I hope this first question of mine is not considered too detailed, but it is as follows:
In Revelation, Chapter 17 there is mention of the 10 horns in two different verses.
– In verse 12: there it apparently refers to the 10 kingdoms which would arise
after 476 AD.
– And in verse 16: here it is stated, that these 10 “will hate and destroy the
whore”.
Questions:
a. In verse 16 they cannot refer anymore to the old 10 kingdoms, so what exactly does it relate to?
b. Does this verse 16 already refer to the FINAL destruction of the Roman Church (to me it seems so), or only to the Napoleontic times in the late 18th century? Also note that the final destruction is (also) well described in Chapter 18, verses 8 – 11. So this is still a bit confusing to me.
Btw, I use the King James Bible.
Hello Johannis 🙂 That an interesting question, as we don’t see a time in the past in which the 10 civil kingdoms of the fallen Roman Empire hated and destroyed the whore; so it seems to be saying that in the end times, the European countries (the European Union?) where the 10 civil kingdoms had resided, will rise up against Rome and the papacy.
That would correspond to the prophecies in Revelation 18, in which Babylon the Great, the church/state in Rome, is desolated.

First of all, thank you for your swift response to my previous questions. In fact it is what I already expected. But I deliberately did not put forward any suggestion, in order to let you answer with an “open mind”. Hope you appreciate that.
Now, before asking my next questions: if ever you feel I overwhelm you with too many, or consider them less relevant, please be honest about that and tell me.
Due to my health, I do not work right now, so I can spent quite some time to increase my understanding in these important matters.

This is what I have in mind right now:
In Revelation Chapter 16 verses 13-14, there is a description of how the three evil powers (Satan, Beast and false Prophet) join efforts in uniting people on earth in groups for the final battle. Still part of the 6th Bowel of Judgment.
Questions:
a. I suppose this is exactly the situation of this moment, about which we learn almost daily in the news?
b. What does Satan represent in this particular context: just the spiritual force of evil working thru the two others; or another worldly agency (political power) thru which he works?
c. In verse 13 it is stated 3 times “came out of the mouth”: is this to emphasize that it will be mainly by false teaching and indoctrination of all kinds, that those three will try to achieve their goal?
d. In verse 14 it says that those 3 spirits will “go forth unto the kings of the earth”. That is in their effort to unite as many people as they can. I suppose that these kings represent the regular worldly political powers, which are under the controle of the three evil forces, who work behind the scenes? (The concept of many leaders being in fact just “puppets”?)
e. And the last is I think the most difficult. I also had already learned a lot about the strategy of Freemasons etc. to reach their final goal of wold control through devising three world wars. It makes a lot of sense. But I understand that according to you, each of the “unclean spirits” in these verses also actually represent one of those worldwars? Did you find strong indications for that?

Johannis, it would seem that Satan is guiding the false prophet Jesuit General and antichrist Pope, to cause the three world wars; which will push the world into their One World Government. So Satan is the dragon, who causes the false prophet and antichrist to speak words, which cause countries to go to war.
The Jesuit General controls almost every country, so he can cause them to war against the saints.
Albert Pike, a top freemason, gave the vision of the three world wars; which would lead to their total control. That seems to match what prophecy is saying, so yes, there are strong indications that it is a fit for that prophecy.
We can see WW III on the horizon, and that will lead to a One World Government, under the guise of ending all future wars between religions.

Thnx again for your response. Again it confirms my own interpretration, so that is a good sign. Now the 6th bowel judgment ends with the war between Israel and the “kings of the east”. The 7th bowel results in the NWO, as described up to verse 21 in chapter 16.
But in verse 21 itself there is mention of another big armed conflict AFTERWARDS. It is talking about a great hail from heaven. And hail symbolizes war in biblical prophesy.
I think this is not the destruction of the harlot like in chapter 18?
Which final conflict is this and who are the parties involved?
Johannis, the 6th bowl eludes to three world wars, but it doesn’t say that they are all fulfilled before the 7th bowl One World Government. It could be WW III, in which nuclear missiles are used in the Middle East. It doesn’t seem like the war between the army’s of the world being gathered against Messiah.
