Are The Jews God’s Chosen People?

This Revelation Timeline Decoded Bible study lists Scriptures about the House of Judah, the Jews, so that you can see truth.

Many people proclaim that the Jews are God’s Chosen People, that they are the Apple Of God’s Eye, but Scripture tells a very different story.

They were a blessed people, as the Anointed One, Messiah, the Seed of Abraham came through the tribe of Judah. The House of Judah helped preserve the Old Testament Scriptures. Messiah’s Ekklesia of saints was founded with believing Jews, 3,000 on the day of Pentecost and more were added daily.

There’s always been a remnant of set-apart people from the tribes of Israel who were blessed, but the majority rebelled against the Heavenly Father and worshiped the pagan gods of foreign nations.

Many Christians have not read the books of the prophets Isaiah and Jeremiah, so they don’t know what the Heavenly Father has spoken against the Jews. So Christians just think of them as God’s Chosen People and they apply that to the Jews in Zionist Israel.

This study will reveal that their abominations incurred the wrath of the Father so much that He sent the Babylonian army and Roman army to desolate them, to effectively end their kingdom.

The Heavenly Father sent Isaiah to pronounce judgment upon the immoral and idolatrous Jews.

Isaiah 1:4 Alas, sinful nation, A people laden with iniquity, A brood of evildoers, Children who are corrupters! They have forsaken the LORD, They have provoked to anger The Holy One of Israel, They have turned away backward.

Isaiah 1:9 Unless the LORD of hosts Had left to us a very small remnant, We would have become like Sodom, We would have been made like Gomorrah.

Isaiah 1:15 When you spread out your hands, I will hide My eyes from you; Even though you make many prayers, I will not hear. Your hands are full of blood.

Isaiah 1:21 How the faithful city has become a harlot! It was full of justice; Righteousness lodged in it, But now murderers.

Isaiah 2:8 Their land is also full of idols; They worship the work of their own hands, That which their own fingers have made.

Isaiah 3:9 The expression of their faces bears witness against them, And they display their sin like Sodom; They do not even conceal it. Woe to them ! For they have brought evil on themselves.

Isaiah 5:13-14 Therefore My people go into exile for their lack of knowledge; And their honorable men are famished, And their multitude is parched with thirst. Therefore Sheol has enlarged its throat and opened its mouth without measure; And Jerusalem ‘s splendor, her multitude, her din of revelry and the jubilant within her, descend into it.

Isaiah 5:25 On this account the anger of the Lord has burned against His people, And He has stretched out His hand against them and struck them down. And the mountains quaked, and their corpses lay like refuse in the middle of the streets. For all this His anger is not spent, But His hand is still stretched out.

Isaiah 28:14-15 Therefore, hear the word of the Lord, O scoffers, Who rule this people who are in Jerusalem, Because you have said, “We have made a covenant with death, And with Sheol we have made a pact . The overwhelming scourge will not reach us when it passes by, For we have made falsehood our refuge and we have concealed ourselves with deception.”

Isaiah 57:3-5 “But come here, you sons of a sorceress, Offspring of an adulterer and a prostitute. “Against whom do you jest? Against whom do you open wide your mouth And stick out your tongue? Are you not children of rebellion, Offspring of deceit, Who inflame yourselves among the oaks , Under every luxuriant tree, Who slaughter the children in the ravines , Under the clefts of the crags?

Isaiah 59:2-3 But your iniquities have made a separation between you and your God, And your sins have hidden His face from you so that He does not hear. For your hands are defiled with blood And your fingers with iniquity; Your lips have spoken falsehood, Your tongue mutters wickedness.

Isaiah 59:7-8 Their feet run to evil, And they hasten to shed innocent blood; Their thoughts are thoughts of iniquity, Devastation and destruction are in their highways. They do not know the way of peace, And there is no justice in their tracks; They have made their paths crooked, Whoever treads on them does not know peace.

Isaiah 63:10 But they rebelled And grieved His Holy Spirit; Therefore He turned Himself to become their enemy, He fought against them.

