This is part 5 of the introductory reading and discussing a paper that deals with Martin Luther’s understanding of identifying the biblical, historical and prophetic Antichrist.
Martin Luther’s understanding that the papacy and ONLY the papacy fulfills this role to the letter grew as he grew in the understanding of the Word of God as do we all. It was for him a hard learning curve, considering he was raised catholic and an Augustinian monk himself.
So during these 5 readings which will lead us to read the book “Against the Papacy, an Institution of the Devil” we will learn how Martin Luther understood the roman catholic church to be the synagogue of Satan that it is.
After these 5 readings I will read and discuss that last book Luther wrote and published in 1545, on the same day, the diabolical counterreformational council of Trent started, the 25th of march 1545.
