It’s all of the futuristic deceptions of the enemy that make it hard to see the truth of the fulfillment.

The enemy has programmed believers to look to the future for the fulfillment, as most prophecy teachers say that all of the Revelation seals, trumpets and bowls take place in the end-times. This is called futurism.

Regarding the fulfillment of the prophecies in Revelation, ask yourself, what makes more sense?

That most of the prophecies wouldn’t be fulfilled for 1,900+ years and are only about the events of the final 7 or 3 1/2 years? Or that they describe the events that the saints face from the 1st century until Messiah’s return?

Do you realize that Revelation starts with Messiah proclaiming, “The Revelation of Jesus Christ, which God gave unto him, to shew unto his servants things which must shortly come to pass and for the time is at hand”? Messiah is declaring that the prophecies would start to be fulfilled shortly after the vision was given to John.

Did you know that the great theologians of the 16th-20th centuries taught that Revelation has been in the process of being fulfilled since the first century? People like Albert Barnes, Adam Clarke, Henry Grattan Guinness, John Gill, Joseph Benson and Matthew Poole, point  to the historical narrative of Revelation. This is called historicism.

Did you know that the Protestant Reformers proclaimed the historicist narrative of Revelation and that the office of the papacy, the Popes, fulfill prophecy as the ‘little horn’ of Daniel 7, the ‘son of perdition’ of 2 Thessalonians 2, and the ‘antichrist beast’ of Revelation 13, who leads the ‘harlot’ church of Rome?

If the futuristic view of prophecy is true, then that means that our Messiah had nothing to say to His saints about the following events which have occurred during the last 1,900 years:

Satan using the Roman Emperors to kill millions of saints during ten persecution periods. During the harshest period, Emperor Diocletian sought to wipe out Messiah’s early church during ten years of great persecution from 303-312 AD.

Constantine and the Roman bishops codifying Catholicism, blending pagan god worship and the true faith.

The rise of the popes of Rome to power in the sixth century, who banned and burned the Scriptures and tortured and killed tens of millions of saints during the Dark Ages and the Inquisition.

The Popes proclaiming to lead Messiah’s church, but teaching a false Gospel of works through the sacraments and that Mary is the intercessor to the Father, which denies Christ.

The Popes taking the title of ‘holy father’ and declaring that they are God, that they can forgive sins, and that they can provide salvation, which is blasphemy.

The great harvest of the Protestant Reformation when the saints came back to life and proclaimed the Scriptural Gospel, which caused millions of Catholics to be saved.

The translation of the Scriptures into common languages after it had been hidden in Latin during the Dark Ages. And the advent of the printing press, which led to Bibles being spread around the world.

The futuristic view tells you that in Revelation, Messiah had nothing to say to His saints about those things. I will show you that our Messiah did in fact speak of all of those things in the book of Revelation, not by name of course, but the events and the people groups were all described in clear detail, and history proves the fulfillment.

Did you know that in the 16th century, the Jesuits were empowered by the Pope to counter the Reformation?

They created false, futuristic explanation of prophecy fulfillment which says that most of Revelation is fulfilled during the last seven years and points to a one-man antichrist to deflect blame away from the pope.

During the last century, the enemy has pushed aside the witness of the saints who have gone before us and promoted their false futuristic explanations, which now mislead most believers. They’re hiding that most of Revelation has been fulfilled in exacting detail during the last 1,900 years and that there’s not much left to occur before Messiah returns. I pray that you will seek truth, not defend a belief so that you’re prepared.

You can save and print a one-page PDF called What Makes More Sense? to review and share with others.

As you read the summaries and watch the videos, pray for discernment, because your programming, the things that you’ve been taught about the seals, the trumpets and the bowls, are going to interfere with your ability to understand what the Bible is really telling us.

I’m not asking you to be empty-minded, but you will need to be open-minded.
Seek to pursue truth, instead of defending what you’ve been led to believe.

The enemy has worked hard to deceive the end times Church, because the culmination of all that he has worked for to push the world into a New World Order, takes place in the last few years.

By causing you to look to a future fulfillment of prophecy, he has caused you to not understand who the enemy of Messiah and His Church really are.

Many Christians haven’t studied the scriptures to validate the meaning of prophecies,
so they have blindly trusted what Pastors have told them.

Friend, you’re going to stand before your Messiah some day and be accountable for knowing the true fulfillment.  Saying that your Pastors told you is not going to cut it.