Isaiah 65:2-3 I have spread out My hands all day long to a rebellious people, Who walk in the way which is not good, following their own thoughts, A people who continually provoke Me to My face, Offering sacrifices in gardens and burning incense on bricks;

Isaiah 66:3-4 But he who kills an ox is like one who slays a man; He who sacrifices a lamb is like the one who breaks a dog’s neck; He who offers a grain offering is like one who offers swine’s blood; He who burns incense is like the one who blesses an idol. As they have chosen their own ways, And their soul delights in their abominations, So I will choose their punishments And will bring on them what they dread. Because I called, but no one answered; I spoke, but they did not listen. And they did evil in My sight And chose that in which I did not delight.

For forty years Jeremiah proclaimed a message of doom to the stiff-necked Jews.

Jeremiah 1:16 I will pronounce My judgments on them concerning all their wickedness, whereby they have forsaken Me and have offered sacrifices to other gods, and worshiped the works of their own hands.

Jeremiah 2:19 Your own wickedness will correct you, And your apostasies will reprove you; Know therefore and see that it is evil and bitter For you to forsake the Lord your God, And the dread of Me is not in you,” declares the Lord God of hosts.

Jeremiah 2:21 Yet I planted you a choice vine, A completely faithful seed. How then have you turned yourself before Me Into the degenerate shoots of a foreign vine?

Jeremiah 3:6 Then the LORD said to me in the days of Josiah the king, “Have you seen what faithless Israel did? She went up on every high hill and under every green tree, and she was a harlot there.

Jeremiah 5:8-9 They were well-fed lusty horses, Each one neighing after his neighbor’s wife. “Shall I not punish these people,” declares the Lord, “And on a nation such as this Shall I not avenge Myself?

Jeremiah 5:14 Therefore, thus says the Lord, the God of hosts, “Because you have spoken this word, Behold, I am making My words in your mouth fire And this people wood, and it will consume them.

Jeremiah 6:6-8 For thus says the Lord of hosts, “Cut down her trees And cast up a siege against Jerusalem. This is the city to be punished, In whose midst there is only oppression. “As a well keeps its waters fresh, So she keeps fresh her wickedness. Violence and destruction are heard in her; Sickness and wounds are ever before Me. “Be warned, O Jerusalem, Or I shall be alienated from you, And make you a desolation, A land not inhabited.”

Jeremiah 6:10-11 To whom shall I speak and give warning That they may hear? Behold, their ears are closed And they cannot listen. Behold, the word of the Lord has become a reproach to them; They have no delight in it. But I am full of the wrath of the Lord; I am weary with holding it in. “Pour it out on the children in the street And on the gathering of young men together; For both husband and wife shall be taken, The aged and the very old.

Jeremiah 6:13-14 For from the least of them even to the greatest of them, Everyone is greedy for gain, And from the prophet even to the priest Everyone deals falsely. “They have healed the brokenness of My people superficially, Saying, ‘Peace, peace,’ But there is no peace.

Jeremiah 6:28 All of them are stubbornly rebellious, Going about as a talebearer. They are bronze and iron; They, all of them, are corrupt.

Jeremiah 7:17-20 Do you not see what they are doing in the cities of Judah and in the streets of Jerusalem? “The children gather wood, and the fathers kindle the fire, and the women knead dough to make cakes for the queen of heaven; and they pour out drink offerings to other gods in order to spite Me. “Do they spite Me?” declares the Lord. “Is it not themselves they spite, to their own shame?” Therefore thus says the Lord God, “Behold, My anger and My wrath will be poured out on this place, on man and on beast and on the trees of the field and on the fruit of the ground; and it will burn and not be quenched.

Jeremiah 7:24 Yet they did not obey or incline their ear, but walked in their own counsels and in the stubbornness of their evil heart, and went backward and not forward.

Jeremiah 7:28 You shall say to them, ‘This is the nation that did not obey the voice of the Lord their God or accept correction; truth has perished and has been cut off from their mouth.

