This Revelation Timeline Decoded post reviews a video by Darris McNeely of BeyondTodayTV, called Beyond Today — Is the Secret Rapture a Hoax?
Video description: The rapture teaching hides the truth of the Bible. It keeps you from understanding God’s magnificent plan for you.
Darris McNeely points to the future great tribulation, during which the seals, trumpets and bowls will be fulfilled.
That is misguided, as most of Revelation has already been fulfilled during the last 1,900 years. There was tribulation for the Symrna church era saints who are spoken of in the fifth seal, who were killed by the Roman Emperors. Their blood cried out for vengeance against the Roman Empire, which came when army after army were sent against it during the trumpet judgments.
A time of great tribulation took place during the 1,260 year reign of the antichrist beast Popes of Rome, from 538-1798 AD. They caused tens of millions of saints to be tortured and killed during the Dark Ages and Inquisition.
It’s amazing to me that people like Darris, who seems very smart, don’t proclaim what has happened to the saints who have gone before us.
Darris McNeely points to Darby as the source of the pretribulation rapture.
It’s true that Darby promoted the pretribulation rapture, but Darris is missing that it’s based on the false premise of a fututistic 70th week of Daniel.
But that’s another false premise which was created by the Jesuits in the 16th century, to counter the Protestant Reformers, who with one voice proclaimed that the office of the papacy, the Popes of Rome, fulfill Bible prophecy as the ‘little horn‘ of Daniel 7, the ‘son of perdition‘ of 2 Thessalonians 2, and the ‘antichrist beast‘ of Revelation 13, who leads the ‘harlot‘ church of Rome.
But Darris isn’t telling you any of that!
Darris McNeely points to a future 7-year tribulation, a futuristic 70th week of Daniel 9.
The 70th week of Daniel 9 prophecy foretold when Messiah would appear to carry out His ministry, and when (in the middle of the 70th week) He would confirm the everlasting covenant (that was mentioned in Daniel 9:4) with His blood as the Passover Lamb, to atone for our sins. It’s not about the end times or the antichrist. That is a deception from the enemy.
Darris McNeeely’s explanation of the fulfillment of Revelation is based on a faulty foundation of a futuristic 70th week of Daniel. That’s why I wrote a book proving out the fulfillment of the 70th week by Messiah, to expose this grand deception.

Darris McNeely points to Revelation 11:15, the seventh trumpet, as Messiah’s return.
That’s not true, as the seventh trumpet opens up the seven bowl judgments, which have so far spanned for over two centuries. The bowl judgments are against the antichrist beast Pope and Catholics who revere him. They include France being turned into atheists, so that they turned on the Catholic system. This led to the French Revolution and the Napoleonic Wars against countries who had killed Messiah’s saints. This led to the antichrist beast Pope being removed from power in 1798 AD.
But Darris isn’t telling you any of that! He seems very sincere and intelligent, but what he is teaching is misleading people so that they’re not prepared for how the end times will play out, and not prepared for Messiah’s return. I really don’t enjoy exposing people’s false prophecy teachings, but I’m called to do so, for people to see the truth.
Messiah’s apocalyptic vision is a war manual, designed to hide the explanation from those who should not understand it. It uses symbolic words that are defined in the Old Testament to point to a literal fulfillment. If you read Revelation only from a literal perspective, the interpretation is hidden.
Understanding the vision is like taking a Biblical final exam. If you’ve read the whole Word, you will have seen the symbolism that Messiah uses and can apply it to the fulfillment.
If you read Revelation as one chronological narrative, the prophecies seem out of sequence. That’s because it has four chronological layers, each of which spans from when it was written until Messiah returns.
This book explains the prophecies of Revelation on a timeline to help you see how the four chronological layers interact with each other, so that you can comprehend the whole vision.
You will learn how to identify who fulfills the role of the son of perdition, the antichrist beast, the false prophet, and the harlot called ‘Mystery, Babylon the Great.’ You will understand the proper context of the seal, trumpet, and bowl judgments; the little book of Revelation 10, and the two witnesses of Revelation 11.
Whether you’re a novice at Bible prophecy or someone who has studied it extensively, I provide an explanation that is easy to understand yet has the depth of verse by verse explanations to provide you the evidence you need to prove it out.