The historic fulfillment of Messiah’s Revelation reveals the battle between Satan and his followers, warring against Messiah and His followers.

Right now, the enemy is prevailing, because most believers don’t even know who the real enemy is. And most believers think that they will be raptured before the supposed 7-year tribulation period, so most don’t care.

This explains why Messiah called our Laodicean Church era, lukewarm, wretched, miserable, blind, naked and poor. The enemy has infiltrated seminaries and caused them to teach a futuristic fulfillment of Revelation. This has blinded believers from seeing who Satan has empowered to war against them, so they are unable to fight back with the rod of iron, the Word of God.

Friend, are you ready to learn the truth?

Below is a path of learning, to help you see the big picture of prophecy fulfillment, and then the verse by verse explanations which prove it out.

Father, I pray that you wake the church up from her slumber, and that you anoint each visitor with eye salve to help them see the truth. I pray this for your honor and your glory. Amen!

These summary studies show you how Revelation points to Rome.

In Messiah’s apocalyptic vision, He describes the historical battle between the Satan-empowered leaders of the Roman beast kingdom: pagan emperors > antichrist beast popes > false prophet Jesuit Superior Generals, fighting against Messiah and His saints.

This video is about Messiah foretelling major world events in His apocalyptic vision. He didn’t name them, but He used symbolic language to point to them taking place.

Revelation Timeline Decoded by David Nikao Wilcoxson - end times prophecy

Messiah’s apocalyptic vision is a war manual, designed to hide the explanation from those who should not understand it.

It uses symbolic words that are defined in the Old Testament to point to a literal fulfillment. If you read Revelation only from a literal perspective, the interpretation is hidden.

Understanding the vision is like taking a Biblical final exam. If you’ve read the whole Word, you will have seen the symbolism that Messiah uses and can apply it to the fulfillment.

If you read Revelation as one chronological narrative, the prophecies seem out of sequence. That’s because it has four chronological layers, each of which spans from when it was written until Messiah returns.

This book explains the prophecies of Revelation on a timeline to help you see how the four chronological layers interact with each other, so that you can comprehend the whole vision.

You will learn how to identify who fulfills the role of the son of perdition, the antichrist beast, the false prophet, and the harlot called ‘Mystery, Babylon the Great.’ You will understand the proper context of the seal, trumpet, and bowl judgments; the little book of Revelation 10, and the two witnesses of Revelation 11.

Whether you’re a novice at Bible prophecy or someone who has studied it extensively, I provide an explanation that is easy to understand yet has the depth of verse by verse explanations to provide you the evidence you need to prove it out.

  2. While I absolutely find your theory about the church of Rome a great eye opening history read, and yes the institution is possibly Antichrist as was many evil doers throughout history, Hitler comes to mind but I am of the idea that the bible is full of likes,
The prophecy in dainel does speak of jesus coming to the Jews. ect ect
but there was no mark of the beast, and those who received it, if there was one, weren’t struck with grievous sores or attacked by locusts
    (as described in Revelation )
So I think the event is still to happen in whatever form it takes

        Much appreciated.
I have noticed that biblical prophesy can mean the same thing at different times, maybe a better way to say this is “history repeats itself”
So prophesy in revelation can appy to the early church as well as the future church, that is in the current events unfolding in today’s world.

Really none of this matters, along as you have salvation through the blood of the lamb Christ Jesus.
        But it is very Interesting

        • I disagree that none of this matters, as most believers are following a false, futuristic script about the fulfillment of prophecy; which will leave them unprepared for how the end-times plays out.

They are like the foolish virgins who don’t have the oil of Scriptural truth to light their way, so they won’t be prepared for Messiah’s return.

The same symbolism can be used in different prophecies, such as the sun, moon and stars being darkened. But that’s not pointing to a prophecy being fulfilled at different times, just to different prophecies about leadership structures losing power. http://revelationtimelinedecoded.com/revelation-is-both-symbolic-and-literal/

  3. David,

I thoroughly enjoyed your book on The 70th Week of Daniel and began reading your Revelation Timeline Decoded book. Thus far, it’s been a great read and immensely helpful, and I recently bought a set of Matthew Henry’s commentaries on the Bible as well due to you referencing his work among others. I’m looking forward to reading through and referencing his commentary on certain important verses.

Anyway, I had a thought a while back that matches up with your recent Euphrates River drying up videos, where you point out that there are physical fulfillments our Heavenly Father displays for some of the prophecies that line up with their fulfillment in history. My thought involves a physical component of the mark of the beast.