Jeremiah 7:30-31 For the sons of Judah have done that which is evil in My sight,” declares the Lord, “they have set their detestable things in the house which is called by My name, to defile it. “They have built the high places of Topheth, which is in the valley of the son of Hinnom, to burn their sons and their daughters in the fire, which I did not command, and it did not come into My mind .

Jeremiah 7:33 The dead bodies of this people will be food for the birds of the sky and for the beasts of the earth; and no one will frighten them away.

Jeremiah 8:1-3 At that time,” says the Lord, “they shall bring out the bones of the kings of Judah, and the bones of its princes, and the bones of the priests, and the bones of the prophets, and the bones of the inhabitants of Jerusalem, out of their graves. They shall spread them before the sun and the moon and all the host of heaven, which they have loved and which they have served and after which they have walked, which they have sought and which they have worshiped. They shall not be gathered nor buried; they shall be like refuse on the face of the earth. Then death shall be chosen rather than life by all the residue of those who remain of this evil family, who remain in all the places where I have driven them,” says the Lord of hosts.

Jeremiah 9:3 And like their bow they have bent their tongues for lies. They are not valiant for the truth on the earth. For they proceed from evil to evil, And they do not know Me,” says the LORD.

Jeremiah 9:11 “I will make Jerusalem a heap of ruins, A haunt of jackals; And I will make the cities of Judah a desolation, without inhabitant.”

Jeremiah 9:13-16 The Lord said, “Because they have forsaken My law which I set before them, and have not obeyed My voice nor walked according to it, but have walked after the stubbornness of their heart and after the Baals, as their fathers taught them,” therefore thus says the Lord of hosts, the God of Israel, “behold, I will feed them, this people, with wormwood and give them poisoned water to drink. “I will scatter them among the nations, whom neither they nor their fathers have known; and I will send the sword after them until I have annihilated them.”

Jeremiah 9:25-26 Behold, the days are coming,” declares the Lord, “that I will punish all who are circumcised and yet uncircumcised— Egypt and Judah, and Edom and the sons of Ammon, and Moab and all those inhabiting the desert who clip the hair on their temples; for all the nations are uncircumcised, and all the house of Israel are uncircumcised of heart.

Jeremiah 11:9-13 Then the Lord said to me, A conspiracy has been found among the men of Judah and among the inhabitants of Jerusalem. “They have turned back to the iniquities of their ancestors who refused to hear My words, and they have gone after other gods to serve them; the house of Israel and the house of Judah have broken My covenant which I made with their fathers.” Therefore thus says the Lord, “Behold I am bringing disaster on them which they will not be able to escape; though they will cry to Me, yet I will not listen to them. “Then the cities of Judah and the inhabitants of Jerusalem will go and cry to the gods to whom they burn incense, but they surely will not save them in the time of their disaster.

Jeremiah 11:13-14 For your gods are as many as your cities, O Judah; and as many as the streets of Jerusalem are the altars you have set up to the shameful thing, altars to burn incense to Baal. “Therefore do not pray for this people, nor lift up a cry or prayer for them; for I will not listen when they call to Me because of their disaster.

Jeremiah 11:17 The Lord of hosts, who planted you, has pronounced evil against you because of the evil of the house of Israel and of the house of Judah, which they have done to provoke Me by offering up sacrifices to Baal.

Jeremiah 13:9-10 Thus says the Lord: ‘In this manner I will ruin the pride of Judah and the great pride of Jerusalem. This evil people, who refuse to hear My words, who follow the dictates of their hearts, and walk after other gods to serve them and worship them, shall be just like this sash which is profitable for nothing.

Jeremiah 13:14 And I will dash them one against another, even the fathers and the sons together,” says the Lord. “I will not pity nor spare nor have mercy, but will destroy them.”

Jeremiah 13:27 I have seen your adulteries And your lustful neighings, The lewdness of your harlotry, Your abominations on the hills in the fields. Woe to you, O Jerusalem! Will you still not be made clean?

