most of it); where we’re at now; and what will happen as we await Messiah’s return. http://revelationtimelinedecoded.com/revelation-fulfillment-timeline-summary/

The studies on the website provide the verse by verse explanation.