Now of course, you and I would completely agree the Mark of the beast is a spiritual mark, not a physical mark as many futurists have stated over and over again. It is spiritual just like the seal or sign of God mentioned in places such as Ezekiel 9:4-6 where God shows Ezekiel men who are abhorred by the abominations in the city of Jerusalem being marked in their forehead to protect them from His wrath.

However, I’m not sure if you’ve considered this or if its mentioned somewhere on this site or in your book, but I thought about how Catholics make the sign of the cross with their right hand, which matches the mark on the right hand, and how Catholics mark their foreheads for Ash Wednesday which matches the mark on the forehead, both from Revelation 13:16.

I think it is an interesting thought to consider, as it would be a “physical” mark but not in the way futurists make it out to be, but one that physically shows and demonstrates a mental/spiritual allegiance to the Papal beast of Rome.

Bless you and I pray for your continued great work in your ministry, brother.

    • Thank you for your comment Matthew. That’s great that you’re studying prophecy fulfillment.

I recommend Matthew Poole and Henry Grattan Guinness, but don’t recall recommending Matthew Henry. I’ve read some of his commentaries, but didn’t get much out of them.

Regarding the mark of the beast, you’re right that it’s played out with Catholics using their right hand to make an (upside) down cross, touching their forehead first.

And it’s played out on Ash Wednesday, as Catholics can get the ash mark on their forehead or right hand. I mention that in the book.

I appreciate you pointing that out. Keep learning and growing in The Way!

I thought you had quoted Matthew Henry’s commentary on one of your sites you have, but if I’m mistaken then oh well.

Though as far as Henry Grattan Guiness, I have read Romanism and the Reformation, which was excellent, and plan on reading his book History Unveiling Prophecy when I get a chance.

Ah so you had already made the connection as well. Glad to know my mind is on the right track then.

Thanks for the answer, and I pray to our Father in Heaven I do keep learning through His holy spirit.

  4. Upon reading the 70th week of Daniel, the section regarding the Jubilees I took it upon myself to calculate all of the sabbath cycles and Jubilees starting with 457 BC

Judaism teaches that 2022 was the end of a schmitah cycle but when I did the math they are a year off Makes me wonder if they did that so it wouldn’t line up with the correct decree thus finding the exact date of Messiah appearing.

Also it seems like Josephus was the historian used in regards to Jewish history, while Gibbon and his historical record the fall of the roman empire is the historian to the Revelation.

    Reply
    • Jesse, it’s interesting that people blindly trust what Jewish leaders proclaim, as we can see that they promote deceptions.

Yeah, Josephus and Gibbon seem to have been used to record history, so that we can see the exacting fulfillment of prophecy.

  5. I like your book! Am contemplating buying even more copies to share the great good news of the historicist position, but I have a question about your seeming to think that the saints, on their own, will overcome and take out the Power of the Antichrist. We are told in the Book that Jesus will destroy the Antichrist and the false prophet at the time of HIS COMING WITH HIS SAINTS; this may be what is meant by the Stone made without hands crushing the feet of the Statue. I am not sure that I am ruling out a supernatural intervention of Our Great God, in the saving of His Beloved Bride, His Church.

St. Paul told us that the things that happened aforetimes, happened for our instruction, on whom the end of the ages has come. He told us that God’s method of teaching us is FIRST the natural [fore type] , and then the spiritual [reality]. St. Paul taught the types and shadows. If we look back at history, we see that Pharaoh was a fore type of Antichrist; Egypt was a fore type of the world; Moses for a fore type of Christ; Abraham’s natural seed were a fore type of his True Spiritual Seed, the church! The Israelites did not deliver themselves out of Egypt nor from Pharaoh’s power. It took the intervention of the Deliverer. It took a mighty supernatural event at the Red Sea to save the Israelites from the power of Egypt and the Pharaoh. In the event that saved the Israelites, the Egyptian army was totally destroyed! This was a mighty supernatural event, not one that the poor escaping Hebrew slaves could have themselves pulled off!

Our God is the same yesterday, today and forever. I have a hard time believing Our Great God will allow His Beautiful Bride to be ravished and destroyed by the Antichrist. If He cared enough to save the Hebrew slaves, Abraham’s natural seed, the fore type of His Church, from certain destruction, and employed supernatural means to do so, I can certainly see Him doing the same for us, in our time, and will not rule this out! To trust in the hand of man is not our calling! The Word says, cursed is he who trusts in man!