Jeremiah 14:11-12 So the Lord said to me, “Do not pray for the welfare of this people. “When they fast, I am not going to listen to their cry; and when they offer burnt offering and grain offering, I am not going to accept them. Rather I am going to make an end of them by the sword, famine and pestilence.”

Jeremiah 15:1 Then the Lord said to me, “Even if Moses and Samuel stood before Me, My mind would not be favorable toward this people. Cast them out of My sight, and let them go forth.

Jeremiah 15:3 And I will appoint over them four forms of destruction,” says the Lord: “the sword to slay, the dogs to drag, the birds of the heavens and the beasts of the earth to devour and destroy.”

Jeremiah 15:5-7 For who will have pity on you, O Jerusalem? Or who will bemoan you? Or who will turn aside to ask how you are doing?  You have forsaken Me,” says the Lord, “You have gone backward. Therefore I will stretch out My hand against you and destroy you; I am weary of relenting! And I will winnow them with a winnowing fan in the gates of the land; I will bereave them of children; I will destroy My people, Since they do not return from their ways.

Jeremiah 17:4 And you, even yourself, Shall let go of your heritage which I gave you; And I will cause you to serve your enemies In the land which you do not know; For you have kindled a fire in My anger which shall burn forever.

Jeremiah 18:15-17 Because My people have forgotten Me, They have burned incense to worthless idols. And they have caused themselves to stumble in their ways, From the ancient paths, To walk in pathways and not on a highway, To make their land desolate and a perpetual hissing; Everyone who passes by it will be astonished And shake his head. I will scatter them as with an east wind before the enemy; I will show them the back and not the face In the day of their calamity.

Jeremiah 18:21 Therefore deliver up their children to the famine, And pour out their blood By the force of the sword; Let their wives become widows And bereaved of their children. Let their men be put to death, Their young men be slain By the sword in battle.

Jeremiah 19:4-6 Because they have forsaken Me and have made this an alien place and have burned sacrifices in it to other gods, that neither they nor their forefathers nor the kings of Judah had ever known, and because they have filled this place with the blood of the innocent and have built the high places of Baal to burn their sons in the fire as burnt offerings to Baal, a thing which I never commanded or spoke of, nor did it ever enter My mind; therefore, behold, days are coming,” declares the Lord, “when this place will no longer be called Topheth or the valley of Ben-hinnom, but rather the valley of Slaughter.

Jeremiah 19:7-8 I will make void the counsel of Judah and Jerusalem in this place, and I will cause them to fall by the sword before their enemies and by the hand of those who seek their life; and I will give over their carcasses as food for the birds of the sky and the beasts of the earth. I will also make this city a desolation and an object of hissing; everyone who passes by it will be astonished and hiss because of all its disasters.

Jeremiah 24:8-10 ‘And as the bad figs which cannot be eaten, they are so bad’–surely thus says the Lord–‘so will I give up Zedekiah the king of Judah, his princes, the residue of Jerusalem who remain in this land, and those who dwell in the land of Egypt. I will deliver them to trouble into all the kingdoms of the earth, for their harm, to be a reproach and a byword, a taunt and a curse, in all places where I shall drive them. And I will send the sword, the famine, and the pestilence among them, till they are consumed from the land that I gave to them and their fathers.’

Jeremiah 30:12-14, For thus says the Lord: ‘Your affliction is incurable, Your wound is severe. There is no one to plead your cause, That you may be bound up; You have no healing medicines. All your lovers have forgotten you; They do not seek you; For I have wounded you with the wound of an enemy, With the chastisement of a cruel one, For the multitude of your iniquities.

After the Babylonians desolated the temple, city and people, and held the Jews captive for 70 years, the Father gave them the 70 weeks of Daniel prophecy, 490 years, to reconcile with Him and accept Messiah.

