Thank you for your comment Mark! I haven’t completed a study about Revelation 20, because I’m still studying it. The antichrist Pope and false prophet Superior General will have been captured, and Satan imprisoned; but ruling and reigning for a 1,000 years seems odd to me, as it’s such a long time.
People say that there will be 6,000 years of history from creation, and then 1,000 years of rest; to mimic the creation week; but ruling and reigning doesn’t really sound like rest to me.
What are your thoughts about Revelation 20?

First I want to say I enjoy your website immensely. You explained the breakdown of the six vials or bowls. You said that the Antichrist and the false prophet would have seen Gods people be taken …how will this happened since the scriptures state when Jesus come he will resurrect all those dead in Christ first? Any left on the earth when he comes will be taken in the air. You say since revelation does not say all people will be killed that people will be left on the earth, how can this be since everyone will have to make a Choice as to who they will obey; either Antichrist or God? Those who obey Antichrist will die when Jesus returns and any left in Christ he will taken or have been killed for not obeying Antichrist. It seems to me that we all will have to make a decision as to who we will worship and when Jesus comes he will give the reward or the punishment.the 1000 year reign is from heaven judging those dead for the second resurrection. Once Satan is let lose and those dead are resurrected from the second resurrection will try to attack new Jerusalem and that is when they all will be destroyed. Do you explain the feast leading up to Christ return? I would love to study that if you have it please. If you could please let me know which post to seek you reply I’d be great full.

I’ve come to study historicism, protestant reformation, and end times. Until recently I’ve never heard of the historic view and I’m convinced, especially in light of futurism Jesuit authors. Rev 20 as explained by amillinialism does present some valid points. I also don’t see any conflict with amillinialism and historic view. According to the feasts tabernacle certainly sounds likes new testament as God the father and the Son live in born again believers through the Holy spirit. Amillinialism essentially says the 1,000 years symbolically not literally. The belief is the 1,000 is Jesus reigning in his people now before Jesus physically returns to gather his people. The belief also is when Jesus returns that will also be the great white throne judgement. Also an excellent point that amillinialism makes is why would all the saints in heaven want to come back to earth to reign after being in heaven? Another belief is Satan is bound on earth during the same time period TO NOT DECIEVE NATIONS then loosed a little season to decieve the nation’s again. It’s an interesting view point. I’ve also come along Isaiah 29 especially 9 and 10 about the spirit of deep sleep. That sure sounds like unholy spirit of kundalini that really took off around 1900. The most Interesting aspect of kundalini is it’s ecumenical qualities. Like fire from heaven uniting all the false christians, mormons, catholics, hindus, and wherever else this witchcraft spirit of hell is found. Amillinialism is an interesting view point, that I’m not saying is correct but very well could be.

Ori, we can presume that telling the leaders of the Roman Empire that a foreign army was going to come and defeat them, would not be welcomed. As for who would read Revelation, we have no proof, if that’s what you’re asking for; but I dare say the enemy in Rome knows the prophecies in Revelation very well.
Books of the bible aren’t divided between literal and symbolic. We simply have to look at the context of the passage. In regard to the fulfillment of Revelation, history unveils prophecy; meaning we can look to see how the symbols pointed to a literal fulfillment.

The temple in 2 Thessalonians 2 isn’t about a physical temple, as when Paul wrote, the temple was still standing in Jerusalem. He was pointing to the true temple, naos, of which Messiah is the cornerstone, the disciples the foundation, and the saints the little stones which make up the walls.