    • Thank you for your comment Mary! I appreciate your zeal in studying Bible prophecy and in helping others see it too!

None of Revelation has been literal, so there’s no reason to believe that chapter 19 is literal.

Messiah may indeed come and destroy the antichrist and false prophet, but I believe that He is glorified in doing that through His saints.

The ‘stone’ that is made without hands to destroy the beast kingdom, represents the ‘mountain’ of saints of Messiah’s kingdom, which is the context of Daniel 2:44, “And in the days of these kings shall the God of heaven set up a kingdom, which shall never be destroyed: and the kingdom shall not be left to other people, but it shall break in pieces and consume all these kingdoms, and it shall stand for ever.”

I’ve not said that Messiah’s bride is ravished or destroyed in the end times by the antichrist; so I’m not sure what you’re referring to in that regard.

You say that ‘to trust in the hand of man is not our calling’ but we can look at the victory of the Protestant Reformation which reaped a great harvest of souls for the kingdom, by the power of the Spirit and the guidance of Messiah.

Why can that not happen again in the end times?

I pray that by the power of the Spirit, that the saints can teach the truth of prophecy fulfillment, to expose the deceptions of the enemy, to cast them down from power, to set the captives free, for a glorious harvest of souls in the end times.

That may lead to Messiah literally coming to capture the antichrist and false prophet. All I know is that my role is the same, to teach the truth of prophecy fulfillment and expose the deceptions of the enemy.

I’m not a Dominionist who thinks that we need to take control of the governments, businesses, banks, etc. to overcome the enemy. I’m focused on the spiritual battle.

      I hope that provides clarity.
      David

      Reply
      • Thank you, David. It is good to know that you are not a Dominionist.

We must take into account the fact that the Word tells us that we who remain will at one time be caught up to the clouds to meet Christ in the air, and thus will we ever be with the Lord; we are also told that He will come at a time we think not, and that there will be no sign of His coming! Jesus Himself told us that His return would be like the times of Noah’s and Lot’s days; those were days of sudden and unforeseen judgment on the earth, which was full of violence and perversion in those days. God’s people were taken out to safety with just inches and moments to spare, in the Ark, and by the angels, before judgment fell! There are passages that say two women are grinding at a mill; one is taken and one is left; two men are in a bed; one is taken and one is left. These passages have to be taken into consideration, too, and they are not part of these particular passages that are rightfully treated as literary symbolism. We must also take into account the fact that five of the virgins were wise and had oil in their lamps; they were ready when the Bridegroom arrived and went into the gathering–the Marriage Supper of the Lamb [????] while the others lacking preparedness were not admitted. Even though the entire group had fallen asleep, some were prepared and were admitted into this event.

I am not one to think that we must rule out The Lord’s physical return for His Bride as figuring into the equation somewhere, especially if we know the pattern of the traditional Jewish wedding ceremony in which the bride and groom are espoused; the bridegroom then goes back to his father’s house where he builds onto his father’s house and makes a home for his bride and their future life there. When all things are ready, he returns with his wedding party to collect his bride, and the ceremony and rejoicing begin! This usually happens at night, and a trumpet is blown to announce the groom’s arrival!

If there is wisdom in St. Paul telling us that the things that happened aforetimes happened for our instruction, on whom the end of the ages has come, I am also unwilling to believe that we cannot expect some form of great supernatural, physical deliverance, as this would be in keeping with that amazing pattern that has been set up for us in similar events of the past. Moses was the fore type of Christ and known as The Deliverer! Nor do I have a lot of confidence in our humanity to pull off taking down the antichrist and the false prophet! They are thrown into the Lake of Fire. That seems like a job for the Master, and it does seem to be His action that secures this happening, not ours.

It was only by His matchless love, power, grace and mercy that the Protestant Reformation came into being; HE FOREORDAINED IT IN HIS WORD, and it came to pass, in time. I don’t think anything happens for good in this world without HIS MATCHLESS LOVE, GRACE, POWER AND MERCY being infused. My experience on this earth deems that we humans all still mess up quite A LOT, even the best of us, and are not to be counted on, in the main. Cursed is he who trusts in man! Let’s be kind to our brethren who believe in a RESCUE and a great deliverance. IT HAS HAPPENED BEFORE IN HISTORY. God’s arm in not shortened that it cannot save….

But thanks for your kind answer. I will ponder it, and I do look forward to your next book! God bless you all the way up to His Throne and back, many times, in many ways, continually and always in His Great Love, Joy, Truth, Grace, Power and Mercy!