The majority of Jews rejected Messiah and delivered Him up to be killed, so the Roman army was sent to desolate the temple, the city and the Jews, resulting in 1.1 million Jews lying dead around the city of Jerusalem. To read more about this, read The Olivet Discourse Great Tribulation

The prophecy in Daniel 12 describes the time of trouble for the unbelieving Jewish nation during the 3 1/2 years of the Jewish-Roman War of 66-70 AD.

Daniel 12:10 says, but the wicked shall do wickedly: and none of the wicked shall understand

It’s pointing to the wicked Jewish leaders who sought to protect their positions of power, rejected their promised Messiah, stirred up false witnesses against Him as they found no fault in Him, and delivered Him up to be killed.

John the Baptist called the Jewish leaders vipers and proclaimed that judgement of the Jewish nation was at hand.

But when he saw many of the Pharisees and Sadducees come to his baptism, he said unto them, O generation of vipers, who hath warned you to flee from the wrath to come? Bring forth therefore fruits meet for repentance: And think not to say within yourselves, We have Abraham to our father: for I say unto you, that God is able of these stones to raise up children unto Abraham.  And now also the axe is laid unto the root of the trees: therefore every tree which bringeth not forth good fruit is hewn down, and cast into the fire. Matthew 3:7-10

Messiah proclaimed in the parable of the Vineyard Owner that His kingdom would be taken from the unbelieving Jews and given to the kingdom of believing Jews and Gentiles.

Therefore say I unto you, The kingdom of God shall be taken from you, and given to a nation bringing forth the fruits thereof. Matthew 21:43

The unbelieving Jewish nation was effectively destroyed when Jerusalem, the temple and the Jewish priest system was overthrown in 70 AD.

Messiah gave the parable of the Vineyard Owner, which told the Jews that because their fathers killed the prophets and they would deliver the Son up to be killed, that He would destroy them. 1.1 million Jews died during the Jewish-Roman War of 66-70 AD.

They say unto him, He will miserably destroy those wicked men, and will let out his vineyard unto other husbandmen, which shall render him the fruits in their seasons. Matthew 21:41

Messiah proclaimed the parable of the wedding feast, calling the Jews to believe in Him as their Messiah. Those who refused were destroyed and Jerusalem burned during the Jewish-Roman War of 66-70 AD.

But when the king heard thereof, he was wroth: and he sent forth his armies, and destroyed those murderers, and burned up their city. Matthew 22:7

Messiah proclaimed the parable of the nobleman which ended by saying that the unbelieving Jews would be slain before Him. Hundreds of thousands of Jews were slain in 70 AD when the Roman armies flooded into Jerusalem.

But those mine enemies, which would not that I should reign over them, bring hither, and slay them before me. Luke 19:27

In Matthew 23, Messiah gave His greatest condemnation of the Jewish leaders, with many “woe to you” accusations.

Messiah accused them of being the descendants of those who killed the prophets. He told them to fill up the measure of their fathers, indicating that they would deliver Him up to be killed.

He prophesied that they would kill His prophets, which they fulfilled by stoning Stephen to death and killing some of the disciples.

And He said that judgment for shedding the righteous blood of the prophets would come on their generation.

O Jerusalem, Jerusalem, the one who kills the prophets and stones those who are sent to her! How often I wanted to gather your children together, as a hen gathers her chicks under her wings, but you were not willing!

He proclaimed to the Jewish leaders who were standing before Him:

Fill up, then, the measure of your fathers’ guilt. Serpents, brood of vipers! How can you escape the condemnation of hell? Therefore, indeed, I send you prophets, wise men, and scribes: some of them you will kill and crucify, and some of them you will scourge in your synagogues and persecute from city to city, that on you may come all the righteous blood shed on the earth, from the blood of righteous Abel to the blood of Zechariah, son of Berechiah, whom you murdered between the temple and the altar. Assuredly, I say to you, all these things will come upon this generation.” Matthew 23:32-36

Filling up the measure of their fathers’ guilt, was pointing to the fact that just as their fathers had killed the prophets, they would kill the Son; just as the parable of the Vineyard Owner foretold.

Acts 3:22-23 proclaims that the Jews who don’t listen to the promised Messiah shall be destroyed.

For Moses truly said unto the fathers, A prophet shall the Lord your God raise up unto you of your brethren, like unto me; him shall ye hear in all things whatsoever he shall say unto you. And it shall come to pass, that every soul, which will not hear that prophet, shall be destroyed from among the people.

The tribe of Judah was blessed, in that they brought for the promised Messiah, but they were condemned for continuing in rebellion against the Heavenly Father and for delivering the Anointed One up to be killed. The curse of the Mosaic Covenant was poured out on the Jewish nation.

The only mention of Jerusalem in Revelation points to Messiah’s Ekklesia of saints who are called Holy Jerusalem.

Him that overcometh will I make a pillar in the temple of my God, and he shall go no more out: and I will write upon him the name of my God, and the name of the city of my God, which is new Jerusalem, which cometh down out of heaven from my God: and I will write upon him my new name. Revelation 3:12

And I John saw the holy city, new Jerusalem, coming down from God out of heaven, prepared as a bride adorned for her husband. Revelation 21:2

And he carried me away in the spirit to a great and high mountain, and shewed me that great city, the holy Jerusalem, descending out of heaven from God, Revelation 21:10

The only mention of Jews in Revelation is not in a good way.

I know the blasphemy of them which say they are Jews, and are not, but are the synagogue of Satan. Revelation 2:9

Behold, I will make them of the synagogue of Satan, which say they are Jews, and are not, but do lie; behold, I will make them to come and worship before thy feet, and to know that I have loved thee. Revelation 3:9

Many modern Jews revere the Babylonian Talmud (which says wicked things about Messiah, His mother and His saints) over the Bible. They study the Satanic Egyptian Kabbalah which is full of sorcery. This is why Messiah declares that they are of the synagogue of Satan.

Regarding the Jews who live in Zionist Israel, read Revelation 16 – 6th Bowl Judgment

The New Testament proclaims that physical Jews are not the Chosen People. It is the Jews and Gentiles who have a covenant relationship with the Father through the Son.

Romans 2:28-29 tells us that a Jew is one inwardly, whose heart is circumcised.

For he is not a Jew who is one outwardly, nor is circumcision that which is outward in the flesh; but he is a Jew who is one inwardly; and circumcision is that of the heart, in the Spirit, not in the letter; whose praise is not from men but from God.

Romans 9:6-8 declares that Abraham’s fleshly descendants ARE NOT the children of Elohim.

For they are not all Israel who are of Israel, nor are they all children because they are the seed of Abraham; but, “In Isaac your seed shall be called.” That is, those who are the children of the flesh, these are NOT the children of God; but the children of the promise are counted as the seed.

Galatians 3:7 tells us that ONLY those who are of faith are the children of Elohim.

Therefore know that only those who are of faith are sons of Abraham.

Galatians 3:16 tells us that the seed of Abraham is Messiah.

Now to Abraham and his Seed were the promises made. He does not say, “And to seeds,” as of many, but as of one, “and to your Seed,” who is Christ.

Galatians 3:28-29 tells us that followers of Messiah (Jew and Gentile) are Abraham’s seed who receive the promises made to Abraham.

There is neither Jew nor Greek, there is neither slave nor free, there is neither male nor female; for you are all one in Christ Jesus. And if you are Christ’s, then you are Abraham’s seed, and heirs according to the promise.

Paul is clearly telling us that true Israel, true Jews, believe by faith, and so inherit the promises made to father Abraham.

Everyone who believes in Messiah by faith, are the Chosen People of God. They will inherit Holy Jerusalem when Messiah returns.

Are The Jews God's Chosen People?

I pray that this study helps you see the truth, as the enemy has tricked the end times saints into believing a false narrative about the Jews in Zionist Israel, so that the saints don’t realize that they are the true Israelites, who are part of the Commonwealth of Israel.
